After much procrastination I decided it was time to change flooring in my home. I went to Carpets and Us and spent an hour looking at vinyl plank flooring and getting all my questions answered by Stephen. I made the decision to get this beautiful floor ordered and installed by them. I met both Nancy and Carol who made this entire experience less stressful. My only regret is that I waited this long to get my floor done. Their work is impeccable. Im so happy with the end result and the team at Carpets and Us made me feel like weve been friends for 20 years. Thank you so much!

We were referred to Carpets & Us by our neighbor, after almost making a terrible mistake. Nancy and Carol made the entire experience absolutely amazing. They are so warm and personable and have treated our family like their own. They took the time out to sit with us and choose the perfect carpet for our master and for our girls bedrooms. They truly made us feel at home. All the carpets are gorgeous, feels like you’re walking on clouds. Pictured here is “Dove” in both the girls rooms. It picks up both light beige/cream or gray tones, you can’t go wrong with it. We put “Oceantide” in our master and it is gorgeous. The installers were great as well- professional, respectful, efficient and very kind. We have nothing but great things to say about everyone here. Highly recommend going to Carpets & Us. I recently renovated my home and was shopping around for new flooring. After walking in and out of several stores where the sales help did not offer enough guidance that I needed for my first home improvement project, i came across a store on Gardiners Avenue in Levittown called Carpets and Us. They turned my shopping experience around! The saleswomen helped me in choosing the right products for my home. They even helped me with my paint colors!! From ordering to installation, everything went Perfect. The owner Nancy educated me on the care and maintenance on the wood flooring and carpets that I purchased. I NOW am recommending Carpets and Us to all!!!!!

After shopping for an odd sized area rug at many big named stores, I went here and Nancy was so helpful and spent a lot of time with me. She helped me pick the proper size for the room and the order was placed on Wednesday. She said it would be bound and ready by the weekend, and it was by Saturday. I was impressed by the quality of the rug and it was reasonably priced. No wonder she’s been in business for over 30 years!I highly recommend Carpet & Us.

We were long time customers if this store. Bought laminate flooring in 2016 recommended by owner Nancy Skolnick. Flooring began to peel after two years. She said she’d replace the flooring, told us to pick out the product, not to worry about cost, that she wanted us to be happy. She did not return calls, did not respond to emails and now will not live up to her promise. She is is disreputable, dishonest, and does not keep her word. Do not purchase any products from Carpets and Us.

They worked with us to get the carpet installed very quickly. Its refreshing to find a honest local company with a added bonus of being owned and run by women. AMAZING EXPERIENCE! The customer service was incredible! Out of all the companies we have been dealing with while redoing our home, they were the BEST! They are very knowledgeable!! They have a staff that is very up to date with current trends! The product selection is modern and awesome! Within several minutes of talking about our ideas they picked the perfect carpet! They were patient, and extremely helpful! I 100% recommend this company! I’ve never been happier with a purchase! Looking forward to giving them more business!

Despite the owner’s response, she recommended the product and told us it would be perfect for our home. She then promised to replace it regardless of the inspector’s findings. She said she’s okay for the product to us, in front of her employees and when we had a worker in our home. Now she’s backpedaling. She does not return calls, does not respond to emails, does not know how to honestly run a business and leaves her employees to cover for her total lack of concern or good business practices. You are wasting your effort and giving away your money if you do business with her. So much for treating friends and customers well. Best avoid Nancy Skolnick and her store.

Superior service. I worked with many contractors during COVID-19 while trying to move into my home on LI. There were many hurdles to overcome due to the state of the world, and Nancy and Carol overcame all of them with a smile. I was very specific with the quality, colorway, types and dates for my floor coverings. This included changing my mind and budget several times. Nancy and Carol would pivot, find new samples (even 6 grey ice samples!!), and then sourced materials they do not carry. When my sons carpet did not make it in time for installation day (due to the vendor delays that the could not control), they put in a similar carpet to hold me over!! I was amazed by how easy they were to reach (texting me options of room transitions before the business day began the day my hardwood went down). I cant wait to work with them again!

We had a terrible experience visiting this store and we were discriminated against because we selected a rug with a higher price point. The owner kept repeating the cost of the rug and demanded that we convert the measurements we brought in so it would be easier for her to process. I’m sorry, but that is not our job as the customer. She was rude and continued to stress the price and made it clear that she did not want to be bothered. No one should be treated in this manner. It’s an embarrassment to how this establishment is run. If you value being kind and a decent human being, please avoid this store and support another business that treat’s every customer with human decency.

Bait and switch rug company, I used this store several times over the last 15 years, they dont even know who their base customers are. I purchased an area rug from Carol. she told me one thing at the time of purchase she clearly said that the pad was included. I paid them in full and I went back a week later and they only had the carpet. I took the rug home and Carol told me to come back to pick up the padding that the guy didnt cut it yet. Not once did she ever mention an addition fee. When I went to pick up the padding they told me about the extra charge. they denied that they told me this was included and caught a major attitude with me. Dont go there if you dont want to be lied to. I would have easily paid for the padding if they told me that from the beginning.

This is my second time going to carpets & us for our flooring needs. Our floors look amazing. It looks like a completely new office. Nancy is a pleasure to work with and is very accommodating. I would highly recommend to everyone!

I recently purchased carpeting for my bedroom at Carpets & Us. It was my second time dealing with them and I would not go anywhere else. Nancy, Carol and Bill were each a pleasure to work with. They were patient, helpful, professional, knowledgeable and very personable. They have a huge selection of carpeting at very reasonable prices. The people who did the measuring and installation were also great and did an excellent job. My carpet looks fantastic! In fact, the carpeting that I purchased from them three years ago for my den has held up so well, that it looks as good as new! I highly recommend Carpets & Us. Absolutely fantastic job. After taking up our old carpet to find the hard wood was not workable Carpets & Us came through quickly and efficiently. Every member of the team we came in contact with including the owner were kind and so helpful. Our stairs and landing look so chic!

We purchased carpeting a little under a year from here. The carpet is beautiful but installation was terrible. I called and told them about feeling hard knots underneath & they sent someone to hammer it flat. It never resolved the issue and Im stuck with several areas throughout my house with this hard knot underneath after spending a good amount of money. Very disappointed!*We was going to order tiles but changed our minds after this experience with the carpeting.** I sent an email with the information today. Thank you for following up!** I got a phone call after posting this review and they apologized saying they would put a claim through to insurance. I didnt hear anything else from them nor did anyone come out to try to fix or replace our carpet.Update:There was no more follow ups concerning claim to insurance and fixing or replacing the carpet. This issue was never resolved!

This staff is very customer friendly and will go to any length to ensure customer satisfaction. They are also very knowledgeable. You never feel rushed and they offer their expertise on color and style. I am sorry that I didnt know about this store sooner.

Had a flood that took out first floor flooring the week before Thanksgiving. Nancy and Bill went above and beyond to have new floors installed before the holiday. The material, pricing, and quality of workmanship is on par with the attentiveness and hospitality that you receive in person, on the phone, and with email. Their price points were extremely aggressive when it came to both carpets as well as comercial rubber-tile flooring. My family has been customers here since 1992. Wonderful prices. Couldnt ask for a more personable experience. They wont push unnecessary products on you. Why do we keep going back to the same barber or repair shop....cause of the service, well here is what happen to me. I have been going to the Levittown store now for 20 years plus where I have bought carpets and laminate flooring. I was redoing my kitchen and found I need to replace some laminate flooring. I took a small piece that had to be 20 years old, back to the store that had some printing on it, but did not remember who made it. thats where Nancy step up to the plate. instead of just turning me away she went out of her way to help. This beautiful woman in a dress went into the basement with the sample in hand and found a box covered in dust that was made by Shaw. The color was off by a little but it was the right size and shape to lock into what I had in my house. I got my kitchen done any Nancy had a cleaning bill for the dress. Ill be going back to the Levittown store for all my next floor coverings, and I only gave 4 stars cause I believe nobody is perfect, but will recommend this store to anybody. Thanks again Nancy!
