This USPS location is horrible. Every time I go, theres always a long wait and some (not all) of the employees are rude. I normally use my own packing tape when I return a shipment; however, I did not have packing tape when I recently returned a package, but figured USPS would have it there. When I approached the counter, I was told by one of the employees that I was holding up the line and was then asked to use scotch tape to close my package because they also did not have packing tape. Luckily, I have the tracking info, but I do hope my package arrives at its destination.
Someone is stealing At this location. I dropped off my smart watch in December to be shipped to Apple store and they said they never received it. I never got tracking or answers to what ever happened to the watch. It just vanished. Then few months later I applied for a passport and I was able to track this one . It said it was delivered to my home when it never was delivered to my home. It just vanished again like the watch. They should do a investigation at this location to figure out what’s happening .
The Levittown post office absolutely never answered a single phone call that I made for about a week straight, whereas all other offices near me (3 in total), answered almost immediately after I called. As someone who runs a business, Im busy. I finally found time to go to this office in person since they DO NOT answer their phones with my 18 month old son in my arms, and the line was to the PO boxes. There was nobody behind the counter for about 8 minutes, then a clerk finally arrived and took her sweet time servicing everyone ahead of me. When I finally made it to her and explained my frustration, she said shed get a supervisor. 15 minutes goes by and Im still standing in the middle of the post office with a screaming baby, no supervisor. She then goes to check for him again, comes back and says hell be right out, hes on the phone.I responded oh so the phones DO work? Regardless, another 10 minutes passes and he finally arrived, I explain my issue, turns out my parcel isnt in the United States yet. Of course this is no fault of the usps, but that couldve simply been explained to me OVER THE PHONE.See the point Im getting at? This entire ridiculous experience couldve been avoided and I will never return to that post office.
I know with all the covid 19 issues going on... but for goodness sakes can I please get my packages from the beginning of December delivered???? I tried to call but can not get through to talk to a HUMANE! I have 19 packages that say are being delivered but never come!!!
Very ignorant people in the USPS, as years go on they’re just getting slower not faster, management gives you dirty looks constantly, everyone go straight to emailing it’s more reliable and it will get there on time
Dont expect a live person to get on the phone. They stated everything i needed to know was on their automated line. Guess what its not.
I mail a few packages each week and never had an issue with this post office. My packages are usually scanned in by no later than 430pm if i drop them off and my mail carrier never misses a pickup scan (which is important for tracking). The packages are usually off to the distribution center that night.I have gone in several times during the weekday to inquire more information about incoming packages. They are usually very patient and helpful.The lines are long but this is a lot to due with Covid and increased shipping. Even though the line is long, I have never waited more than 10-15 minutes.They have an automated kiosk that can weigh packages and print labels. There is a drop box for the packages. It is a little tight for some larger packages. A lot of issues can be avoided by Triple Checking the address whether you are sending or receiving.Thank you for your dedication and service!
Tracking says “Package awaiting acceptance” for two days at this PO.Seriously? Is the Levittown PO so overwhelmed with packages that they can’t scan them?
I went in to ship something to be returned. Ive never done this and needed some help. The girl at the front desk was mean nasty and rushing me so badly she had me flustered. Told me I was holding up the line after waiting in line myself for 15 mins. Then when I asked to to please slow down, I was trying my best, as she has me doing 4 things at once, told me well I could of made u get back in the line. I honestly wished she would have instead of how she decided to handle it! I will never allow her to wait on me again. There used to be 2 nice gentleman who were so nice and helpful.
People who work there are often rude. I put in a change of address and discovered a month later I STILL WASNT RECEIVING MAIL. So I came back and did it AGAIN and checked with my new post office... They tell me there is no change of address in the system.... so this post office TWICE has not set it up and my mail is just floating in the ether or going to my old address for no reason. Super unprofessional and causing so many headaches!!

To avoid problems:1. If your mail is important, always pay the extra $3.10 for Signature Confirmation.2. Do not yell at the clerk because your mail is missing. He/she had nothing to do with it.3. Come during off-peak hours.4. For fastest service, use Priority or Express Mail.5. Buy insurance if an items value warrants it.6. Double check the recipients address for accuracy.7. If you are mailing items, have them properly prepared when you reach the counter. Otherwise, you will force those behind you to wait even longer.
The older gentleman that works at the front with glasses is very rude. I let him know it was my first time shipping a package and his customer service was disgusting. I took my business to fed ex and they took very good care of me. I see why the postal office is losing money it’s because of very poor customer service. “Goodluck”
They refused to deliver my package and said my house is vacant. I live there and they have never had problems delivering packages/mail before, but today they were lazy and refused to deliver my package.
I’ve been going here for years. Never had a problem. As for “them having to help or do your shipping labels for you” that’s not their job. Think of them as a high priced cashier that has a state job, that after 25 years they get a government pension and can retire lol.If you want to complain about the “long lines” and the “waiting”. Look at the people in line in front of you. That’s what’s causing the hold up! NOT the employee.
I had to acknowledge an incident today that happened at this physicality. I was looking to renew my passport and when I had called they told me to come in..they didn’t mention anything about having an appointment. Upon arrival my mother and I were treated incredibly bad by a postal employee that informed us we had to go online and make an appointment. When we told him that that wasn’t what we were told..he rudely repeated himself. Just thought I’d share.
Bad service, lying and lazy mail lady, and mostly rude& unhelpful workers at the post office.I was at home all day, the doorbell didnt ring once, there wasnt even as much as the knock on the door, and around 5, when I went outside I found a pink slip in the mail, saying, that the package delivery was unsuccessfully attempted for the 2nd time(!), which was not true, and there wasnt a first time to begin with. Luckily the mail lady wasnt gone from our apt complex yet. When shown the paper and asked to give the package she made something up, saying, that the package isnt in the truck right now, for some reason, but she will definitely bring it by tomorrow. Of course she didnt bring it by the next day, or the day after that, claiming, that she forgot about it the 1st time, and blaming her supervisors for not setting it aside the 2nd. Today my husband went down to the Post Office (for the 2nd time, he tried yesterday too, but the employees werent listening or really trying to do anything other than kick him out, because it was getting closer to closing time) and it turns out, that the package might have been sent back, because it was there, just randomly sitting on the side, no one knew where it belonged exactly, so they decided its best to just ship it back, and now it might be going back to Germany(!). Mind you, I had to wait for it for about a month in a 1st place, and now possibly 2 more months just to get my phone. The lady at the office today seemed helpful enough, offering to somehow find, track, get an update and possibly return the package here before it left the country, but there isnt much that can help an operation that is so mismanaged and poorly run to begin with.
Weve been going to this post office for a long time. We frequently send mail and packages abroad and are always greeted warmly by the staff who have come to recognize us. Weve gotten all three of our childrens passports processed here, with no complaints. Even when we forgot documents, the employee was extremely kind and supportive, chatting with our kids until my husband could return with the items. Ive never had a bad experience here.
Dont waste your time! Use FedEx or UPS!Typical government establishment. The regular drivers and employees are pleasant. Service and delivery times not so much.
Staff is nice however after hours the 24/7 shipping computer never has boxes supplied. Drove to Fairless post office for boxes and a pen drove back to this office to find the drop box is locked. Bums seek shelter in both of these offices at night. I feel this would make most people uncomfortable.Bottom line stock your boxes before you leave and don’t lock the drop box inside
I would like to leave a feedback. regarding USPS office in Levittown. I have been having problems with them delivering my packaging and communicating so i can get some type of resolution of my issues. First I purchased item from best buy and it was delivered to the wring address and when i asked USPS to send me a letter so i get a refund from BestBuy and show prove that it was not delivered they did not do it. Also I had a package sent to me from my friend in Miami and i asked him to have it send with confirmation of delivery and he did but USPS left it outside of front door without getting signature. I want people to be aware of their service.
The employee that helped me today (Tom) was extremely rude and could not be bothered with assisting me in what I needed. I brought a package already in my own box..and he claimed I was unprepared because I didn’t have it already taped before I walked in the door. I thought that’s why they work there to help with these things.
Our mail carrier is awesome! And the counter staff has demonstrated excellent customer service to me every time I have needed to speak with them.Thank you for your personal and professional service.
The phone system sucks. .i spent 7 minutes trying to speak to a real living breathing person and the damn answer machine kept trying to put me through to passports and supplies. .wth... fix your system where someone can talk to you people... wow. .i gotta wait 55 minutes to talk to someone. . I placed a package paid for by the veterans affairs and in the top right corner it reads no postage paid in the united states... the mail man has been refusing to take it now going into the second week. . are you discriminating against a disabled American veteran? ... if the package is paid for by the government - take the package and deliver it correctly in a timely fashion....
My package has been at your facility for a week. I want my package. This is not the first time your incompetence has delayed my packages. This one is for a birthday gift. If I knew it was going to you bozos, I would have shopped elsewhere.
I don’t know who has the authority to mark an address as vacant, but as a result of the mail delivery person or office I don’t know they marked my address as vacant!! When I live here at the address where my mail and packages are supposed to be delivered! As a result of them doing this I lost the items I had ordered because they were no longer available once I was finally informed the package had been returned to sender! Tried calling to see who did this and why they did this and waited on the line for 45 minutes to be hung up on before even getting to speak with anyone! I work M-F 8-5 and don’t have time to come in. Answer the phone!!! And maybe knock before just saying an address is vacant because you think so!
I was happy with the customer service when I visited this post office around midday. But considering the volume of customers, it might be better to have another employee at the counter. The facility itself is bright & clean. The parking lot is situated close to a fairly busy intersection at Durham Rd. & Edgely, and I would recommend being careful when exiting the lot.
I had a package coming from Florida, it started off 6lb 10oz and by the time it got to me it was only a little over 2lbs!! Someone from the postal system took all of my things out and replaced it with TRASH! JUNK! This was right before Christmas so the biggest kick in the face was that blank Christmas card in the box the thief included
Worst USPS ever. I had chosen 3 day delivery and this post office took 4 days holding my package without accepting it and sent it back to Jersey- just to have it get sent back to them 5 days later. They are always late on delivering packages. Very unreliable.
For a federal building they are friendlier than the Social Security Administration quick and knowledgeable staff easy do it yourself mailing options purchase options PO Boxes same day delivery options anything you can think of in regards to United States Postal services processing of male gets done in this very office and gets done efficiently and effectively

The worst delivery service ever, the operators who answer the phones are rude they are no help when its comes to tracking your package the gentleman i spoke too hung up on me on purpose because i was displeased with there services. i pay a premium to have my package delivered on time and they are the worst i do not suggest using the levittown post office for package service when it comes to ordinary mail yeah they are good at what they do but not packages use the better package delivery service they are better when it comes to on time bulk delivery

Great if you like slow lines and poor service! But hey, it is a bureaucratic establishment and they know you have no other option.
Online needs to specify full service hours! I saw that you guys were closing at 7PM and thought I had time to drop by after work to ship a package, and they were closed when I got there. That sort of thing is rough during the hot weather of summer for people without a car.
I got a delivery on 8 7 15 that was not less though it did not require a signature we sign the paperwork and left it for delivery the next day the mailman did not even take the slip and it was not delivered on Monday either so we call the post office and they said it will be delivered on Tuesday guess what it was not delivered so I Ill waiting in the lobby for the post office to open since it opens 30 minutes later Fairlesss Hills post office down the road.Ive waited here half an hour only to find out the computers are down

I am getting so disgusted with the Levittown post office. Are they not being trained properly or are they just lazy? I live in a building that is UNLOCKED and get a notice that the carrier has no access. WITHIN ONE MINUTE of getting the status update, I go out and check--there is noting obstructing the entrance or stairwell and there are no cars parked in the fire lane. They had access. It was raining and poor pookie didnt want to get wet.Last time it was my mothers meds and the carrier swore up and down that he delivered them to us--only for him to bring them later that day because the kind person to whom they were misdelivered had returned them to the post office.

This one must be a close one...when checking the arrival time of an item through the USPS tracking system is usually wrong the same way forcastors predict todays weather...

I usually skip this post office because of one very nasty woman working the front desk. She is extremely sarcastic and treats everyone as though they were interrupting her day, and when you have a question she talks to you as if you are stupid for not knowing. She is short with thin gray hair and glasses. The rest of the crew is friendly, but that one old lady makes it a miserable experience going to this location.
