Not skilled. They don’t know how to do a hair cut. Never used scissors. You don’t cut hair as iron cut..They need to learn skills. First try to understand the customer’s style and then do cut. Not just start doing it without understanding .

Tried to get a haircut. Both stylists were sitting down with no one in the store. They said I needed to sign in and after I did they set up an appointment for 3 hours later. Then get a notice 20 minutes later that I was next in line. I was picking up my kids and couldnt make it. I tried to text help but I was sent to website with no way to talk to people at store . 10 minutes later they canceled my appointment. Service and the company have no idea how to run a business . I will never waste my time with this company!!

Great haircut! The stylist took her time, great conversation and my hair turned out just as good as the times Ive paid double at fancier places. Ill definitely make this place my go to for a haircut.

Kris was fantastic! She was professional and friendly and did a good job on my hair. She also recommended their new shampoo. It isnt cheap but I like the way it smells.

Staff is always friendly and super educational on how to take care of your hair in order to keep/make it healthy.

I walked in with no intention other than getting rid of my mullet that was growing fast. Crystal went above and beyond, she chopped up my hair and for the first time since I cut all of my hair off over a year ago I genuinely feel like she cut my hair exactly the way I’ve been envisioning it. Love it SO MUCH. She’s also incredibly funny, and easy to talk to!

I highly recommend this location and in particular the stylist Delaney. She’s friendly, professional and gives a killer fade!

Rachel is the best!!! She has done a fantastic job with my hair. Last year I made the decision to buzz my head and she helped me make the decision to grow it back out. She has made me feel confident and comfortable as I go through the growing out awkward phases! She keeps me looking fresh and on top of all of that, her head massages are out of this world and she is incredibly nice and easy to talk to!Everyone should go see Rachel and tip her generously. Watch her manage the place one day and better yet watch her own her own shop one day!

Only beef is JoCo requires you to log in online and make reservations first.The staff is friendly, service competitive, but pricing is a bit high.

Have been to this location many times with different great stylists, they always know how to handle my curly hair and helped me find a new style.

Good staff who are friendly and always willing to work with you to get the right cut.

They dont accept walk ons anymore. So they make you check in online. But when you show up when they tell you to, you still have to sit in your car for 30min before you can get a haircut. I checked in 1hr ago with a 30min wait time. Been sitting here for another 30min

I always have good service here. The key to Sport Clips is to always check in ahead of time on the app so you dont have a long wait.

Was waiting FIRST in line in store. Had been the several minutes with someone behind me. When it was my turn they say cash only. NOT when I walked in. I went and got money from the ATM and the only stylist was already bumping me.

Delaney is the best hair stylist I’ve ever been to in the 26 years I’ve been alive. She has cut my hair for every job interview, date, or important event in my life over the past few years. About a year ago she even got my scalp back to “healthy.” Delaney is knowledgeable and comfortable to talk to about different products available and not available at sports clips. I’m happy to report after years of using anti dandruff shampoo, going to cosmetologists for dandruff issues but nothing working, Delaney suggested the Gibs biofuel conditioner and the 3 in 1 beard hair and body wash. I’m happy to report that these suggestions have gotten rid of my scalp issues (including acne and dandruff) this would have never happened without Delaney’s exceptional knowledge and customer service. Delaney gives the confidence to her clients when they look in the mirror every time. She is consistent, friendly, funny, great at her profession, and very easy to talk to! Thank you so much Delaney for all that you have done for me and so many clients before me! I’ll be driving 45 minutes just to get my hair cut by you every time!As for the store at the Lenexa location, the shop is always spotless, well lit, comfortable, and all the tv’s you could want, though I have a feeling you’re going to rather talk to the stylists than watch the tv’s.Thanks again Delaney!

In this weird time, this was the best experience I have had.

I have had a great hair cut every time I go. Mandy did my hair the last time and my wife loved it. so I went back and got Melissa and she did an extra great job took great care and time to do a perfect job. they will even do beards as well.

Not a long wait time, stylist gave me the exact cut I was looking for, as well as some good conversation

Extremely unhappy with my visit. I had a wedding to attend today so I checked in online (45 minute wait), and still showed up 25 minutes early. I then checked in at the store WITH MY PHONE NUMBER and asked if I could run across the street to grab a coffee. They said it wouldn’t be a problem at all. I was gone 8 minutes and when I got back seen my name was at the bottom of the list with a 35 minute wait. I asked if I had been bumped and she said yes, someone walked in a few minutes after I left so they took him.... I had supposedly had 25 minutes and even then, they couldn’t give me a call??? Or just wait a minute Or two since they new where I was? Ended up not having time to get a haircut before the wedding.I can’t say I’ve ever had this bad of an experience with a sport clips before but this is extremely frustrating and will definitely not be visiting this location (potentially any) again if this is how they value customers.

I am absolutely thrilled with the ladies here, they did such an amazing job with both of my boys hair cuts, they actually listened to the boys and I on the cut they wanted, and asked questions during the cuts to make sure it was just how they wanted it. I HIGHLY recommend them for any of the fellas who need a cut :)

Great staff, always friendly, good haircuts and shampoos. They are a step above places like Great Clips and you get what you pay for. I usually find a coupon for a free MVP upgrade at gyms and other places like that.

Hi there, I went to the Sport Clips in Overland Park KS after I ate my lunch at about 2:00pm and I really enjoyed going to this place to get my haircut in the afternoon. (I think that I got to this business after 3:00pm.) The hair stylist for my haircut was a very awesome and an African-American woman who did a really great job of preparing my hair. :) She did everything that I asked her to do that Id asked her to do.(When I went to the Cost Cutters in Olathe, KS with my mom, she was very happy with her White woman who cut her hair, but Im not giving them a review of the haircut that she received in Olathe.)I didnt take any photos of my haircut when I was in Sport Clips, but everything that I asked her to do to my short hair, she did!

I ended up getting the worst haircut of m y life here. I am not good with the various terminologies that comes with the kind of hairstyle and haircuts. So I usually look up pictures online and ask if they can give me similar haircut. I did the same this time and the picture had shorter hair in the front so I said not as short in the front. I ended up having shorter hair up front and if wasnt even straight. Had to trim it all the way down.

If youre in a pinch and need a good haircut this is the place to go. When the Royals, Chiefs, or Sporting KC are playing they are sure to have it on TV. I highly recommend Teala - she is skilled and pays attention to detail. Get the MVP cut, its worth it.

The last time I went there I asked for a 2, but the lady did not check the notes. The notes have information about my faux hawk haircut, but the lady decided to shave my head. I was not very happy about that and I am not returning back to this location.
