Pony Express is my favorite drive-thru car wash in San Diego. Great staff, gentle but effective cleaning and reasonably priced. Plus, the vacuum stations are powerful and spacious, unlike some other car washes in the area.

The car wash was very good but I would like them to dry my car at the end.

Great! Only $7 for a whole car wash, rim shine and unlimited use of the vacuum for any dust or trash in your car. Payment was very easy and workers were nice. Very satisfied, 10/10 highly reccomend and would come again.

Good price ($7) for a clean car.

They always try and overflow and rush you out. There is no customer service and attention to detail is horrible. The tire dressing is always watered down. I only go back when I absolutely have no choice. And too boot the raised the prices.

I wont come back to this car wash nor would I recommend anyone else too. The wash didnt wash, the wax wasnt shining, the blow dry didnt dry, half my car was still wet. If that wasnt enough they wanted me to pay more money for a dry towel to finish drying my car. I spoke with management didnt help at all. This is a cheesy car wash, drive a little farther get better wash & treatment. The Carwash from Hell. My car is a 2003 that I treat like a 2021 not happy at all!!!

New look during the pandemic is almost over. Prices has gone up. Greeted by workers. The reason I rate this place only one star 🌟,is because one of the vacuum hose was not working well. I was there for a while trying to vacuum. Also another thing is that someone had his car music so loud, that I was so surprised that any workers did Not Went up to him and lower it down or shut the carnival music down. I noticed that everyone was bother to this and the person who was parked next to him lefted. I would like to know if there is any rules for customers not to have there car music blasting the area?🤔🙄

Great customer service. Line always goes by fast and cleans car completely. Ive gone to this car wash around 20 times and it has not damaged my paint. Vacuums are free to use and work perfectly fine.

Great car wash at a great prices! Friendly attendants serving up service with the smile, although you cant see it through the very compliant face coverings.Not sure how good their vacuums work because the day I went it was too hot to get out and do so. But Im sure they work great by all of the people that were brave enough to stand the heat.

Short hair skinny guy who guides cars thru car wash is very Rude and yells out loud at customers, obviously has issues.

I always get the deluxe wash and use the free air freshener/coupon on my next visit to save a couple bucks. Vacuums are self-service, but with no time restrictions--a blessing to any car owner with kids, pets, a sloppy partner, or just a real OCD approach to cleanliness. Most days you can get in and out pretty quickly. They even shine your tires while you finish making your ride look sexy again.

My windows were left streaking after towel drying. Almost too much wax. Could not remove few day old bug splatter. Got the top wash plus ceramic.

I remember when they first open, was pretty sure I was one of the first 100 cars. Had actually left Cali shortly after but even after a quick trip after being in town,, they still got it. Super nice and helpful staff. Always seems to get my cars cleaned whether it was a small car or a pickup. The deal they have with the air freshner in a nice touch that makes coming back that much more worth it. Highly recommended.

Well I used to like them alot because it was fast cheap and it did a good job and they gave u a towel I just went there the attendant comes wipes the side view mirrors and off to the next Im like ok well what about all the other windows? Then I asked for a rag and they wanna charge u a buck for it and didnt give any smell goods if u want one it is now 2 bucks ... Not happy with them anymore

I wasnt that happy with this place. I didnt have the compressed air at my vacuum, maybe others do. No complinatary towels to use. No shade while vacuuming. Not the easiest to get in and out of during high traffic times. The big plus is it is close to home.

My car turned sideways inside the Pony Express car wash. The car on the conveyer belt behind my car hit my right rear bumper. Pony Express will not pay for the damage, my insurance company informed me that Pony Express has no insurance.

It doesnt get my car as clean as it used to. Little yellow spots that are all over the car dont come off with their wash anymore.

Went for a car wash as usual got the gold rush but the machine just did the regular wash. I told one of the workers and they right away told their supervisor and they gave me the correct wash. Good customer service amd very professional. Highly recommended!

I USED to get my car washed here about twice a week. That was until I had purchased my new 17 F150. I took my truck there to get washed and they suggested removing the antenna. I was fine with that however the lady literary dragged the wrench across my pain leaving a good 1 scratch down to the metal. I brought this up with the person in charge.. What do they do??? Gives me 2 free car washes... On a brand new truck that THEY damaged well over a $14 value that they gave me. Why would I want to bring my truck back there?? Needless to say I still have the free washes, will NEVER go back there again.

We take our car here anytime it need a wash, they do such a great job.

The staff is usually pretty nice. I put 3 stars because the machine doesnt clean a part on back of my car and usually doesnt clean front window very well..

I don’t know why but I’ve tried this car wash multiple times and haven’t been happy with the results. The first time my tire popped, and every other time there’s still left over spots on my car. I tried one earlier today and Ireally upset with the outcome. I paid for the most expensive wash, and not only was there water spots on my car, there was bird poop all over it, and the soap was not rinsed completely off. I should not have to wash my car before coming to the car wash.

Love the prices! The staff is very friendly, especially the guys walking around applying the tire dressing and you receive a good quality wash. Good customer service with a smile.

Came here for the first time the other day and I did not leave happy. Other car washes charge less and do a better job. I left and my car still looked like i needed a car wash. They dont even wipe down the windows leaving droplets of water that dried up later on and just made my car look dirty. If they at least wiped down the windows I would have been happy with what I payed but I feel like I just wasted my money. The refreshers arent even strong and die down the next day. Wont be coming back here again.
