WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!When I came in and told them what I needed done she said ok. Didnt bother to tell me how long the wait was or have a seat we will be right with you....nothing. After about 10 minutes she pointed to a chair so I sat down. I told her I just wanted the nails I had on removed and to save my nails underneathe. She was very aggressive in saying you want gel? I was like no, Just remove these. I could tell she wasnt happy about the fact I wasnt getting a full set. Then she throws the sample nail colors at me to look at. I didnt want my nails painted but obviously if I didnt she would be even worse. Might I add she never made eye contact or spoke to me the entire time. She was on the phone my whole time there. When she checked me out after I paid she handed me a receipt and before I could even get it she turned around and walked off...no thank you, no goodbye...nothing. The worst customer service Ive ever received. There are way too many salons to choose from for them to be so nasty. Flat out rude. I will never go back and I will tell everyone I know. They need to work on their customer service and appreciate their customers that keep them in business!!!!!! Most owners who care about their customers respond to reviews. Good and bad. They clearly do not care.

Worse nail salon ever. Owner is rude and aggressive w clients. No one is safe from her abuse, not even the elderly or sick. No one should subject themselves or family members to her abuse. I’m addition, her skill set for doing nails is zero. Poor work from a nasty salon. --

The nail tech that did my set did a great job communicating with me to give me what I wanted.

This was my first time here and I loved it. Everybody was really nice, clean, and professional. The facility itself was very clean as in opening new packages and sterilizing. I loved how the pedicure went and I will definitely be going back again.

My mom was taken here for her nails. She is a cancer patient and is extremely sick. She wanted her nails done to feel pretty for a little while. The female owner, yelled at her, yanked her hands, SMACKED her hands and even cut her because she was so aggressive. My mom is in a wheelchair and has a hard time keeping her hands still. She explained this to the woman and she said “I don’t care”. That sums it up. The OWNERS DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU!!! I went in to confront her. She refused to look at me or even apologize. This place is run by sickening, hateful, uncompassionate people. Her husband didn’t even have the decency to apologize for her. This is a BAD BUSINESS. PLEASE NEVER GO TO THIS SALON AGAIN.

I had a lovely time being pampered.The atmosphere is inviting and your greeted with warm, friendly hospitality.It is a great feeling to know that tonight I will drift off to sleep with my feet feeling cool and moisturized.Thank you very much. 🙂👍

My elderly mother with cancer went to them to have her nails done and the owner was very rude to her. She smacked my moms hands and yelled at her when my mom didnt understand what the lady wanted her to do. She made her cry and offered no apologies. Our family will never give them business again!

Golden Nails was once a go to for me and I have spent several dollars getting my nails and toes done there. However, the customer service definitely isn’t there and they do not value their customers. There are several times that I have waited for a service and have been ignored. On my last visit I came inside and for over 30 minutes and no one acknowledged me or asked what service I wanted performed. After waiting for almost a hour I called and asked if I could schedule to come back in about a hour (since I was already waiting, being ignored and in line with 3 people in front of me). The lady told me no and recommended I come the next day. I had already waited for an hour without being acknowledged, then I was asked to come back the next day with it being two hours until closing. The only thing I wanted was a polish change. That’s very inconsiderate. The owner of Golden Nails is very rude and has HORRIBLE customer service so I will be going elsewhere to get my nails done from now on because my money definitely isn’t valued there.If you do decide to go there I recommend Tee of Henry. They both are AMAZING. However I don’t care for the manager. She’s very rude.

Worst nail experience ever, Cong was just throwing around my hands and she was very rough, apart from that the work she did was very sloppy and so poor, she rushed through the whole thing and grabbed her purse and threw all her belongings in it and rushed out of the establishment as soon as she finished. Very angry i almost just walked out.

They made me wait with 6 nails glued on for 30 minutes then said they could do a design that they couldn’t do instead of just saying they couldn’t do it, they wrote letters backwards on my nails and when I called to tell them I needed them fixed they said I can come back in 3 days and hung up on me on the phone....super disappointed..if you want good nails I highly recommend finding a different establishment!

Worst place I’ve been too. I normally go to regional nail at Walmart in mount Dora. I tried this place with my mom. My nails normally last 3 weeks when I go to regional nail no breaks, nothing. I go here pay $40 for service not including tip. I was very pleased with my nails before leaving. However my nails last 8 days! I’m livid. I came in April 2nd my pointer finger nail was already broken (same one that broke after 8 days). I got called into work and couldn’t come in Friday when I had called to come in to have them fix. When I called and asked to come in the lady on the phone stated, “come in anytime, but not right now” I call back on the 11th Tuesday to come in at 5. I explained what happened telling me on the phone they’ll fix it after being rude yet again. I still come in, I ask the lady about it and she tells me $4 says “it’s normal for that to happen” any other nail solan I’ve been to my nails would’ve lasted a week. I come here it’s been 8 days one falls off and others are coming up.My moms nails have lasted if you do go here seen HENRY only one I would recommend.The lady in the back on the left side. She did them in the second chair seems young.Manager was very rude to many people while I was in there.

I look forward every month for a mani pedi! Amy, and Pifer have done a amazing job for me. This is the first time at a nail salon I can actually relax and enjoy my time spent there. I highly recommend this salon its amazing! I wish for a massage therapist there that would be awesome!😀

This place NEVER disappoints! Everyone is always so nice and kind. Place is clean and tidy too. Teddy always does a great job. John did my pedicure today and it was perfect. They were super busy but they kept telling me they would be right with me. I love this place and def recommend coming here. I know it’s my go to nail salon for sure!!!

Lee and her brother (two seats furthest back right corner) are really great. Teddy is pretty amazing with designs... they have wine /cokes but I have never been offered any. The owner makes acrylics really thick of your into that. Overall good local spot once you find your go to tech.

The lady who directs all of the staff on what customer to help next was not so polite and profiled me soon as I entered the establishment I spend $100+ every time I come here and each time she moves to place me in a corner and not offer wine or anything like she does the other fair skin Patrons.

Decent but not great. Dip manicure took longer than usual after the guy who did my nails did more than I wanted and didn’t ask when I told him no about wanting certain things done. Will stick to my usual nail salon for a more timely manicure in the future and they listen better where I go. Only went here because friend wanted to go here.

The absolute worse service ever! We came in there the 4 of us. The staff was intimidated that we spoke Haitian Creole among ourselves although they speak their own language loudly. We wanted powder, and they agree. However, Kim only wanted to do gel polish and lied that she had an appointment coming. She then Communicated with the others to only do gel on our nails. .Desperately needed our nails done we agree to the gel. No appointments showed up. As we’re walking out a white lady came In and ask for powder he agreed and said right away. The acrylic came out thick and ugly! Do not go there!!!

Prices ALWAYS change. NEVER greeted. Hour long wait even with appointment if you are colored. Been told racist remarks. UNPROFESSIONAL. HORRIBLE. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Went in to get acrylics taken off and gel paint on my natural nails. Amy was rushing the whole time and didn’t even completely take off the acrylics. She got frustrated with what I asked her to do because someone came in and asked for her. She literally asked if it was okay for her to leave my nail unfinished... I told her I would go elsewhere and not return. I sat down 20 min after the lady next to me that was also getting gel paint on her natural nails and left way before her. My nails are uneven different leangths and I still have pieces of acrylics that was supposed to be taken off! I had to get my nails fixed elsewhere. I would give 0 stars if I could.

This place is the worst! I asked for dip powder they said yes! I pick a color for my feet after they painted one toe I decided to change the color because it didn’t match. The manager Kim decided that she would not do my nails, because I changed one color! Then after I insist . She said she had an appointment and would do only acrylic and if I didn’t like it I can leave. She communicated with the staff to all say they have appointments. Having no choice, I agreed to do it. No other appointments came after me. They left all the acrylic around my nails. They are the worst!!!! Do not go there !

After reading some of the reviews, I was skeptical. But, I absolutely needed a manicure on a Sunday. So, I decided to try it. I got right in, and had a fantastic manicurist who was really great! I have had trouble at other places with them getting the dip powder too thick. She did an immaculate job. I will definitely be going back.

During the Oak Ridge Boys’ rendition of Amazing Grace during President Bush’ funeral, they got up as quickly as possible and very abruptly changed the channel. Seriously?! Not the best place to question patriotism!

WISH THAT I COULD NOT EVEN GIVE THIS PLACE A STAR BECAUSE ITS NOT WORTH IT. This is the second time of coming in and not getting waited on. They completely ignored me when I came in and continued to ask customers around me if they needed to be helped. Then as I proceeded to leave thats when my presence was acknowledged. Will NOT EVER return to this money hungry place again. Ive been going there for a while to get my nails done and every time I go there the price is always different, theyre rude and unprofessional. I was in there waited a half hour nobody greeted me. Only one person waved hello to me. Then two people come in after me they get taken before me and when I asked how much longer I was told 40 minutes I was about lost my cool they will never get my business again and I will talk to anybody who will listen

I had a great experience! Came in Sunday afternoon, and was seated right away. Ms.Kim did a great job with my pedicure, and was a pleasure to hangout with during the time too. I definitely will be recommending Golden Nails & Tanning to everyone around leesburg.

Awesome pedicure. Hot stones, took over an hour, great massage. I travel a lot and never get to go to the same place. I was actually here over a month ago and the gel still looked good (except was grown out). The place Im at now was so crappy, I remembered I should have left a good review about this place. I cant remember the name of the girl, but it was a wonderful experience. (Side note.... If youre ever in Hawaii on the big Island... Kona Spa Nails stinks)

They do a great job however the first time I went I had to wait 2 hours for someone to even acknowledge I was still waiting. Today I tried to get a fill and was told that I would need to wait for a few minutes. After sitting for over a half hour I got up and left. It would have been better if they had told me how long the wait would be or at least acknowledge I was waiting but they dont and you just sit. I will not be going back. If they cant bother to acknowledge their customers then I will find somewhere that will. Customer service is everything and theres is not good!

First time visit..I got a manicure by Teddy which was ok. After several weeks of moving, unpacking and stuff like that, my nails were in pretty bad shape and he cleaned them up nicely. I don’t know if he didn’t use the quick dry topcoat or what but close to 30 minutes after the nail job was done, my nails are still tacky. I also got a brow and lip wax while I was there… I wasn’t happy about having to ask for the paper on the pillow to be changed (it was obviously used) but other than that, the wax job was good. The shop is clean and certainly big enough to accommodate several customers at the same time but, my observation is, the staff is simply not friendly, not that they are Unfriendly, just not many smiles or chit-chat going on. I thought the prices were a little on the high side, but that might be the going rate for the Leesburg area… I’m from Clearwater where the prices are about 10 to 15% less. I’m rating 4-star because the manicure and wax were basically done to my satisfaction, I’d rather have a job well done rather than a lot of chitchat.

I’ve had plenty of pedicures in my life and I can easily say this was most definitely the very best I’ve ever gotten. I wish I got the guys name but I am very very pleased!!

I love this place they are quick and polite. I like the huge selection of polish and acrylic colors. The French gel polish on my toes lasted for 2 months its well worth the money.

Have not been disappointed with this place yet! Being new to the area I have definitely checked out a few different nail places from Leesburg all the way into Mount Dora and this one is probably the one Ill be sticking with!

I went to this salon at the last minute before going out of town. I was get ready to leave town. I got mani and eyebrows done. When one of the ladies did my eyebrows the wax was so hot that it burnt my eyelid and I have a tiny scar above my eye from where the burn was. The mani hurt afterward like I knew something did not right bc I typically go to pretty nails and spa on 466 in lady lake and they do a great job they just renovated and are sooooo lovely. Do not go here waste of money and would give a zero star if I could

I was greated when I came in immediately. I had an appointment at 130pm. I only had to wait about 15 mins. Shop was very busy. I met with Troy. He did a phenomenal job. I was done here visiting my family from NY. I am very happy and will be back. I got a gel French powder manicure. He quoted me $40 over the phone but then charged me $45. I didnt question because their brochure does say $40 and up so I understand the change in price. Still happy with service and would return

Manager was on her phone whole time she did my nails. Kept stopping to talk to other people and go on her phone. Me and my sister both asked for regular polish. She then charged us for gel polish, we again told her to do regular polish and she changed the price but used the same polish. Extremely rude when asked any questions.

Had a partial massage (upper back) the other day and loved it. The hot stones were wonderful! I only had a 15 minute massage, but left completely relaxed after a stressful week!

The quality of the work is good....my only complaint is that the last 3 times I made an appointment it took forever for them to get to me......like a pedicure and full set takes 2-3 hrs......once done it looked great!.....bit if your in a hurry give yourself at least 3 hrs....

I am so disappointed with this place and the owner...the male. I got my nails done on May 25th at 11:30am and flew out to NYC on May 26th. Around 9pm on May 26th 2 of my nails started to lift from the nape of my finger and I was shocked. I took a video of the nail lifting, literally 1 day later. On Monday May 27th a 3rd nail started to lift...fyi, I have the powder dip. So I called and spoke to the owner, the Male, and explained to him that 1 day later and the powder is lifting off my nails...I paid $50 to get the powder dip and they are lifting. I explained to him rhat I am in New York on vacation and wont return for 10 days and I need to get my nails fixed at no charge. I am arrived June 6th and just called the owner now states, I am lieing, yes, he called me a liar, and he will fix but I have to pay at least half price...he refused to fix nail and even went as far as hanging up on me...yes, he hung the phone up on me...I have been going to this salon for about 4 years and hes always been rude. I stopped going before, because of the rudeness of the owner for about 8 months and started back again since December 2018, but this is it. I will not be going back to Golden Tan nails in Leesburg. Ill miss the work the Lee and Phifen does, but the rudeness of the owner and accusing me of being a liar and hanging the phone up on me is absolutely unacceptable. I paid $50 to get my nails done and 1 day later, literally 1 day later, the powder is lifting off of them and I called 2 days later to report and have a video with time and date stamp as another evidence and you accuse me of lieing...and Ive been coming to your shop for almost 4 years...REALLY...nope, customer service is very important. I am so disappointed....smh!

Went there with a pic in hand on how I wanted my nails done, needless to say they didnt know what they were doing.

My nails look horrible some are longer then others, looks ugly. I also was forced for my nail color and design to be chosen !! I got a pedicure and my GEL polish is already chipping 1 week later ! My nails are super wide which makes my fingers looks weird ! Do not like the customer service there not friendly at all and they make you wait forever !! I got there at a reasonable time before 6 and they made me wait so long that I was told to come back another day !! I suggest that you find another nail place cuz this one is not good !!!!

Been here twice. Both times I didnt like the end product. I kept telling the technician that my nails were too square, no one understood what I was trying to say. I asked for a manicure and was told i didnt need one, and she only painted my nails!! The technician talked incessantly to another technician and completely ignored me the entire time! Very disappointing experience. Im new in town so now I must try to find something better.
