Bobby the master plumber, and his apprentice Sebastian were total professionals and they took pride in their work. They brought my system up to code and left the job cleaner than when they got there.Bobby took the time to explain what he was doing, why he was doing it, and what it means to me as the customer. As an infrastructure operations engineer, I really really appreciate this. As I ask him more in-depth questions, the master part of his knowledge really showed through. His knowledge on water chemistry, its effect on materials over time, return on investment, and total cost of ownership was brilliant.Changing a water heater is not a cheap thing to do, and he knows this. Every dollar I spent today was not to buy a new water heater, but the peace of mind that comes with a quality product that is installed by a master tradesman.

I live in a condo complex where the gas in my building had to be shut off after a report of a gas leak. When the source could not be found, the gas was turned back on and our complex maintenance came to each unit to light the pilot on our water heaters. Unfortunately, mine did not want to light and the worker noticed water dripping along with corrosion to my ~16 year old water heater and I was told to call a professional to get this looked into.Now on day 2 without hot water and coming up on Labor Day weekend I was in a scramble. My HOA recommended American Professional Plumbing (among others) and I called immediately (~11am Wednesday). Danielle was extremely pleasant on the other line and sent Mark out that afternoon to assess. He arrived around 1pm and stated it was time to get it replaced and gave me a quote and said he could get it done the following day. After limited options, I gave Danielle a call at 4pm same day to tell her I wanted to move forward.Mark and Sebastian arrived Thursday by 9am and worked (with a short break for lunch) until the evening. They were knowledgeable, respectful, and completed the job all while working on a relatively small 2nd floor porch where the heater closet is located. I am so thankful that remnants of Hurricane Ida had passed through the day prior and gave these guys ~75 degree weather instead of the heat of summer as the morning into afternoon sun on my porch can be brutal.From start to finish I give this service 10/10. My husband and I can’t recommend this company enough. We have been having a leaky ceiling for about 7 months now, nothing crazy but a leak that was progressively getting worse. So bad that we were afraid to use the shower - called TWO companies which essentially told us they didn’t know what was wrong but they could fix when WE figured it out - even after they put two huge holes in the wall. We are in a tough spot (as most of us are during this pandemic) and felt like we were all out of options but then I found American Professional Plumbing and I thought well - let’s give it one last try. One of the best decisions we ever made! The woman who answered the phone was SO nice and after we told her our horrible experiences with other plumbing companies - she went to the owner (her brother in-law) and then scheduled us ASAP. The next day Dave came out right on time and took one look in the hole and new exactly what it was. He was so knowledgeable about our problem and even fixed it the same day!! Not only did he address the problem, fix it and explain everything that was happening and WHY - he even took the time to show my husband how to caulk the shower just incase he ever needed to in the future. I reached out with a request on a Sunday evening and they responded right away. The next day Mark was out to diagnose a mysterious drip in our basement. He located and fixed the leak in a timely and professional manner. I had literally just moved to WV when I had a gas leak. Gas company came and shut off my main to my gas to the entire house until a plumber could cap the pipe where the leak was. I must have called 10 plumbers all telling me they couldnt service me until mid December ( because everyone was hunting) and it wasnt even Thanksgiving yet. I had no heat, no hot water, nothing because everything in my house is gas. I happened to look out my window and saw an American Professional Plumbing truck turning around at the end of my street. I hadnt seen them in my searches so I rolled the dice and called. They were so nice and they sent a master plumber within 20 minutes!! He fixed my pipe and once the gas company returned 4 hours later to turn on my gas, he went above and beyond to make sure everything worked and was secure. He even labeled our gas lines! We woke up to a leak in our ceiling. After frantically calling all plumbers in the area, American Professional was the only one able to rearrange their schedule to fit us in. The master plumber was able to find and fix the issue quickly and within the previously quoted amount. I’ve used American Professional Plumbing Services twice. The first time was over a year ago when Dave installed a commercial sink and a shop sink for me. Today Bobby installed a water filtration system and replaced the controller for my pressure tank. Both of them were wonderful! They listened to my ideas and concerns and then built it even better than I had imagined! The price was awesome! I got two other estimates on the first job and Dave’s price was 1/4 of the estimate of another well known Loudoun County plumber. I would absolutely recommend APPS to anyone - they were not only extremely friendly and professional but they responded in record time for what was a very stressful situation. We were told by another plumber our main line was leaking underground which is enough to make you cry especially before the holidays!! We called APPS on a whim and Bobby was extremely friendly and got to our house first thing the next morning - they tried to initially to save us time and money and heartache by going after what is typically the cause of this issue however in our case - it was not!!! They didn’t even charge for that entire day and night of work and then spent the next 3 days and night working to re-route our entire water system in the front yard and inside the house. They kept us informed along the way and stuck to their estimate with what was promised. Their work is also warranted for 10 years — hopefully though we never have to deal with this again! It’s debastating to have this kind of issue hit you at all but right around the holidays is even worse and APPS made it easy and cared enough to make their work personal and their understanding to our family and the situation was noted and very appreciated!
