Beautiful, quaint Leesburg wedding venue right in the downtown area. Our wedding photography team (HannahBjorndal.com) absolutely LOVES photographing weddings here! The staff is helpful and kind, and the location is really fun. The space is very warm and inviting, and it can actually hold more guests than you would expect! We would recommend this for couples wanting intimate, warm vibes in a quaint town with the flexibility to have over 100 guests!

Intimate. Classy. Affordable.When I first got engaged, I was overwhelmed at the thought of securing a venue that could accommodate ~130 guests while still maintaining an intimate vibe. As if that wasn’t specific enough, I also needed something that wouldn’t break the bank. Birkby House not only delivered, but far exceeded every single one of my husband and I’s expectations.For starters, the grounds are naturally stunning and very well maintained. The courtyard is ornate with a gazebo, koi pond, and lots of lighted shrubbery (thus not requiring a ton of extra décor - win!). Everything was also in peak bloom when my husband and I got married, which saved us a ton of money on incremental floral arrangements. The venue also had several parking options, which our guests very much appreciated!Another selling point for us was the climate-controlled reception tent. The chandeliers and perimeter lighting looked so elegant at night and our guests had ample room to dance the night away. The tent is also Birkby’s inclement weather contingency plan. Although we were fortunate to have great weather, the tent is so beautiful that I wouldn’t have been too upset if we had to use it as “Plan B” for our ceremony.The manor house is also very charming and had lots of space for our guests to mingle. The upstairs featured separate bridal and groom suites, as well as a terrace that was great for pictures. I especially LOVED all the natural lighting in the bridal suite and bathroom, as it was crucial for the makeup artists and photographers.As for the staff, Carleigh and Kristin are nothing short of superheroes. They are both extremely professional, responsive, and knowledgeable about the venue. Birkby does require a day-of coordinator, so when I learned they also offered day-of services through Simply Royal Events, booking them was a no-brainer. They went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and on schedule. To be honest, I don’t think I would have survived wedding planning if it wasn’t for them!After the wedding, we received SO many compliments from friends and family about Birkby House. Even though the Town of Leesburg has a noise ordinance in effect at 10pm, almost everyone we talked to thought it was the perfect amount of time to celebrate. For those guests that wanted to continue the party post-reception, they had plenty of options to choose from within walking distance from the venue.Overall, choosing Birkby was the easiest and best decision we made throughout the entire planning process. I hope one day I can attend a wedding here so I can re-live my experience all over again 😊

I am so thankful we found this wedding venue! We were originally supposed to get married 06/13/2020 but postponed to 04/10/2021. Carleigh and Neal (who works with Tuskies catering) could not have been more amazing and accommodating with planning during the craziness of the pandemic. They were extremely easy to work with and so so friendly! The venue is absolutely beautiful, so many great areas for photos. They have a beautiful bridal suite for getting ready with a ton of natural light and a balcony for photos. Tons of parking available behind the venue. It is also located right in downtown Leesburg, walking distance to other bars and restaurants! Could not recommend this venue enough! Such an amazing experience :)

We visited Birkby House and immediately knew we wanted to have our wedding there. It has a classy, historic charm that our guests loved. The venue is simply beautiful even without decor and it was easy to add decor for our style. There are so many great places for pictures. We loved having everything in one place, which made it easy for guests. I cannot say enough positive things about Carleigh and her team, especially Neal with Tuskies. They were so flexible with everything throughout the pandemic. I cant imagine a more beautiful venue at such an affordable price!

We are so grateful for this beautiful place and for Carleigh! It was hard to choose where to hold the ceremony since both inside and out have so many pretty options. Though the beauty of this place speaks for itself, what really spoke more than anything was the kind, caring and thoughtful nature from Carleigh. From the moment we arrived until we left she was there offering help, suggestions, and providing us with anything we needed, and even helped comfort my baby during our ceremony! Since it was an intimate setting due to covid, we provided our budget and she worked with us and was very responsive in planning. I am so incredibly happy that we shared this special day there and will cherish the memories forever. Thank you Birkby/Carleigh for being amazing and giving a girl the sweetest wedding she could ever hope for. All of our blessings and love to you!

I was attending for my brother-in-laws wedding and this venue was absolutely beautiful, wonderful service, clean bathrooms and facilities... Id recommend this space to any/everyone!

Beautiful place and they did a great job with the wedding. Dont let the size from the outside fool you there is a ton of room in the backyard area to meet all of your wedding needs. I was highly surprised no bug problems for va in late summer. Loved the hidden trashcan and things that left it very classy. Thank you

I dont know about their prices, but the bands Ive heard when the receptions were outside were so good! Parking available in the back. Entrance is on Loudoun Street SW. Grand area of grass and a cute little gazebo for the cake. Never been inside the building, but outside is cool.

Just beautiful! As a guest to a wedding reception, the layout was nice and parking good. The bathrooms were clean and the entire house was well appointed. Easy to find...
