Went in very frustrated because I could not get my phone activated after literally spending hours with the Spectrum online services, all to no avail. Finally decided to go to the Lebanon Store to see if by any chance they could help. Contrary to whatever negative views folks may have for Spectrum corporate policies, the two employees at the Lebanon, TN store were outstanding. They diagnosed my problem and had me out of there within an hour. Included in that hour they were waiting on walk-in customers at the same time all the while with a smile and courteous demeaner. It was certainly worth the house trip from Bowling Green, KY to Lebanon, TN. So, in the future I will recommend my friends to make the trip and do business there. I am confident you will be treated well. Thanks for a job well done.

They are under staffed, and are now offering cellular services, which is obviously a disaster since the line was out the door for ALL CELL PHONE CUSTOMERS who were having phone issues. It took me 1hr and 20 mins to get out of there, and all I was doing was dropping off an old modem from my previous business location. Charter has a monopoly on this area we live in, therefore, other providers cannot offer their services or compete, so charter just wages war on its customers by providing horrible service, horrible customer service, and its extremely unfortunate.

Update: 9/6/21We recently returned to Spectrum after several months w ATT.Although speeds were fast (350 mgs average) the service went down frequently and unlike Spectrum, when it was down, nothing worked. At least w Spectrum, one or the other - TV or internet - will still be available so you arent completely in the dark. Net speeds are around 250 mgs through ethernet so definitely good enough for the work and gaming we enjoy.Glad to be back and although ATT wasnt horrible, it just doesnt hold a candle to Spectrum.-----------------------Original post:Weve been w Spectrum for more than a decade but recent events led to us permanently working from home. The demands on our internet tripled and at the same time, a tornado that tore apart our community and neighborhood required the utility companies to rewire. Unfortunately for Spectrum, AT&T laid fiber lines and the speed is simply unobtainable w Spectrums current configuration. In addition, the cost of bundled packages is slightly less than Spectrums offering.So you may be wondering then why I gave them 5 stars. Its because although they were a tad expensive and we hated the billing nightmare experienced w just about every provider, Spectrum never let us down, we were always treated w respect, if we had an issue it was resolved rapidly, and the overall service was excellent. So this is my message - and humble request - to Spectrum: upgrade your speeds to get me at least close to what fiber offers and we will return as quickly as we can. We have appreciated our time with you and look forward to rebuilding our relationship as soon as you can get up to date w internet speed and reliability.

We pay $119 per month and We are unable to use on Demand today. I spent almost an hour on the phone with a very helpful rep out of California. We watched a show and when it was over it wouldn’t let us watch another.Earlier this year it was a codes issue when our neighborhood was having the same issue.Their was actually 2 different codes at different times. This is rediculous!

They operate similarly to Comcast and basically have a monopoly in your area so you have to use them. They lure you in with a reasonable introductory rate. After that time expires, your rate is a lot less reasonable but they tell you you still have the best deal. They are too expensive with no competition. I may just start using my cellular data and toss internet all together.

We pay for 400 MB per second. We are lucky to get 50 MB per second. For the last two weeks we have literally gotten 3 to 4 MB per second. Not 34 three. Four. I have called a dozen times technicians have been out here a dozen times, service is worthless. AT&T is no better, Lebanon needs to get a provider that actually works.

Always raising the prices and removing channels. Cant ever get them to come out and fix the problem because you cant ever speak to a person! Very quick to take your money and charge you a month in advance. When you do finally make contact with someone after being on on for 30 plus minutes they are of know help at all. I took two DVR boxes back to try and save some money so now I cant watch tv in either room because they informed me that I can not connect the cable wire to the back of my tv and pick up any channels because of Spectrum being all digital now the tv is blocked from receiving signal just another way for them to rip customers off!!!!

In one word. Horrendous. We moved in October 15th. Tech comes out on the 21st to connect and we need a line ran due to new construction. Understandable. Fast forward to 10/29 and three appointments that have been pushed out and we still don’t even have a line buried. Forget getting hooked up, we can’t even get the line ran. We have been told multiple stories such as a fence being in the way when the line goes from the street to our house and spoiler alert....we don’t have one. “He will be there at 6:04p to bury the line”. Call at 7:00p after they don’t show, “oh that’s military time, should be 7:04”. It’s close to 20 after 7p and no one. So we are now going on our 4th missed appointment and no internet. Pathetic.

This is the worst company I have ever done business with. After being a faithful customer for almost 3 years, I moved to a different area not serviced by Charter. My mother was staying in my old apartment after I moved, so I transferred the service to her name so she wouldnt have the hassle of opening an account and getting equipment. I went in to the local Charter office, and they gave me a form I had to sign and have my mother sign. I filled out and signed the form, had my mother do the same, and then turned the form back in to them later the same day. They told me I did not have to do anything else, that the account would be transferred to her name, and that I was finished. Lo and behold, a couple weeks later the payment came out of my bank account. At this point, I was already living an hour and a half away from the location, and when I called in they told me I would have to fill that form out again and get it notarized and bring it in. They also told me they would not give me my $50 back. I told them I would discontinue the account as a result, and they didnt seem to mind one bit to lose my business. The manager sent me over to a different department to handle the disconnection, and when I told that agent what had happened, she proceeded to blame me saying I should have gone online to discontinue Autopay. How exactly was I supposed to know that I would need to do something like that since I had transferred the account out of my name? Anyone would assume that when you take your name off a service, that you wont be paying for that service anymore. DUH. I have never been so angry. What kind of company rips their customers off and then blames the customer for their mistake, and refuses to rectify the situation?! Unbelievable. I will NEVER do business with this company.

All in all HORRIBLE everything‼️‼️‼️ Just got services with this company HAVE NOT had it over 3 months and my bill is was $465 #GTFOH...Smdh😂😂😂...Afterwards I made several attempt to compromise with they’re unprofessional (bleep bleep)...I call them and demanded for a technician to come and get they’re property cause I WAS NOT going to use my gas to dropped NOTHING off the CSR stated someone will be at my house btw 2-6. I get a call at 9:00pm stating he was on my way to my house .. I politely/rudely let him know NO you’re NOT...I highly recommend that you choose another carrier cause they’re not educated properly on they’re products and services they tell you one thing and your bill statement end up being something totally different from what you’re paying for‼️‼️‼️

It took 5 calls being transferred to every department that I didn’t need to talk to just to set up service. Then after getting the account setup I was told the I would receive the confirmation emails with correct pricing. And said that she had to take a prepayment. After one day I got the email with the confirmation of a the higher price and when I called to see why they were billing for the incorrect price. The rep stated that they would fix the price and after more than an hour on the phone I was told that the only person that can fix the price is a manager and that the rep would send a email and the manager would call back. When I did get a call it was from a different rep trying to sell me cable when I clearly to them I only wanted internet. After being transferred again to make sure of the price, I finally told them to cancel the service and to give me my money back and it took over an hour to do when I was speaking to a supervisor that said there was no managers available. This company is a bulls&@$ company and wants to steal your money.

The last time I lived where cable was available, instead of only satellite, it was known as Charter. Now that its available to me again and is now Spectrum, I will not go back to satellite again. Pricing is cheaper and service is on point. I chose self install, then realized that something was wrong, either with the cable or me. I called and someone was sent out to me the same day, and quickly realized that the att uverse installers the previous tenants had, had used several short cuts during installation and cut and used the cable wires from charter from the previous tenants before them. Being as none of this was my doing, it was fixed, correctly I might add, and I wasnt billed for the service call. Absolutely wonderful service. Even on the phone, or online chats for bill questions. Same friendly knowledgeable employees.

Terrible service, any time you try to speak to a rep over the phone. They never directly answer any questions. They are slick about side stepping the important questions. They throttle your internet monthly. Might as well be the next Comcast.

I constantly have problems all the time. No internet, no cable I have taken cable boxes back numerous occasions. I currently received a new one and it doesnt work. Prices are ridiculous and calling for tech support takes forever. I am getting rid of this service. Truly disgusted!!

Great Service. Thank you Courtney. First for three weeks I have been messing with AT&T they no showed on me two times to install their bundle service. And AT&T told me they would not lower the cost becuz they have no competition in Lebanon...Ok well spectrum hooked me up within 24 hours everything installed . The picked up the ball when AT&T fumbled and the price is lower by 75.00 dollars. So I am very pleased. And I am a comcast customer so i cannot keep my phone# spectrum is making sure its forwarding to my new lines.

I received zero help from the receptionist. Some people just casually say that when it isnt true, but she literally did NOTHING to help us. We have had ongoing problems for 2 years which for some reason cant be resolved, and had a simple question for the lady who couldnt answer it and provided nothing in the form of help or guidance. The lady treated us like we were doing something wrong by coming in there and trying to gather information. One encounter has me ready to drop charter altogether.

Cable and internet service has been horrible for the past 3 months. Several phone calls later and they send two Techs to my home to tell me my water heater is the cause of the issues. Ive heard a lot of things in my time but this one takes a new low. Only one person can be on one of two WiFi channels we have. I was given a $1.77 credit for the many issues Ive incurred over the past few months and set up another Tech appointment. Wow is all I can say. Very disappointed customer.

Speed is average at best. They can’t compete with Comcast speed but Comcast is not available on our street. I work from home often and am getting a little tired of the outages during daytime hours. Internet is way overpriced for what you get.

After one week of service With spectrum I decided I just wanted the internet since it was $100 a month for both internet and cable. Customer service wouldn’t let me cancel the cable and after 20 minutes and telling them I Only wanted internet over and over they said I could not have the intro price of $40 and now it would be $70 so I should keep the cable. I finally had to hanged up on them. I have since called AT&T and for $40 a month I just have internet. Glad I found out the first week and could cancel everything with them.
