I was looking for a 3 bedroom family friendly rental in or near Nashville for 5 nights. Everything on airbnb was over $1,000. I found old hickory lake cabins and was so happy to find a 3 bedroom for $840 for the 5 nights. It was a total bonus it was right on the lake! We spent lots of time throwing rocks into the water (my almost 2 year old could do this for hours) and having bonfires down by the water. This cabin is very family friendly with games, toys, and a bathtub for the little ones. The owner is very nice and helpful. We had no issues checking in and the cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed. We received our security deposit back promptly. If we are ever back in the Nashville area we would absolutely stay again and I recommend this location to anyone looking for a family friendly vacation rental.

I cannot say enough good things about this vacation rental. I wanted a 3 bedroom for 5 nights near Nashville. And everywhere else was over $1,000. I found this rental for $838 for 5 nights and booked it. It was even better than we imaged. Great house and right on the lake. Not far from Nashville. It was quiet and safe. I highly recommend for families. Especially with kids. They had toys and games available. Also a sandbox near the water.

Oh my goodness! We lucked up on finding this place for my bit and anniversary weekend! It is so beautiful here, quiet, and very clean! Steve, our host, is so friendly and responsive! This place is truly a hidden treasure

Wonderful ppl who own the rentals and the Fernwood cabin is so beautiful and the whole area is peaceful, very relaxing and beautiful. Right by Old Hickory lake so swimming, fishing, paddle boating. It was the greatest spot to enjoy celebrating my daughters graduation, HIGHLY recommend and the rates are very affordable, Thanks again to Steve and Deb for use of this wonderful space!! They provide you everything you need minus food, that is worth the stay in itself!!

Great cabin! Owner was beyond helpful and has lots of insights. Would 100% recommend if you want a relaxing weekend or week this would be a great place.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and we loved it. Our cabin was right on the lake, had everything we needed, and was very clean. The fishing was great!! I will defiantly be back and would recommend any of their cabins to anyone looking for a quite place to stay on the lake!

Wonderful location, cabin accommodations, and access to the lake. Steve (owner) was fantastic and made our stay fun and comfortable. A local marina allowed us to dock our pontoon overnight at Steves property. We rented the Slayden and Herons Landing for nine guys and it was a perfect set up. Thanks Steve!

Super rude! They didnt want us to stay here because our son was about to turn 2. We wanted a place to stay as a family and celebrate. They told us NO because they dont allow partys of ANY KIND! Ive emailed and texted to ask why they thought we would Party down.?...no response. Well be Partying with our 2 year old somewhere else!

We had a wonderful time and my husband caught several large channel catfish!

The owners here are second to none when it comes to making sure youre taken care of. Good prices for great cabins and a friendly family atmosphere should make this your top choice when you need a getaway..or a place to stay for working out of town.

My family had a blast!! The kids enjoyed the lake the house was very nice with everything you need in a home. The neighbors and the owner wave and speak but stay out your business. The only time the owner came over is when my daddy parked in the yard over the septic tank.( great place for some alone time or family time) My family will definitely return......
