Decent cut, but the computers were down so I paid cash. $35 hair cut and trim, paid with $100 and said just give me $50 back and keep the change. Over 40% tip so I thought that was pretty good. Then the guy started doing some roundabout 1st grade math and only gave me $40 back. I said it should be $50 multiple times before I got tired of arguing and just left. If you need the $10 that bad then keep it, I just won’t be back if you’re gonna steal my money. 2 cuts and I would’ve given him $30 in tips, now he’s getting $25 and not returning. Would’ve paid better to just not be a thief.

Usually with small town traditional barbershops like this, I’ve found the options for cuts are often limited and getting what you’re looking for is hit or miss…but not with this place. Mike did a great job with my fade and gave me exactly what I was looking for, for a reasonable price. Will be returning! Thanks Mike 👌🏻

Cool building,thats about it,took my boy to get his hair cut,walked in,no greeting,sat for 20 minutes for a guy to come in and say there appointment only,I told him he may wanna take the walk in welcome sign down if Thats the case,then says well we do but there are just two of us today,so with that being said we left,found another shop that did great with my boys hair,and will not be back to a mans place nor will I tell anyone else to go there!

Its a small business with small business issues. Speedy they are not, cheap they are not. So are they worth it...? You either will be happy or not. This place is quirky, and a car garage junkie mini dream. The interior decorator had some fantasy to develop a 50sish garage with white wall tire mirrors to tool box holders for the stylists cutting utensils. I like the entrance using a faux mg as a hosting desk. I suggest you call in and get a time because the sitting area is small, just like there parking area can only handle four vehicles.

I had Zach, he was great and did a good job on the style I wanted. Love the inside plus while you wait theres plenty to read, free coffee and twizzlers. The price over all was pretty fair and the country music was good too. Very clean.

Ive come here a couple times and this barber is great! Always come away looking my best and I personally love the straight razor finish. Its also safe and sanitary during this pandemic. Emily was great on my last visit and all staff are always friendly and courteous. Highly recommend!

They have such a great atmosphere and cool design to the shop. They are also great at haircuts whenever I asked for a specific style they did it and did it good. They are nice people and good at what they do.

Ive worked with Paul on several occasions and threes a charm. I can be very particular and I like to use the same barber. After three tries, the second was my fault, I think Paul and I are speaking the same language. GREAT HAIRCUT! I would definitely recommend Paul, just dont get him on a roll. I had an appointment with Emily Lovins and she did an incredible job was incredibly professional, offered the best cut Ive ever got. I would absolutely recommend anyone scheduling an appointment with her you will not regret it.

Terrible customer service to say the least, walk in and not a single greeting or idea of how long of a wait it would be (considered not long since I was the only one in the lobby) sat in lobby for over an hour watching guest assuming appointments go before me before anyone acknowledged I was there just to let me know that it would be another wait. I understand that they take appointments but if that’s not going to leave any room for walk ins in between cuts then don’t hang a sign up in your windows that says walk in are welcome because apparently they’re not unless you’re willing to spend half your day here waiting. Definitely will not be back as I don’t want to sit around for another 2 hours just for a haircut.

I’ve taken my son here for haircuts 3 or 4 times now. They are always 20-30 min late, even with an appointment. The haircuts are good quality, though a little pricey. But the wait times are not worth it for us anymore.

Its sad when your appointment cant be done and noone calls to tell you anything.. I drive 30 mins to get my sons hair cut. I understand that things happen but at least be courteous to your customers that make appointments to let them know something has come up and you cant be seen..

The barbers here are great. Its a cool atmosphere too. There can be a wait because of the awesome cut youll receive, so plan to sit and read a sports or car magazine for a few.

You dont want to drive past this place!!! I have a 100 times. My son set up haircuts for the wedding party and fathers for his wedding.I was blown away!! You have to visit to believe it. Got a haircut and a shave. The staff is incredible.

I went to A Mans Place for the first time today. It is a cool place but the haircut was not good at all. The young hair dresser could not do exactly what I wanted but stated he could get close enough. I dont know if I was his first person or if he has done this a long time but it was pretty bad and on top of that it was $23 for a hair cut. Thats outrageous. I will not be going back. I went to my normal location in Waynesville, the Village Barber Shop. Matt fixed it for me!

I scheduled an appointment for my son, showed up, and nobody else ever showed up. We sat outside for 20 minutes. I called and left a message. Never heard a word from them. They dont value new customers at all.

Had an appointment for my sons hair to be cut today at 9 AM. No one showed up waited until 9:15 no one showed no one called. Gave this place the benefit of the doubt and waited to hear back from them and no one has yet to reach out. Very unprofessional! No regards or care of other peoples time! Will not recommend this place to anyone and will do what I can to prevent as much business as possible from coming to here!
