I had a great first experience with Marlin’s. Phil and Marlin are very helpful and down to earth. When I called for an appointment, Phil clearly explained what the process would be, as well as the costs. My car was not safe to drive, so they let me use a loaner car until my car would be fixed.They fixed my car and it is such a relief that it is running properly and now I shouldn’t have any other issues. A few days after I got my car back, Marlin sent me a text to confirm everything was running smoothly. I really appreciate the outstanding customer service and how Marlin and Phil have gone above and beyond. I highly recommend their services.

First time customer here recently. They did oil/filter, cabin and air filter replacement as well as inspection. Costs were inline with my expectations. My Nissan Rogue Hybrid required 0W 20 oil which they knew ahead of time and did a great job. Will call again.

As a former mechanic, its tough to swallow ones pride and find an outside mechanic to work on the vehicles I would prefer to work on myself. My new traveling job doesnt allow the leisure of working on my own vehicles as much as Id like, but I found Marlins Auto Diagnostics online and was initially impressed with the calm respect that Phil had when I called to set up an appt. When I dropped my vehicle off, they treated me very well and made me feel the WARM & FUZZY we all would prefer when taking a chance on strange new things. Marlin showed me around his very tidy mechanic bays prior to working on my vehicle. I was extremely satisfied with, not only the service done to my vehicle, but the friendly communication that they maintained throughout the servicing. Ive never felt more confident about recommending Marlins to someone else and they have undoubtedly earned my business for future service work.

I have had good service done here before and I trusted your advice in what maintenance my car needed during my required inspection. Granted you did not pressure me into agreeing to the transmission flush, however I trusted in your advice to have this process done as part of general maintenance. To find later that the cost of $222.40 process was not recommended to be done on this car for at least another 40,000 miles. I know it is my responsibility to research need and cost before agreeing to have the work done, however I feel that you were not honest in even suggesting that this work to be done knowing how expensive this work is and it not needing to be done at this low millage! I am a widow and on a very fixed income,and trusted your garage to be honest . I really felt like a fool after bring a baked treat and thanking you for you help and kindness. I will be looking for another garage in the future as I feel I can not trust your service advice.

I’ve been to Marlin’s twice for some repairs and every time it has been nothing short of exemplary. The cost is moderately comparable to that of a dealership, with the additional invaluable one-on-one customer service. Tom at the desk is extremely personable and the entire staff is reliable, diligent, honest and meticulous with their work. True professionals.I make the 40 minute drive out to Marlin’s for a reason: they’re just simply the best.

This place was incredible, I went to 2 different shops and couldn’t find my problem for my check engine, Marlins’s ran a diagnostics, couple hours later car was fixed and inspected, oh and these people are so nice and professional, they made me feel like I’ve been going there for years, highly recommend them.

Just have to thank Marlins for a exceptional experience. We had a car not running and needed it repaired quickly. called marlins and was treated great, told I could drop car off immediately and they would do their best to get it done by the following day. Much to my surprise they called later that day to tell me car was repaired!!! wow couldnt ask for more! Car is now running great .They are extremely professional, place is very neat and clean, they really pulled me out of a bind !! thank you and I will be back with my car for future repairs!!

First time customer, Id say a 4.5 really. Had an issue with the AC in my car, I ended up overcharging the freon. Turns out it was a relay too. I had to come in twice for one issue, but they were very accommodating each time. Gave me a loaner while they did the initial repair, were very friendly, and followed up with a text to see how everything was. My only gripe is coming in multiple times (which may have been unavoidable anyway) and the text was oddly unwanted...? I wouldve like to been asked if I would like to receive a text rather than just get it. Maybe its just a new thing theyre doing. Overall, great place.

I was looking at a used vehicle at a dealership nearby. My issue was that I live over 500 miles away! Tom and team to the rescue!! I took my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee to Marlins Auto Diagnostics to fix my power door locks that had stopped working (after 19 years). Not only did they fix my doors, but they also fixed a vaccum leak and a leaking coolant hose. Phil answered all my questions and the total cost was below what I expected (a very pleasant surprise). I had a nice chat with the mechanic that worked on my car. He pointed out a couple of critical things I needed to pay attention to with an older Jeep. Great customer service, friendly crew, and excellent tradecraft! Well definitely be taking our family vehicles to Marlins.

No one plans on their car breaking down. Nor is it a very pleasurable experience experience. Not only did Marlins do a great job finding and fixing the problem. But they also were so helpful with everything from finding a good tow company to accommodating me with a loaner car. Great customer service and non pushy when it comes to up sales. Definitely now my go to place for all my mechanical needs.

They good but somethings up

I been going to Martins for a couple of years and I would recommend his garage because they are honest. They will call you if you need anything out of the ordinary.

Not too happy with this place. The customer service was great except for the fact that they kept calling me kate even though i identified myself each time i called to check up with them and the fact that my registration and the debit card i payed with have my actual first name (literally just k) on them. I called to make an appointment, they said i didnt need one and to just drop it off. So i did but they took forever to get back to me about what the problem was with my car. Which i get because like i said i didnt have an appointment. But when they did finally call me i was quoted around $600. I called somewhere else for a second opinion and was quoted $400 but they couldnt take me right away. I had my repair done at Marlins and upon looking at the report i was charged $358 for 1.5 hours of labor plus an additional $89 for the diagnosis. And that was including the new customer discount. I wouldnt choose this place for any more repairs other than an oil change or inspection.

Seems like a good place. A bit expensive, but perhaps their level of service is also higher. Time will tell.

I cant comment too highly on the quality of service from Marlins. When I broke down on my way from Dayton to NYC late on a Friday afternoon, they were the only place I could find still open. They were still there when the tow truck dropped my car off at about 5.30. When I returned on Monday morning, knowing that I had a long drive to get home, they got straight to fixing my car. They had the car diagnosed, spares received, car repaired and me on the road before lunchtime. They also picked me up from in Lebanon when I dropped my hire car back and loaned me a car so I didnt have to sit around the shop waiting. They also did a quick check of the car, making sure things like the spare tire was inflated. Finally they gave me a calendar which I have hanging at work.

Horrible experience it takes like 4 visits to get this gigantic bill thats a bunch of crap. they told me because my timing belt went at 3 mph that my head gaskets were gone and then added so much they sent me a estimate for 3,000, I argued the matter and ended up getting my side mirror broke and many more things done, I will be filing a lawsuit on this and they now changed the bill to probably needs on certain things because they knew telling a young single mother on disability a bunch of lies was wrong. I could go on and on, but in the long run they even gave me issues on getting my own vehicle back, mind you all that is wrong with the vehicle is a TIMING BELT, THEY ARE COMPLETE SCAMMERS THEY PRETEND TO BE VERY RELIGIOUS BUT THEY SWORE AT ME AND LAUGHED AT ME CRYING . I will never go back here and highly recommend others to also stay away, they get you with their free loner car too its so convenient but thats their twisted way of getting you to feel like you can trust them until they try and steal your money . they electrical taped my side mirrow that they broke, seriously, we are speaking about a 2004 Chrysler 200m special edition its not that bad of a vehicle at all. I pray no body else goes through this, hope this helps ! goodluck
