Im a frequent client of Jack Brown Cleaners in Leander. Their excellent customer service is exceeded only by the quality of their dry cleaning.They also do alterations. Youll receive a text when your clothing is ready to pick up. You may drop off dry cleaning with your name and phone number to save time.

This place should be ashamed to call themselves a cleaner. The lady at the counter is rude and condescending. A cleaners should be able to launder a machine washable king comforter; dry clean a mans suit; and dry clean a womans dress, shawl, and jacket. Upon arrival I was rudely told the clothes were to dirty to clean and that they dont accept things covered in dog hair. My clothes did have some cat hair, but nothing a lint roller wouldnt get right off. I told her they had cleaned them all before and she stormed off to make a ticket, like I was harassing her.When she walked back, I mentioned the other bag I was carrying had a comforter. You could tell she didnt want to take the comforter, and thought she would get to refuse it for not having a care tag. It does have its care tag and can be washed and dried in a normal washer. If it were not January and the middle of cedar juniper season, I would have washed it myself, like I had a hundred times before and put it on the line to dry and I told her so. She asked what was wrong with it, and I sad a cat had a hairball on it. We pulled it out and I showed her the less than 1 x 3 spot left. She reluctantly took it.A week later, I go to pick up my too dirty clothes and find they failed to attempt to wash the comforter. They didnt attempt to clean it. This is why they should be ashamed to call themselves a cleaner. I have had cleaners get cat urine out of suede leather. Any real cleaner would say, well that is gonna take some extra work, so it will cost $$ more. This place is too busy to launder anything that isnt already pristine and not in need of a cleaning. It is just to much work to take a comforter and put it in a washing machine. One trip through my washer and it was good as new.And the prices are too high for the dry cleaning of clothes. $55+ for the clothes is ridiculous.

I have begun recently going to Jack Brown Cleaners in Leander. Ive been there 4 times and each time I have had a good experience granted one of them was about 60 seconds of picking up clothes. The service was very fast and drop off pick up easy. At one point I very much needed to pick up clothes and cannot make it there in time. On that occasion my items for put into a locker that was accessible after hours using a passcode that the lady behind the counter gave me.I have normally used cleaners from a different area so I dont know how to compare pricing. I believe that pricing at all of the local cleaners are far too high especially on simple mens pants. However these cleaners are competitive with other establishments within roughly twenty miles that I could see ( I called six of them).I recommend this establishment.

Although the staff were nice when dropping clothes off and picking them up the problem is with the cleanliness of the clothes that we received back and the establishment itself. The down comforter when picked up smelled of cigarette smell and mildew. Not clean at all. We had to take the comforter down the road for a good clean. The whole place smells like smoke. Unfortunately that made the product not good for us.

The manager is extremely rude. I was talking to my elderly grandmother on the phone whom is very ill, and she said the the young lady waiting on me “Next time, do not wait on rude customers who are on the phone”. I’m not saying that I was right by being on the phone and doing business the manner in which I did. But the manager could have handled that much differently and waited for me to leave. You don’t know other people’s situations and she did what she did purposely so that I could hear her. I will never go back there and anyone I have spoken to, I’ve told to never do business there.

This store has been under new management since March, so please disregard any comments prior to that. Come on in and you will be pleased!

Terrible customer service. No flexibility and no attempt to create a pleasant customer experience. The place smells cigarettes which is not appropriate for a dry-cleaning facility and the manager is rude to customers.

Betty provides excellent service and always has a smile on her face. She is the main reason i keep coming back. If something is not correct or a button is missing she gets it taken care of. Thank uou Betty.

I took my two down comforters there and a few of my husbands shirts to be laundered and starched. I chose the wrong cleaners!!! Not only did they not launder my husbands shirts first, they pressed horrible wrinkles into the clothes and failed to iron them back out. They also kept my brand new heavy duty storage bags for the comforters and failed to give them back to me after I repeatedly asked them for them. They wont even comp the price for theft!If you want bad results, then this is the place to try!

So I randomly stopped by another cleaners shop that tailored clothes, I had a wool pair of pants that I ordered some time back and had gotten the wrong size(through no fault of my own) hanging in my closet for months, because I couldn’t wear them as the pants were probably a 38/40 and my waist size is a 32 or 33 haha. So I stopped by to randomly ask if they could fit them and I was already skeptical cause every other place had refused and said it would never work. But she said she could probably get them to a 36, I said however much you need to take off please do as their unwearable now and useless so as close as you can get it. I got them back in 2 days which was astonishing as every other place said 7-10 days for modifications, and what’s more astonishing is they fit perfectly! From a 38 or 40 down to a 32 waist and they look like theyve never been touched! You guys are amazing! I’ll definitely bring every pair of anything I’ve got to you guys for modifications! Made my whole week not just my day. You guys rock!

This scumbag had the nerve to tell me, We dont accept soiled clothes... health reasons. This Mensa works around hazardous chemicals all day and wont accept soiled clothes for health reasons... God Almighty, I wish I was making this up. Ok, genius, Ill take it down to Village Cleaners five minutes down the road. They accepted it no problems whatsoever. USE VILLAGE CLEANERS @ CRYSTAL FALLS & 183 -- AVOID THESE MORONS.
