I usually go to la fitness at Missouri city. But this LA in league city is easily the cleanest one I have been too!! With better and working machines.

Wow! The cleanest and friendliest gym I’ve ever been to..and i travel a lot! From the moment I walked in, everyone was so warm and inviting! The equipment and bathrooms were spotless.

I went there yesterday, and it was great, the people there are really nice and helpful.

This facility is very well maintained and staffed. The pool and jacuzzi area are always clean and operational. A very good selection of weight and aerobic equipment available and seldom any waiting for equipment or machines. I was helped by Nik, who was very professional and courteous. Absolutely the best bang for your buck in the Houston area.

I’ve finally found an instructor that is motivating & encouraging- Colleen G @ the League City location. She has pushed me to step out of my comfort zone & try new group classes. Colleen even coaxed me to try cycling classes & I’m consistently attaining new goals!!

LA Fitness has been a go to spot for me for ten years while being in and out of League City and is always a great facility for any of your health and fitness needs. Nick in management does an amazing job of making sure you have the best experience possible, followed by a very impressive staff of trainers.

Woman at front desk ignored me while I stood in the front. Late 20’s long dark hair was told she was operations manager.I walked into the facility and the woman at the front just stared at me and turned back around. I then walked over to her and stood in front of her and was still ignored. I decided to introduce myself and ask her to tell me about the facility so I could join. At that point she turned around and asked someone else to assist me and never said a word to me. I was informed she was the operations manager which is shocking considering the lack of people / communication skills. I guess this is the service you get when the owners only hire you because you are family and not actually qualified. Do better.

Great environment, Nik the Gm took great care of me. My first time here and was given great customer care and was greeted as soon as I came in.

Clean gym, not crowded because they have tons of machines, always staff cleaning, cleaning supply vis accessible so you can clean your machine before/after, staff is friendly!

Great place to work out. Supportive staff that communicate/book well. Facilities are great. Will definitely be back to visit next time Im in the area!

Great gym! Its about my 3rd year and counting going to this gym to train and its by far one of the better ones out there. Great staff, just about enough equipment to satisfy your general work-out needs, and overall great environment.Probably the best time to attend is at opening (5am on weekdays) and or near closing. I personally attend at opening times just because crowd size is at a minimum compared to the other hours. - often 10-15 people max within the 1st hour.

My husband and I started here in January of 2021 and we have had a wonderful time in the gym. Everyone here is super helpful especially Nik Lowry and their end goal is to help us achieve our health goal.

The new manager Nik Lowery is excellent! Under his management my local club has improved measurably by every metric, and both he and his assistants Jason, Shelby and Kim are all very helpful. Im quite pleased with my membership, and expect to keep it permanently active.

Wide variety of machines, with plenty of free weights also. A great gym for the casual lifter as well as bodybuilders and powerlifters. Rarely ever gets too crowded. All the employees are friendly and eager to help!

We just went in and Sadie help us with a membership and she was amazing!! So kind and helpful. Very easy to work with and no pressure at all. Thank you Sadie!! Fantastic experience!!

Yesterday was my first day so I’m still finding my way around. But I went in to try it out first cause I was looking for a new gym. Nik let me try it out, and then helped me sign up for my membership after I worked out. He was SUPER helpful and made it easy. I got a great first impression of the gym, clean, nice, and the biggest thing: available equipment. Can’t say enough positive about Nik and how cool and helpful he was. Highly recommend

James is a great trainer, if you want to take it to the next level or even from a beginner’s starting point - he’s your guy. Justin, Matt, Nick, Shelby are all great and friendly, and always say hello and make you feel right at home. Great facility and great people. Can’t beat that.

I had a hard time finding the perfect gym when I came across LA Fitness. Nikolas was very helpful, very professional and was able to get me set up right away. He also gave me a quick tour of the place and had great advice on workouts! They have plenty of sanitary stations, which is a plus. 10/10 would recommend.

Highly recommend this location. I dealt with the GM, Nik, who went out of his way to get me a visitors pass while I was visiting from out of town. He was very accommodating and let me come into the gym early and work out before meeting with him. The gym was clean and well maintained. I would definitely go back.

I had a very good experience when I visit Gym the gym the first time and have come back everyday since. Very sanitary. Nikolas Lowry was the person that helped us. He was extremely polite and straight forward. He doesn’t confuse you at all, he’s not impatient he gave us a tour and a very good deal. I highly recommend to ask for nick when u visit the gym you won’t regret it

I went in to get a trial pass a month ago and they just wouldnt stop talking and trying to convince me to get a membership right then and there! Like the whole reason to get a trial pass was to see if I like it there!They do not wear masks and do not require masks. Everyone has no mask and there isnt any sanitizing equipment around!! I would not want to be in a dirty place like that.

This LA Fitness is falling apart. I just signed a 2 year contract and am regretting it. There are multiple pieces of equipment that have been tagged out of service for over 2 months. The ceiling leaks when it rains. The AC does not work well and it is always very humid inside.

I only use this place for Amazon deliveries. The receptionist was polite and it looked like the gym was well maintained and clean.

The staff is great. Nick the GM so helpful on everything. He will work with you on getting you set up with the right membership for you and your needs. Matt the fitness trainer is awesome also. He knows so much about your bodys muscles and what to do to relieve tension on them.Upset that u left the gym but i will be back.

Nik at this LA Fitness location took great care of me. Helped me sign up some friends and family members and treated me with the utmost respect. Great customer service at its finest!!

Nick and Justin have upgraded the entire club with a feeling whether you’re new or have lots of experience you feel welcome and a feeling of belonging!

Nik went out of his way to make sure I had a place to workout for the two weeks I was in Texas.

Great environment to work out and relieve the days stress. I have overheard some of the staff speak down to their cleaning crew but other than that no complaints. Work place drama lol. But the cleaning crew in the afternoon show they are on top of their job and I feel very safe going. Great job Zach and Karen on making us feel safe to go!!!

Clean restrooms friendly staff especially Matt he remembers his customers by name and always greets them that is very commendable as a customer

Although the facility is nice, their prices are way too high for some personal trainers because they’ll charge you for a master trainer but give you a regular one or someone who just started with them. Some trainers are titled master trainers but in actuality there are not nor have the experience.

It’s clean, all machines are working and everyone is friendly.

Everything is great with the gym but very outdated equipment

Highs: I called in around Jan 9th and Shelby answered the phone. I had questions about a membership and their specific club’s amenities and covid policies. Shelby was helpful. She even gave me information about the club that I didn’t think to ask. It was encouraging and culturally unusual to have someone take the time and courtesy to practice customer service. Once at the club Justin got me signed up and took me for a tour. He was friendly and professional.Amenities: Showers have a general use soap dispenser. Guessing it’s formulated for body and hair.Free lockers to use in locker room.Showers are clean, tidy, and heat up fast.It looked like men and women have their own saunas.Water fountains and bottle filling station is present.Medium: For anyone who has noise preferences, music can be played aloud by any individual and there is no volume cap to lifting grunts (not sure what else to call those! Haha.)Also, be sure to bring your own lock for the locker room lockers.Low: The club looked and smelt clean, however there was toilet paper strewn across the floor in one stall and a couple of signs (one “out of order”) haphazardly written and taped to stall doors. Small, super easy fixes! Locker room, lockers and bathroom smelt clean.

Lied straight up. 1 person told my aunt that they kept the pool at a certain temperature and when her and my mom tried to go swim it was too cold for my either of them to tolerate to even get in and swim laps. When asked someone told them its always at like 76 degrees (way colder temp than what was originally told to them) How can you have seniors in water that cold. I get it because I swim laps but if its too cold to get into to even start laps or exercise for older ppl whats the point. I was just going to cancel my moms membership (my aunt cancelled hers after one trip) and trued to call the facility to talk cancel my moms...still leaving mine but no one would answer. I spent over an HOUR waiting for someone to answer the phones then finally called the number on my bank statement to cancel BOTH our accounts. If my call isnt important enough to answer then youre not getting my money.I was also told with the plan we signed up with that I wouldnt have yearly membership fees....guess what that was a lie because I got billed for a yearly membership and told everyone has to pay yearly membership dues. It may be a nice gym but its operations are shady!

Needed this place open when in quarantine. Keep better watch of people not going to workout, just to socialize and just stays sitting in a machine when others needs to use.Saw someone almost remove a sign from a treadmill because the person wasnt paying attention that can use the machine due to social distancing.The touch free sign in, hand sanitizer and antiseptic spray bottles really do the trick to keep the place clean. It takes long to do the workout but better safe than sorry.

Dude at the front office tried to run me out my money and there was no adult present. 😂😂Worse than a car dealership.

I have been attending this Gym for almost a year now and only recently have i looked forward to coming in everyday, because Nik Lowry, the new G.M. ALWAYS greets me at the door with some sort of salutation. This simple gesture has made all the difference in my appreciation of my membership at the club. Thank you Nik, you rock!

I’ve been going here for almost 2 months after the quarantine shutdown. I’ve had no issues at all. Gym is always clean & staff is pretty nice as well. Easily one of the best LA Fitness I’ve gone to in all of Houston.

I visited the league city LA fitness. It was not my regular gym,but I gave it a shot. Upon entering a energetic and upbeat guy aptoched me. His name was nick Lowry, he said he was the general manager.he was attentive and courteous. He made sure I was enjoying my experience. He went above and beyond to make my visit a absolute pleasure. I will recomend this gym and nick Lowry to all my family and friends. I not only got a good sweat in, but I added a person to my list of friends. Thanks nick.

Absolutely the best LA Fitness I have been to. Staff is all very friendly, but more importantly the staff keeps the gym clean and nice. They spend time re-racking weights which seems to help with members following the trend and putting their weights up as well. I have always done this myself it was just how I learned gym etiquette. If you have had a bad experience at LA Fitness previously try this location you will see it is night and day from the others. All starts with management and staff

This gym has great prices for all it offers. Large facilities, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, his and hers locker area and showers, racket ball, long list of classes (included in my plans price), punching bags, basketball and volleyball game area. Nicely maintain center and equipment. Super clean. I never had to wait for the equipment.Trainers are great, experience and knowledgeable (They are worth the extra money. )Yes, they have a large nice and clean children area. I am unsure of prices for that service. This gym definitely has the WOW factor covered. I am sure I missed something 10/10

Average type facility.

My family has been coming here since they first opened. My son loves the swimming pool, and I love the bootcamp class. However Ive never seen the treadmills in such sad state. Two nights ago I counted half of the treadmills either not working, or partially working. Sometimes an out-of-order note would be posted on the machine and sometimes people have to find out on their own one by one. The management team needs to care more about the up-keeping of their gym.A couple of weeks after I posted my (3 stars) review above, my son and I came in one night and found all new treadmills! That was a nice surprise. A couple nights ago I observed an employee showing the regular cleaning staff how to scrub and clean all the different machines upstairs. They could also keep the stairs and floor clean as sometimes it looks like it could use a mopping. But they seem to be trying to maintain the place lately. Love it!

I love this gym compared to 24hr Fitness in League City, Friendswood, and Bay Area. Those gyms are dirty compared to this place. I visited Fitness Connection and Cruch too, but I didnt like how packed it was and the way I felt I was going to workout in a McDonalds play pin due to all the orange, red, and yellow colors. LA Fitness looks like its for adults and is very clean and nice looking.

My husband and I just signed up to start using this gym, since we just moved to the area. It looks clean and organized. The staff seems professional and courteous. My husband has already started working out there, and he loves it. I am looking forward to being able to take a few classes as well. Looks like everything one would want in a gym

I wish I could give half a star. While I would say the gym is satisfactory (at best) in equipment the lies and run-around we have received from sales and management is absolutely horrible.If the sales rep tells you they will provide discounts to incentivize signing up, they will not hold to their commitments. We have called several times for a refund on the annual fee in which we were told would be waived the first year.We have heard a dozen “can’t find the manager” or “I’ll call you back ASAP” to not hear back from anyone.I am utterly disappointed and have never been treated with such disregard at any gym before.As a person who has worked in customer service I try to be understanding, but the complete lack of honesty and communication is too much.

Excellent, clean facility. It is very well kept, and equipment is always up to date.The only thing I wish theyd improve is the childcare center. There is nothing in there to entertain the children. I believe they used to have a play house in there, but it is no longer there. My kids hate going there now because theyre bored there. So, in turn Im paying for the childcare, but using it 1-2 times a month when my wife and I choose to workout together.

LA Fitness is awesome. Love to get a work out in and the the people there are amazing. All in all I love the place.💪😉💯

Great Club. Not very busy in the early mornings!

I asked for a personal trainer on three different occasions and “nobody was available”. The morning classes were fun and those trainers were very knowledgeable and fun. The rest of the staff was not unavailable to teach machines. No sense of community. Unless you know what you’re doing, you will become discouraged as a beginner.

Friendly staff and gym members. Sparkling clean gym. I spoke with Robbie and Francis. Both men were proper gentlemen while discussing a membership. The only issue I had was their opening hours on weekends is 8am. If that isnt a problem - I highly recommend this place.
