Take this review from an IT guy. I’ve even repaired phones. Came in here when my daughter’s phone wouldn’t boot or charge. The man running the place was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. He gave us our best and worst case scenarios and pricing for each.Keep in mind that I have insurance on the phone. After talking with him for a few minutes, I knew I’d rather use his services than even mess with insurance.The phone was ready the next day and works great! Perfect service in every way.

Another one of those fantastic small businesses in which you will likely be taken care of by the owner. I was needing a battery replacement for my Moto z2 which apparently no one uses any more. He had to order the part and was excellent in communicating along the process. Once the battery arrived I returned the phone to him and he replaced it immediately. If you arent familiar with Motorola phones the batteries arent really designed to be replaced. They have to be a accessed from the front after removing the glass. Not a DIY procedure. Great job, works perfectly.

I sent an email quote on Sunday before Labor Day. Jon Emailed me on Labor Day and quoted me a price for a charge port replacement. Told me to come in and he would fix it for me. I sat there and waited while he repaired my port. He quoted me an hour time limit which in reality was only 20 minutes. Excellent job, great customer service. Would definitely go see him again.

Mobile Device Rescue quickly got my Ipad fixed and they did a quality job. The final cost was half of what they had quoted due to the screen required was cheaper than thought. They could have charged me the quoted amount and I would have never known the difference.

Amazing! My wife sent her S5 through the wash machine. The screen was cracked and black with a lock on the phone and no data back up. I did what everyone does, I put it in rice for days and it did turn on and have life but with the lock on and a dead screen nothing else worked. When I got here the new phone At&T said that there was no way to get any data or information off the phone. They were wrong, Matt had all the contacts, calenders, notes & important information on the new phone within 45 minutes and for a more than reasonable price.

Installed a faulty battery. He told me it might be a motherboard issue which would have to be shipped out of house and cost over $100...Im sure he meant well! Really honest and approachable guy. I ended up going somewhere else expecting a bigger issue, but I was showed that the battery that was installed was the only issue.Also, when I tried to go back during normal business hours (maybe 11am on a weekday) the store was very closed

My relatively new I-phone 6 plus slipped out of my hand and dropped to the concrete. Shattered screen held together only by the screen protector overlay. I have met my new best friends in the Clear Lake/Bay Area at Mobile Device Rescue. I filled out their online form and texted it to them. I had a quote and directions to the shop within five minutes. Once there, the repair took less than thirty minutes, while I waited in a comfortable waiting room. Brought in IPAD to replace screen. Screen was replaced however the LCD was scratched and screen had a faulty digitizer which causes the IPAD to ghost. Brought back IPAD and was told that he didnt see the ghosting. Took the iPad to another place (which they confirmed the ghosting and faulty digitizer and messed up LCD and THEY corrected. IPAD work perfect now...just beware for 129$ repair youd expect it done properly.

Jon was quick and up front about any and all issues that could be possible after fixing my screen lightning fast. Did not put on a timer but couldnt have been more than 15-20 mins to fix my completely destroyed iphone 6 screen. Will def use him again if need be and will send anyone I know his way. Great Guy

Awesome service. If you do not realize how much of your life is tied up in your mobile device have the screen fail and you will get a rude awaking. Also, with the replacement cost of new devices not being offered in new phone plans it can be extremely costly to replace your phone and in my case only about half effective. Mobile Device Rescue was quick and competent. Within an hour I had my device back and in working order. I just wish I had started with them when my device first failed. I highly recommend this service and have already let my friends and family know about them.

I needed to replace the battery in my 2+ year old Moto Z Play and Mobile Device Rescue gave me a fair price quote over the phone. I brought my phone in on a Saturday to do a same-day repair, but the glass screen cracked as it was being removed. MDR replaced the glass free of charge, but I was without that phone for a couple days as the part had to be ordered. I had a recently retired phone that I transferred my SIM card in to get me by.Very fair pricing, work is done onsite. Ill be back if I need another phone or tablet battery or cracked screen replacement.

Jon repaired my iPads screen after it broke from a drop. The corners of the metal case were banged up but proved to be no problem to fix for him too. I had a shattered screen on my iPhone 5s. He had the screen in stock and the price is cheaper than apple. I went on a weekday morning so it took half the time he quoted (20-30 min). He tested everything from the cameras to the calling capabilities when he was finished. He even was able to bend out the corner of my phone where I dropped it so the screen would fit right and not break. I was thinking of buying one of those kits to replace the screen but I am glad I choose this pro to do it instead.

I had 2 iPad screens replaced here. Both cracked within weeks of being replaced under minimal wear and tear. One of the iPad screens even cracked while in an otter box on a low impact fall, the other started cracking without being dropped. I called to see about a warranty, none was in place for damage....just defects. The problem is that the screens were so cheap that damage was guaranteed. I can only speculate, but I believe the screens used by this business are the cheapest available and then sold for $100+ with the replacement. We paid $250 to have our screens repaired and are right back where we started. Save yourself the trouble and just pay for Apple Care and have screens replaced by the manufacturer.The owners response is bogus. He must have me confused with someone else. The cost I posted is straight from my credit card statement and i absolutely did not threaten a bad review. I still have the text message exchange. This bad review is purely based upon the poor product that I received.

My LG G3 was having screen issues. Jon ordered the parts and replaced the screen, but it turned out to not be an issue with the display. Jon put on my original screen and returned my phone at no charge since he couldn’t fix the issue. How many places would do that? Additionally, he researched the issue and provided me some information on others having a similar issue ad that LG would likely replace the phone.

My repair did not go as planned. Two visits and a few hours later what was an iPad with white-framed cracked glass is now an iPad with noticeably inferior black-framed glass that flexes and sounds of grating glass and a Home button that is permanently pressed.The owner did provide a refund however but not after I texted him with my concerns but rather after I posted my honest (negative) review of my experience.It then seemed that he was more interested in the elimination of the negative review than doing what it takes to reverse a negative customer experience. Honestly providing good customer service would actually do far more his business. Bad things do happen, but concentrating ones efforts on masking those situations rather than going well above and beyond to rectify them is bad business.In my business, what Ive done in similar situations is refund the customers money (because they didnt get what they paid for) AND solve the problem correctly or arrange for that to happen. Yes that would mean on this transaction there would be a modest financial loss, but without doing this the loss would be on the customers end - a loss of time. Thats not acceptable.When something goes wrong in a business transaction a good business does EVERYTHING they can to make it right for the customer. A mere refund is a given. A truly good business, one that is legitimately interested in customer service would see that without being told and then show their true value with how much they offer to do beyond that.Here, there was a bad experience that was actually followed by another, thus the TWO visits and a need for a THIRD since the iPad remains in a state a disrepair. The refund had to be requested and was only provided upon the discovery of negative reviews. No plausible solutions were offered.Sorry, that just wont cut it.
