Let them replace the things, and their service is outstanding! They did some major electrical and HVAC at my home. Ive had to call them back out for minor repairs. Theyre fast, easy to work with, and go the extra 17 miles to service my equipment.:-) I am happy to be a customer, and while I love having yall here, I hope we dont meet often .

Really nice service crew. They had issues removing a part. 30 min job is turning into a 3 day job. Still not complete. Hopefully it will be done today. Update: the technician called in sick. Now stuck till Monday. Hopefully its not Covid he didnt wear a mask in my house. They still have half the money.

Lance is amazing and helped me when the gas company cut the main power line to my house. Lance took care of everything with the city of Houston (permits, contacting, etc) and got the city off their duff and install the new power line. All of this was during the hot summer months. Lance also did work at my parents house, replacing items, upgraded the electrical panel and helped repair some items when we sold their house. I will only use Bobs They are trustworthy, onetime, and I know the work will be done correctly.

Called them to come check my ac system that they installed some time ago but was under warranty. No hesitation on their part. They came out within hours,checked it and found a small leak in my outside condenser. Repaired it and all is good.The technician was very nice and professional. You can tell the integrity of a company when they promptly come out for a free warranty repair and handle it with no hassles. I highly recommend them for ac and electrical work. Top notch company and locally owned and operated.

Great guy checked out everything found 2 problems was able to fix both...not cheap, but has to be done to help extend life of my sysyem. Little trouble with scheduling on wrong day, but it was quickly fixed. Best AC company Ive used in years!

Used them to do some electrical work on my break box and run some circuits. Great service and reasonable price

Had them replace inside unit and duct and vents in the attic. Had some issues after install and after I had sheetrock done. Vents started damaging sheet rock after a few months of humid weather. Called them up they corrected the issue and payed to have sheet rock redone. I appreciate they corrected the issue without any dispute or trying to charge us extra. There is something to be said about contractors standing behind their work. Regardless if an oversight or mistake was made because it can happen. Not having to argue or stress about it getting fixed was great.

600 to replace my refrigerant. The quote to replace my evaporator coil was also extremely over priced.

Semi-annual maintenance is important and so is what they can do beyond that. You ask about a vent over the dryer and an external exhaust for the dryer in the garage and they make it look like it was built with the house. You ask about air quality and talk about Ionizers and Air Scrubbers and they can install that in also!

I have used Bob’s AC in the past and that is why I contacted them for a current issue with my AC unit, which turned out to be a simple fix. The technician who came to my house was very professional and friendly. When I asked about the bill, he informed me there is an $89 call out fee added to the bill. I was surprised that I was not informed about this charge over the phone before the technician was sent to my house.When I called the office later, I asked the employee who answered the phone why I was not informed of the charge. She gave me no real answer and then proceeded to tell me the fee is not a call out fee but a diagnostic fee.I feel whether the fee is termed a call out fee or a diagnostic fee, either way, I should have been informed of the fee in advance. Next time, I will shop around. She informed me she will let the manager know about my concerns. Let’s see if they contact me regarding this issue.

Ive been using Bobs for over a decade now. They maintained my old HVAC system and then did a full system install 9 years ago, as well as maintenance and repairs since then. They ARE a bit pricy but theyre good people and I trust their work. The techs always answer all my tedious questions and give suggestions for how to maintain the system myself.

My HVAC died on Wednesday PM 😰I live in Houston Texas area.So, it’s hot 🥵.Called “BOB’s Air Conditioning” on Thursday AM.The service technician arrived within the hour of my call, pronounced my 35 + year old HVAC system dead.Replaced with new high efficiency system which was completed by 2:00 PM on SaturdayBob’s service went above and beyond got it done in a timely manner, neat, clean and cool.Love the service and great diagnostic and installation personnel.Thank you.

I found them when I was looking for a full HVAC replacement. They had been recommended to me by a friend that works in the HVAC industry. They ended up having the best warranty, service, and price for what they were offering.Later, I would use them again to install a new circuit for a tankless electric water heater. Lance and Jacob are the Batman and Robin of electrical work. They arrived in the Bobmobile, and did everything I needed done, neatly, efficiently, and at a fair price. These guys are great. Bobs has done several projects--electrical and HVAC--for me, and Ive been happy with all of them.

Bobs did a system check and recommended some repairs (new evaporator coil, etc.). The material was under warranty and the labor estimate was very reasonable. The work crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up well afterwards. The supervisor and crew answered all my questions and gave thorough explanations about the work they had done. I have used Bobs A/C for years and can recommend them without hesitation for both troubleshooting and repairs and new/replacement installations.

I called Bobs out to provide a second opinion on replacing a blower motor. The technician was helpful and the estimate was less than half of what the competition quoted. The work was completed in less time than expected. Highly recommended.

Bobs has done very good work for me in the past. My only gripe, and it isnt a biggie, is that Ive purchased a service contract for the year; an AC check in early summer and a furnace check in the late fall. I asked to schedule the fall visit during the spring visit, and I was told that I cannot do that. Apparently the company tried that before, and when they later called the customer in the fall, some of them thought it was a scam and gave Bobs grief. I get that. But people are different. If I ask to schedule my appointment ahead of time, Im going to put a reminder in my calendar, so Ill know that their call isnt a scam. Not only can I not schedule ahead of time, but they dont call later to setup the second appointment, so I have to remember to call them to set up the second appointment. If I forget, sorry! I also cant call further ahead than a month to setup the second appointment. If they could straighten out this little glitch, Id be even more satisfied.

Full a/c, heater and duct replacement. This is a big ticket $$$ to have this done. These guys without a doubt made this a confident purchase with the price and install crew that performed it. I got four local quotes and Bobs beat all of them.

We have used Surman Electric on 5 different occasions. 1. for new electrical box change out 2. for a rough out and final install of CAN lights during a renovation 3. Install patio/pergola outside fan + sockets 4. Install an independant socket from electrical box to the bathroom for the jet tub - Each time the job was done without issues, good quality and being reasonably priced. We have faith in their work and continue to use them for work on our rental properties.

Every time I call for service they respond in a timely fashion. The prices they have charged are always very competitive. Most of all their repairs or maintenance has been the best ever.To sum them up, using them will give you the most bang for your buck!

I was able to schedule an estimate near the end of the day. They had a written estimate to me within hours. The cost was better than other estimates I received for the same work. They scheduled the install within 10 days. I watched the install closely. They brought 4 workers which made the work go quickly. Everything was put together well and well sealed. The area was cleaned up as they went and when completed. They used the right procedures when recharging the system.

This place is worth the line! The best BBQ weve ever had! Parking is alittle crazy but the food makes up for that! Definitely will be back

We contacted Bob’s for issues with our electrical box. Their office staff was very friendly and was able to setup an appointment for that day. The technician (Lance) arrived on time and was able to diagnose the problem immediately, half the main breaker was blown. Lance was able to get full power restored to the house with a quick fix and recommended that we replace the panel box. There were able to provide a quote in less than 24 hours and was at a great price. We were scheduled for replacement a few days later and Lance completed all the work in just a couple hours. Plus we didn’t pay anything until all the work was complete. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing electrical work.

My mother bought AC years ago. Has had nothing but problems with unit. After replacing parts and filling with Freon discovered it was leaking more Freon. Going to charge $1500 for labor and part was under warranty. I called another company they replaced for $850 last July and I have never had another problem except for thermostat I purchased from Bobs that went out about year later. I feel like they took advantage of women. My lesson I guess but their loss

We purchased two complete systems, A/C & furnace, from Bobs last week. As scheduled they came yesterday to replace the two old systems. Yes, that day that started out at 34 degrees and got up to 44. Two crews came just before 9:00 A.M. in two pick-ups and a van. They first covered the floors from the front door to the attic stairs with tarps, then went to work. Over the next 5 hours these men completed all the change over with unbelievable efficiency. When they left at 2:00 P.M. you wouldnt have known any work had been done, except the house was getting warm again. I cant say enough about the professionalism of Bobs people and of doing business with Bobs. The Lennox equipment is good quality and mostly made here in Texas, the price was fair and everyone did what they said they would. You cant ask for much more.Don & Shirley Ware

Thank God for Bobs and a mild spring! When youre a/c goes out in Texas at the end of April, its time to panic! Called around a couple places and Doctor Cool told me I needed a new a/c with money I didnt have :( A friend referred me to Bobs and Holly, my service rep aka Wonder Woman, fixed my unit! No one had called me to schedule work in advance, is only negative I have and was probably just a lack of communication. Would definitely use again!!!!

Have used Bobs Air Conditioning since I had major AC issues back in 2014. They have always provided different options and explained things well to me. The ladies in the office are always helpful and polite. Antime there has been any issue with my system, Bobs always gets it taken care of immediately.

My sister used them a month ago for a leak on their unit. They “fixed” the leak, moved the drain pan, and did a few other things and left. About three weeks later her ceiling collapsed around 3am. We look up thru the hole to see water pouring from the unit.They send the guy back out and he “fixes” the unit and says a Sheetrock guy will be here tomorrow. The sheetrock guy shows up and scheduled the work. Well the Sheetrock guy finished today. He left a total mess, got paint all over the carpet, drapes, and stair railing, and The ceiling looks horrible! She asked me to call them as she is too upset to talk to them. To be continued......The supervisor never called. Instead the same Sheetrock guy that trashed the house called and said he was coming back. I called and spoke with Randy “the supervisor” and talked to me like he had been doing us a favor by calling the Sheetrock guy back, and if we weren’t good with that we could handle it on our own, and go from there. Totally devoid of any care or concern about the lost time at work, and the disaster they have made of the home.

Great Experience! We give Bobs A/C & Heating an A+++. We recently replaced our A/C units for our home and we replaced them with Lennox Units, the larger unit has a smart thermostat. A great deal of work was involved, not only replacing the actual outdoor units but the air handlers in the attic. Bobs showed up first thing in the morning with 8 professionals. They began by protecting our floors and walls, and worked to remove all of the old equipment. The new equipmet was installed and tested and by mid afternoon we were cooling again. My husband & I were pleasantly impressed with their professionalism and their smiling faces through the entire installation. Upon completion all debris were removed as if they had never been here. For stress free work on your heating and cooling call Bobs.

I only wish I could give 0 stars. I own three houses in Greater Houston so deal with several repair/construction companies. Without question, Bobs AC is the worst. They are several times more expensive then over companies. They always say you need a new unit or expensive replacement when the problem is fixed with a few inexpensive parts by other companies. To make matters worse, their customer sevice or lack there of is a joke. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Not completely happy with this company. They came to the house said my blower motor was good, but charged me $120.00 for a capacitor, only for the blower motor to go out that same day! It took 5 days for the motor to come in (glad we ordered it the same day they were out even though we were told we did not need it). They gave me a quote of $510.00 for the motor installed, but when it came in they charged $600.00 but he did take the $120.00 off for the capacitor charge the previous week.....so I really got $30.00 off the bill. Probably will not recommend them to anyone or use them ever again.Asked about the warranty for the motor and the installer did not know he had to call the parts house and the parts house did not know had to find out from somewhere and call the installer back.....humm I know I am NOT the only person to ever ask about a warranty...just be cautious when using this company.

I cant say enough good things about this place for both AC/Furnace repair and electrical work. Ive had to see a lot of these folks over the past 18 months, and they have always gone above and beyond what anyone would expect: James told me that I probably could replace my broken thermostat myself, and he was right! Lance was nice about fixing my attempt at DIY light-switch replacement and actually got on the phone to set a dubious appliance repairman straight for me. I cant remember the names of all the others weve had out, except for Holly, but they were all top-notch. Very reasonable prices, and they wont charge you to do work that doesnt need doing, and you wont have to wait around on them to show up. I was late getting home once and they actually waited for ME. Its great to have a go-to electrician / AC place. When we replace our AC and furnace and get our house rewired, were definitely going here. Great people; great service.

Bobs A/C installed a XP-25 at my home several weeks ago. The unit is amazing. Maintains temp to within a half degree of temperature setpoint and humidity setting. Variable speed compressor and air handler. This is the 2nd Lennox that Leigh has installed and I could not be happier.

Fixed tricky problem with overflow drainage.Had to use clorox and the vacuum pump over many iterations to fix the plug in overflow drainage pipe. Stayed with the problem until solved.

Dont believe the good reviews you read about Bobs A/C. More than likely theyre employees or relatives. We have a neighborhood website that we use for communicating the good, bad and ugly about a variety of things and companys. Heres the bad and ugly on Bob. Hey Bob, bad references travel fast and wide too......I just had another horrible experience with Bobs A/C. I have never seen a more dishonest company. They do not even honor things that they put into writing. I used them 6 years ago to install a new A/c and heater. My thermostat has gone out and my fan motor just went out. Their 10 year warranty means nothing. They made threats and would not leave my home. I even called Rheem and verified that the fan motor was under warranty and that Bobs would be reimbursed for the new part and labor. Bobs told me that they wanted $700.00 or my warranty would be voided. What a laugh as they werent honoring it anyway. What an awful, dishonest, and disreputable company. They should die of shame. The unit is only 6 years old. Beware of them!
