They were super rude over the phone when trying to fix an issue. The billing department lady was very clueless and didnt know what was going on. I would not recommend this place poor customer service.

I just had two fillings and a crown prep from Dr. Harris. In over 40 years of dental work, this is the first time I did not feel the least bit of pain. I love this dental office! They have always been kind to me and—more importantly—my children! Today, my four-year-old was a little afraid of getting her teeth checked, but Tammy the hygienist made her so comfortable and relaxed. Tammy made her laugh and even excited to have her teeth checked!They also do great work on teeth and gums, taking my concerns seriously and answering questions.

Great dental practice! The dentist took the time to show me (with pictures) what work needed to be done and what was more urgent than others. My favorite part was while checking out the receptionist new my insurance plan and detailed the work I needed done, the cost and what would be most advantageous with my insurance. Great experience. The down side was they are not up to date on their tech, I know there are better ways to do x-rays.

My dental cleaning was fast, efficient and the most pain free I have had compared to any other office I have been too. I like that the hygienist paid attention to detail, as my teeth have to last me a long time. They did ask if I wanted a fluoride treatment and it was a gel which I felt was better than a rinse. The equipment used I was very impressed with and better than any I have had experience with at any past offices. I plan on going back to this office because of the good communication between patient and doctor and the equipment. I personally had a good experience with all of the staff, receptionist, hygienist, clerks and Dr. Harris.I recommended to my daughter to take her 5 year old daughter here who didnt like dental visits. Dr. Harris was great with her. I know because my appointment was right after hers and I talked to her right after. Happy, smiling and a pleasant experience. No problems getting her to return for follow ups.The waiting area is nice and I noticed there is a childrens corner.Thank you Layton Family Dental from a very satisfied customer.

Dr. Harris was truly amazing with my son who isnt a big fan of getting shots. He and his assistant, whose name I cant remember sadly, were tremendous in being able to give him three shots without him even noticing. They were very professional and patient in getting the work done while keeping him calm and cooperative until they were finished approximately an hour later. I travel from Weber County to come to McMillan Dental, i know that me and my family will get the best care possible from a doctor who knows his trade and is always keeping up on the latest and best practices. Dr. Harris himself was very nice and professional, but that was the highlight of my three appointments at this office.The office itself is a bit outdated, rundown and has older equipment. Reception had some issues with billing and expected me to deal willing billing and insurance issues that no other dental office had ever expected me to deal with before.The dental assistant that cleaned my teeth took an incredibly long time. My cleaning took approximately two hours, just that, alone. She did explain a lot of the process to me, which was nice, but I was shocked at the time it took to do a cleaning.They also didnt offer me a fluoride rinse, which I didnt think about until I was leaving.When I came back for cavity fillings, they also took a really long time, and the dentist complained about the size of my mouth...which hasnt really happened to me before.Ill probably find a dental office that moves a bit quicker, more updated equipment and better customer/billing service.

McMillan Dental is an amazing office. Dr. Harris is so kind and patient. The staff here is amazing. I hadnt been to the dentist in years because of anxiety and embarrassment and not once did they make me feel embarrassed or shamed they just jumped right in and we made a plan and got to work. They made sure I felt comfortable and understood what was needing to be done and made sure I was at ease while I was in the chair. While Im still kind of nervous about dental work I dont have the same level of anxiety as I did before, I know I will be well taken care of here. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. I wont ever go anywhere else.

I am McMillan Dentals former dental hygienist and was not asked to write this review. Dr. Dave McMillan is a great dentist because he uses high quality materials to treat patients. There are plenty of dentists out there purchasing unregulated dental equipment from China or getting generic dental supply brands (think Equate or Kroger) to cut costs. He allows his staff to order what is needed and got quality materials to do the best job possible. He does so much research and even saved clippings of dental articles for me and coworkers to read about the latest and greatest. Dr. Dave is honest and cares about patients. He understands that dental work costs a lot, that patients dont want to do it, and it hurts, so if he tells you to get a crown or something major, you NEED it and its in your best interests to get it done. He takes his time on patients when hes doing treatment and refuses to work on too many people at once. You have his undivided attention. Because of his attention to detail, he will take longer to fix your teeth, but he will finish and it will be perfect. Also the office is SPOTLESS. You will not find a speck of dirt anywhere. He was a great boss and organized events to get to know employee families, paid for continuing education classes, my license renewal, CPR certification, etc. Those benefits are all optional and expensive- so nonexistent in most dental practices. If you want to repair a tooth and hope to never have to fix it again, hes your guy.

I never enjoyed going to the dentist in the past, but Dr. Harris and his wonderful team have changed that ! They always listen to my questions and concerns, they treat me like family! Dr Harris did my braces and gave me the smile I always wanted . I would never go any where else, they are amazing !

Recently had work done here. The staff was very friendly but I have had issues with my teeth ever since I left and now I have to pay someone else more money to fix it. I also paid my portion up front and now I keep getting billed from them saying I owe more. Also my insurance has redused to cover it saying the work was not needed.

I came to see Dr. Mcmillan at 8am on a Thursday morning as soon as I got there the representative, the dentist assistant and Dr. Mcmillan were great about taking me back super quick where I was going to get 6 of my cavities filled. Now Ive been to the dentist to fill cavities before and its usually taken me about 2-3 hours but 6 is the most cavities Ive ever had! But I was out of that place by 9:20am not only were they quick but would you believe me if I told you that I didnt feel a thing? Im used to pain at the dentist so I naturally expect pain so I cringe and press my eyes shut the whole time. Except when I did that in the beginning this time the Doctor said I dont want you to feel any pain Im gonna numb you a little more. You can relax the assistant said. BEST DENTIST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.
