Similar experience as Charlotte with Marcia. Couples counselor was biased. Never acknowledged any concern of mine and would reflexively shut down my opinions.
My husband and I sought counseling. The first time we went was to discuss the payment options, and personal information, which my health insurance was provided to determine the cost for each session. Which we came to find out it was going to be more expensive by submitting claims through. The counselor Yolanda, gave us the option to pay out of pocket, (which it sounded to good to be true) in which we agreed to do so and NOT PROCESS ANY CLAIMS THROUGH MY HEALTH INSURANCE. Luckily we only went twice, we paid her cash out of pocket for both visits, which I REQUESTED RECEIPTS FOR. The counselor kept my health insurance information and took my money and then submitted the claims through my insurance and got paid as well. Shes a crook. Stay away from this facility (her) dont seek any services, and be careful with her.She advocates to be a christian woman, and christian oriented and that she works with several churches in the process. However, not once she mentioned that she likes to take money away from services not agreed on. For those who have sought counseling from her and this facility, and have provided health insurance information make sure to check with insurance providers.

Dr. Cheryl Fultz was so easy to talk to. It’s hard for me to open up and talk about my problems but with her, I was very comfortable. My husband and I look forward to our next appointment with her!
What I love about the couselers at New Beginnings is that they love people with an honest heart. My favorite part is that they are rooted in the word of God, so what they do with their patients flows from that place. They share Truth, because it is Truth that set us free. I also like that they are patient, practical, understanding, easy to talk to, and nonjudgmental. They have a real gift.
I recently started seeing Dr. Cheryl Fultz at New Beginnings and I am not disappointed. Dr. Fultz has a calming presence about her. She is welcoming and sincere. Dr. Cheryl makes it easy to open up and communicate to her about your life struggles without prejudice or judgement and I appreciate that in a counselor. Going to counseling is a good thing to do even if you have major obstacles in your life, because everyone needs a trustworthy and unbiased ear to vent to and Dr. Cheryl is that.
Im happy with the thoughtful approach of the counselor. I appreciate the realistic perspective clearly communicated along with the application of faith to find true resolution to the issues at hand.
Had a group counseling with my now estranged husband. The most unprofessional counselor we have ever encountered and was tricked. They will blame you, especially if youre the other party who didnt sign up or pay to get counseled, and use tactics such as explaining how they are partnered with area churches. I immediately knew this wasnt the right one and hung up on our group FaceChat video as soon as the counselor started belittling and accusing me without hearing my side, which professional counselors do. Please stay away.
My family is closer because of New Beginnings. I cant imagine where we would be without Dr. Fultz. She was so patient and did an outstanding job figuring out where we were and how she could help us. She is amazing...and we owe her everything.
I love New Beginnings and the Christain principles all the counselors use are from Gods Word. My counselor Marcia helped me through a dark time in my life. I will always use New Beginngs and refer family and friends to all their counselors.
Dont waste your time here. You might encounter a devil for a therapist.
