This place is so, so great. Sara is my counselor, and she is incredibly patient, empathetic, and helpful. She truly cares about her clients and shows it by being an active listener and motivational interviewer. The front office staff are also super awesome! Very friendly and welcoming. The guy (Im so sorry, I didnt catch your name) who answered one of my phone calls was really nice and helpful despite the fact that I called shortly after official closing time. Yall da best. 10/10.

I’ve been receiving individual counseling for a year in June and have made tons of progress when it comes to my personal and professional relationships. Kelly has been a great motivator and a compassionate listener. She uses innovative thinking to help me create new habits for my life. Kelly is open minded, nonjudgmental and creates a safe environment that allowed me to feel comfortable taking about difficult situations. Front staff are always helpful and kind. They greet you with kindness and familiarity. Those interactions mean a lot to me when I walk in or call. They seem to service a variety of people from young kids to older adults. Waiting room is clean and neat. Depending on the office space, not cluttered and the set up is comfortable.

I went to the Atlanta family counseling and one of the lack of a better word person who doesn’t know how to counsel she put her personal feelings within the problems of the patient and family. U suppose to separate personal from professional. She is a quack of a therapist and she should have her license suspended. Til she get her person issues addressed and resolved.

I was denied a written report from the Counselor Who Conducted the session. This was strange do to the fact I am a repeat client of this practice and had no problems receiving a report before. The counselor also failed to deliver on writing the report and delivering the report on time, or at all, and to the necessary recipients even after assuring and signing a disclosure agreement stating that she would.Repeated Unprofessional conduct since I had to ask several times for this which was completely unnecessary. They had no concern for completing this and providing this time sensitive information. Complete waste of money. I would not recommend.

DO NOT have a court ordered evaluation done here. They told me I passed the evaluation but they still had to mandate a minimum 12 weeks of treatment at $50 per so........I got a second opinion from a private counselor that is not affiliated with the county courts and I was given NO TREATMENT NECESSARY. This place is a scam and a RIP off for anything mandated by Gwinnett County. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!!!

Very effective and efficient business conduction and they accept a good variety of insurance.

I have been going to this place for classes and the place is very clean, and Everyone is very nice and Friendly.

I wish I could give them 0 stars ! They are a ripoff center and no matter if you have problems or not they automatically recommend the longest amount of counseling just to get your money ! Dont go here, find somebody else ! They dont deserve your business!

I’ve been going to Atlanta Family Counseling for years now with my children.The staff has always been professional and courteous and they have helped us through some really sensitive situations.I wouldn’t hesistate to recommend them to any of my friends or family.

BEWARE I went to 3 appts just in case it was a bad day for the office staff and counselor. Let me be clear that these people are idiots. It is shameful that so many ill-informed are supposed to know what they are doing!! Never will return.
