Went to Authentik barber studio for their 320 5 star review in Google but left very disappointed with my hair cut. I showed a general haircut to my barber of what I wanted using Brad Pitts haircut shown in the pictures for a short haircut. I tried to be even more specific with the barber by saying to cut the top of my hair by 1 and a half inch because my hair was close to 3 inches long. But in the end, it looked like my hair was cut close to half an inch long on the top of my hair, even though my barber even clarified to me if I really wanted to have one and half inches cut from the top of my hair. I think he ended up cutting so little on the top of my hair because of how I have a curly hair and my barber soaked my hair very wet giving the look of my hair being short already. I even got a tiny cut from the side of my hair, my barber kind of hurts on cutting the side using his clippers without a guard as he was making the square shape on my sides as shown in the pictures. If the other barbers in the shop are wondering who my barber was, he was wearing white shirt and is big/chubby that speaks a lot in Spanish on 8/21/21. Overall, I had a better haircut at institute of cosmetology at Buford for $5 vs the $30 haircut I paid here in Authentik barber studio.

I found this place on social media before moving to Atlanta. I love the service I receive here for many reasons including of course, my haircut.. but also how my barber Cristian schedules appointments. This makes it easy for me to know when exactly I will get my haircut without issues. Cristian, as well as other employees are also bilingual so they cater to many customers which is good. I will continue coming here because I always get good service in a clean barbershop.

Ive been going here since Cristian and David moved here from the Mall of Georgia location. I know going to a new barber can be scary because youre so used having your fade/cut done a certain way. Im telling you all have to do is when you have a good haircut take a picture of it and save it on your phone. I guarantee you if you show David or Cristian a picture your haircut theyll cut it exactly to that.

The guys were nice but something went wrong. We went in at about 4:15pm on Sunday August 8th. I guess you could call this the 2nd back to school weekend. I has 1 son who started the Wednesday before and had 2 who were starting on the 9th. I needed haircuts for all three. One 16 and two others who were 10 and 11. The barbers used a blade on them for a bald fade and also to edge up the sides. All three boys had multiple bumps on their skin by Tuesday night! This is just one of them. He is my youngest! I will never go there again. So unfortunate.

I came in on 04/13/2020, been looking for a new barber since my last one stopped. Been to multiple places to try out and finally my wife said to try this place out. I asked for a hair cut and clearly explained to cut only the tangled portion of my hair and also made it clear not to reduce the length of my hair. But by the end of the hair cut, I got the worst hair cut I ever had in my life. If you do not understand, ask if what you understood is correct rather than just doing whatever you feel like doing. If someone let their hair grow for an year, you cant just cut that off in 10 freakin minutes. I honestly did not even look in the mirror since after the first look I had at myself.

David does an incredible job every time! I literally watched him and the staff clean and disinfect everything before I sat down, which is important during this covid-19 time. He was on time ready to go and they are all very respectful, down to earth guys. These guys do many different hair styles, and David always cuts my fade cut on point! Pricing was great value!
