I love this shop. My children have been coming to Vu for 3 years now. Cuts are always sharp

My son and I came to Georgia from New York and needed a cut. Saw the reviews and pics of the cuts on Google I came here right away. Made a mistake of walking in without calling, and ended up waiting about an hour and a half (seeing everyones great haircuts was great incentive to wait). I started getting a little salty seeing other people getting their haircuts before me, but they were wise enough to schedule appointments beforehand. I expressed my wait time issue with Mr. Ty (management) and he very politely informed me of the wait process here. After thoroughly apologizing for the wait, he guaranteed we will be the next ones to get cut, which we were. He then offered to discount our haircuts for the wait, but I had to pay full price with tips because of the quality of work that was done. Even if you have to wait, it is well worth it. Mr. Ty has one of the best understandings of how to treat people and every barbers passion shows in the quality of the cuts comming out this place. I wish this barbershop the best. Comfy waiting area and good tunes as well. The best barbershop I have ever been to!

We have been faithful clients to Vu since he cut hair on Steve Reynolds. That was three years ago. When Vu moved over to this shop things changed. Whenever my son came to get his hair cut Vu would send him off to someone else.Usually a new barber. Never a bad experience with any of those.Today we go in Vu is not there so another barber cuts my sons hair and did it just way my son wanted. No complaints.When Vu arrives after the haircut is done by the other barber. Vu ask my son when is he going to do something with his hair to make himself look presentable.He asked my son if he could clean it up, clip the ends to make it even. My son was hesitant but then agreed. Vu didn’t clip the ends he cut of the dreads, and picked out the remaining hair.My son was visibly upset Vu asked what was wrong. My son proceeded to tell him this isn’t what he wanted. Vu said I’m just trying to make you look presentable.My son said no you told me I look a mess. I thought you were trimming the ends only, what is this? Vu said am I done?Long story short it escalated Vu told my son you know what you can leave. We left with an unfinished haircut. I still paid Vu only because the barber before him did the job correctly.There was no apology, or an attempt to correct the situation or anything. I paid $20 my son left unhappy, after being a loyal client for three years.My son has taken pride in growing his hair and letting it do its own thing. It’s a shame he has to start all over because of a simple misunderstanding.Very unfortunate. My suggestion is always listen to your customer. They are always right. If they don’t feel comfortable don’t pressure them.

Vu the owner has been my baber for quite a while. Sine ce he moved here i am still getting my haircut from him. This comment describes how good he is because his shop was a lot closer than it is right now. He’s the man for real would recommend everyone to visit at least once, you would not regret it
