Great communication. Their communication and accounting system is state-of-the-art — 21st century. I can see exactly what they recommend and respond in seconds via digital interface. I can review their notes and approve or reject services immediately. They also have a front end advisory staff that will call and communicate thoroughly what needs to be done. They also follow through on promises and service. AND honor warranty work without hesitation.

Joel was outstanding. After the extended warranty denied my claim he called an explained in detail how the part had failed and it was not due to normal wear and tear. I appreciate the fact that he did this for me since this was my first time having my car serviced at True Automotive. Will definitely use them for all future repairs.

We brought in my Wifes 2013 BMW M3 for the infamous V8 rod-bearing replacement job. I chose to call True Automotive based on recommendations on multiple BMW forums and their relative proximity to our location in Savannah, GA. My initial inquiries were treated professionally and graciously, questions were answered in detail, pricing was explained, and I scheduled the work several months in advance. When we brought the car in for service we were greeted by Joel Ciporkin and felt welcome right away. We were also given a tour of their busy, yet impressively clean and organized facility and were introduced to several technicians. When we picked up the car, we were given a detailed invoice and warranty, including photographs of the work, and were able to speak briefly with the technician that performed the work.

I took my vehicle in for an oil change and diagnostics. Joel and Lady J. were very professional, and they made sure I understood the diagnosis and the maintenance that was required for repairs. This company has been servicing my BMWs since 2003. I would definitely recommend you take your vehicle to this shop for any and all repairs. Two thumbs up!!!!

Im a new owner of a used Range rover Sport and had a coolant leak issue. I did some research on local shops in Gwinnet, and these folks are about 5 miles from me. This place was really impressive. They kept communicating with me, and I loved the interactive nature of their service process. They sent me video, pics, and notes based on the technicians findings and i was able to authorize and notate the process all digitally. The technician did advise that this may not be the only visit and that fixing a leak very often springs another, so be prepared for that. I researched this to be accurate in my context. When I did have to call, Ashley, the service advisor was very professional and communicated well. Barring any issues, I will be using them for all of the care of my 2012 Range Rover Sport.

They tried to rip me off. Beware women. They tried to charge me 850 to diagnose and fix my thermostat on a 2.4L engine. I Google and also called around to other shops and a repair for thermostat housing would between 180- 300. This place is a scam. And I dont know how they got this good of a rating. I guess if you are male they wont scam you. So disappointed. I know prices can vary but 500 dollar difference come on. I am a single woman trying to keep my car on the road. Please do better.

Really like this place. The ladies answering the phone were very pleasant. I had my Mini Cooper towed to their location at 2:30 in the afternoon and they promised to have it back to me that evening. They even stayed till after 7:00 to keep their word. It’s hard to find that nowadays. The dealer quoted me over twice the price and wanted to keep my car for three days. Are you kidding? True automotive came highly recommended to me and i trusted word of mouth as that can carry a company very far, however i had my 2008 Mercedes E350 shipped to true automotive because Joel with true automotive assured me that the services recommended by another company could have been performed by true automotive experts without all of the labor intensive steps that the other company had stated was necessary and i trusted JOEL since he is the expert when dealing with my cars mechanical issues. I had my car towed there and was advised of what was needed to get my car back to working condition. I agreed to all of the works that were said to have been needed (still trusting the EXPERTS). My car has been with True Automotive for the better part of two weeks and it was expressed to me that it would take about a week to complete the works needed, and through it all i tried to follow up and find the most recent status of work progression, never really hearing from TRUE Automotive on the progress. Considering the labor day holiday i made an exception on the delay of progress since it was told to me that my car would be ready by Friday 9/10/2021. i called Joel on 9/13/2021 to find out the status and he told me that my car should be ready this same evening, however he may keep it overnight just to make certain. Fast forward to the next day and no call from true automotive, so i reached out shortly around 5 pm and the receptionist assured me that she would have JOEL contact me. Around 5:50pm right before closing i contacted TRUE automotive and JOEL answers to tell me that he was just about to call me because my car still isnt ready as previously discussed. He went into to details about how after all the works that had been done on my car, the car is in need of a transmission, which is what the company before him stated was needed in the first place, which with the works performed and the additional work is gonna exceed the amount of money that i had towards having the car fixed by the company before true automotive. I SO FEEL AS if with what I am experiencing with True AUTOMOTIVE from the communication or lack thereof, that i have been placed into a deceptive practice as a customer when even times such as these when so many are barely making ends, others are deceptively taking advantage of peoples situation. I am LITERALLY stuck because after being told my car would be ready at a certain time, I SOLD my other only means of transportation and now am left without anything shy of hope for a resolution from TRUE AUTOMOTIVE and the people of power with this company. I will be in contact with OWNERS, MANAGERS and will not stop until i have got complete satisfaction from such a FRAUDULANT situation. I listened to word of mouth but as of now my recommendations are not in favor of TRUE automotive in LAWRENCEVILLE, GA.

I HIGHLY recommend True Automotive. Their service is truly refreshing. They are friendly and go out of their way to explain everything that is needed for your car, such as your maintenance schedule and any repairs necessary. Their shuttle service is a life saver. The staff are nice at this place but my car literally sat a whole day to supposedly to get maintenance done and diagnose 1 issue. Joel explained to me that they are super busy and that’s why it took so long. Well, I could have let that go but then when I get there I found out they overcharge me ($68) to plug a tire and ($18) in misc fees. I ended up paying for oil change and diagnostic because I couldn’t get anything else fixed since it was 6:00 and it was super expensive. My husband told the manager and he reduced it to ($25) and stated that’s just what they charge. I don’t understand why this place overcharge in the first place knowing that they are getting over people who may not know ( especially women). I’m not happy about it and this did not sit well with me. I will not take my car back because I can’t trust them. I have now found other European repair shops that are reasonable and reputable and some of them stated that they used to work at true automotive and said they are known to overcharge. I hate to know I was taken advantage of and others are too. Get second opinions!———Update (4/26/21)———-The manager, Jenny, reached out to me to do a follow up the next day as they usually do. I’m very satisfied on how well she listened to my concerns, address the issue with her team, and refund the amount I overpaid. Jenny was very thorough! This was the most honorable thing to do and it definitely showed that she take pride in customer service.

This is my second visit (in 3 weeks), to True Automotive in Lawrenceville, GA. My first visit was a result of a check engine light. I made an appointment on line and was able to drop off the vehicle the next day. The staff completed a thorough review of my vehicle and was able to fix the problem on my GLE 350. Today, I took the QX60, to have an assessment and they checked the vehicle from top to bottom. I had a few maintenance items completed and I am really impressed with the outcome. I believe my favorite part of working with this location is the ease of setting up my appointments on-line and the professional behavior of the staff. Joel is always full of energy and ready to assist. I know this will be the go-to mechanic on all my vehicles for years to come.

Helped out when my car was acting funny and I couldn’t get carmax to look at it in a timely matter. Even looked at it at a time when they had other cars to work on. Joel was even more helpful by taking what I would’ve had to pay and made it to were carmax would have to pay for more of the work done than I would have. Customer service was outstanding my car had a check engine light that needed a diagnostic test. The mechanics discovered that a rodent had chewed up my cables. These guys are incredible. We recently noticed water pooling in the back of the car and could not determine where it was coming from. We assumed it was around the windows, but when someone came to detail the car, they told us the vapor barrier was messed up in both back doors.In a panic, I started looking online for mechanics who 1) knew what they were doing and 2) would not rip me off. The first guy I called refused to give me a general estimate for the repair and kept pushing me to go into his establishment. He eventually admitted that he didnt really work on BMWs (despite their page stating they do), so I hung up and found TRUE Automotive.I called and spoke to Ashley, who gave me an estimate over the phone and was knowledgeable and kind. A few days later, we dropped the car off for repairs, and when we went to pick up, she was, again, incredibly kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The bill ended up being MUCH less than I was expecting, and I honestly could not have been happier.The drive to these guys is a bit far from my place, but they are 100% worth the drive. :) So happy to have found my new mechanic!

Pleasant experience from start to finish!!! Joel answered the phone and explained how everything works and scheduled me the very next day. The customer service was off the charts. I also really appreciated how they incorporated the use of technology during my mini coopers stay. I was emailed a list of of potential concerns (with pictures!) and was able to select which items on the checklist I wanted them to move forward with completing. I never felt pressured - ever. If youre easily intimated by auto shops and repair suggestions - this ones for you!
