Fair service and pricing. We have recently had a tire repaired there, and then ended up buying a set of 4 new tires a couple weeks back. Both times they have gotten us in quickly/last minute and had it ready to go in a timely manner.

Great price on tires. But they scratched the hell out of my wheels both on the edge and around the lug nuts.as they were the only good thing on my truck so I’m pretty upset and I will no longer be going to Kay’s. And I wouldn’t recommend them if you have nice wheels. As I’ve had this happen to friends of mine as well.

Ive been using them for over twenty years. Best place in town and you wont find a nice guy than Jimmy. He stands behind his work and charges a fair price.

The guys did great, got 2 tires on my work truck ordered them day before, I came in next morning they got me fixed up and beck on the road as fast as they could

K’s came through for us in an emergency with flying colors! We came from Wellington Ks to pick up a new trailer and didn’t know it needed new 16” tires to get back from Lawrence Ks. It was late in the afternoon, right before closing time and no one in town had the size. We called K’s and they said they had 5 tires we needed and at a discounted price and would put them on no problem. K’s guys were are heroes for the day! They were the nicest and got us right in and fixed us up without any wait time even! We couldn’t be happier and will always go to K’s Tires whenever we’re needing any service in the Lawrence/KC area!!

Dont know why anyone goes anywhere else.Less reputable shops have taken advantage of my friends and its frustrating.What shops need are good service advisors and Jimmy is just that. Honest. He tells you a price and he sticks with it. Doesnt do uneeded repairs. Doesnt charge you for stuff that wasnt asked to be done. Amazing techs. Amazing shop.

These guys have been very helpful and quality of service has been phenomenal. Prices have been awesome on oil changes and just put on Falken tires on my challenger and an alignment for a Super price. WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!! Took my car to get serviced due to it not starting, paid $327.90 to get it fixed because they said they found the issue. The first time I got my car back I was able to drive it home, then it wouldn’t start again. I had it towed back to K’s, where I was again told they had the problem solved. Picked it up for a second time for it to die on me as I was driving down the street. Had it towed back for a third time and for them to tell me there’s nothing they can do, I won’t be getting my money back and to take it to a dealership. How am I supposed to get it fixed when y’all TOOK my money and didn’t resolve the issue. I WANT A REFUND.

Jimmy is a good guy, he may not remember your name but hell remember your car lol. Over the years I have seen several regulars come in, people who have clearly been coming in for years, farmers, people with businesses. Ive seen people bring them breakfast, lunch and candy. We had the worst week. 3 tires blown on 3 cars in 3 days. Ks Tire found an affordable tire each time and later we went to them for air conditioning issue. They are extremely busy. But if you can wait the work they do is very good quality and very affordable.

I have high standards for customer service and morality. Jimmy is honest, and genuinely cares about the customers he and his crew serve. They have worked on my and my kids moms vehicles several times, and always have been fair, and honest with pricing and what they recommend vs what NEEDS to be done. They made a mistake this last time (new kid missed something fairly obvious), they admitted the mistake, said they want to make it right, and are doing the job for the cost of the part. It is more than I could have expected, and I will continue to go here when I am too lazy to work on my vehicle.I highly recommend them. It is not every day that you meet a group of honest mechanics.

Top notch service! My daughter is a student at KU and we live in CA. Based on the reviews for K’s Tires, I called the shop and spoke with Jimmy. He ordered the tires and was able to put them on my daughter’s car the same day. She now has 4 new tires and can safely drive to Minnesota for Thanksgiving. Jimmy and his crew took excellent car of me and car like always. Have bought several sets of tires from them for 2 4Runners and a Mercedes Sprinter. They have always had the best price for what I was looking for. Today 3-1-18 I went there to have a tire repair ( was close to another tire store so went there 1st simple tire repair while I ate lunch across the street )was told by employee there after quickly looking at it in parking lot cant be fixed new tire only option for $180 Thats $60 more than I paid from Ks when I bought tires lol. Said have a nice day left laughing to myself. Went to Ks after lunch Jimmy came out looked at Said no problem 15 minutes or so we can fix it. 20 minutes and less than $20 later I was out the door tire repaired and balanced. Awesome!!! Thanks Jimmy and his crew!! Little out of way definitely worth the trip.

Nice friendly people great service

Everyone at the shop was great, I went in for an alignment and they found that I needed some parts replaced and although I had to spend more than I originally intended they did such a great job and I really feel like they gave a me a good price for everything that they did. I will definitely go back there. Now my Jeep drives better than it ever has! Thank you Jimmy and everyone who worked on my vehicle!

They were absolutely awesome there. They helped us with something no one else could and due to the special rims we had a special key we needed that no one else in the area had. The sad thing is I was recommended by someone to get services here. I brought my car in because I thought I had a power steering leak. I had fluid everywhere under my car so I thought they would be able to see the problem, but apparently they didn’t spray it down to find out what the real problem was which led me to being stuck in KC the same morning at a chain auto store where they performed a spray down for free and told me I was way overcharged and that they didn’t even perform my services right. Will not be back or recommended anyone...

Please give this shop your business. Absolutely phenomenal service from start to finish. Courteous and friendly on the phone and in-person. I was never made to feel like I was an inconvenience, and they were very thorough in their work. Initially brought my vehicle in to have my own new tires mounted and balanced as well as having the brakes bled (I just finished replacing the master cylinder and power brake booster myself). Their technician discovered another part of my braking system that needed replaced and told me they could fix it or I could fix it myself. I went ahead and had them quote me on the repair, and they were very up-front and itemized the repair cost so there were no surprises. Their prices were fair and reasonable enough that I went ahead and opted for them to fix the problem they discovered during their inspection. Again, I cannot express enough my satisfaction with the service and care from Ks tire.

My buddy bought a used tire from this place and they threw it on in thirty minutes. They were decent, didnt seem to be poorly priced, and seemed respectful. I went there today a month later to get work on my car, just two used tires on the back. The guy I dealt with seemed to be really cocky but I didnt let it bother me. I told him what I needed. We went back in and he told his boss the same thing except worded way different and I literally said I didnt understand what they were saying so Ill clarify my desired work to be preformed. After me explaining, the dude I first spoke to was rather ride and snobby, he talked down to me like I was trying to offend him. I cut him off and his boss cut me off to take over in explaining we all were on the same page. They employee then left and so I went back to sit by my car. He came out five or so later and basically ordered me away from my car.He got in, threw it in reverse, didnt come to a stop before slamming it in drive. He gassed it hard enough to kick up gravel. I get my car back an hour later and I find that my wheels are chipping around the edge of the bead on both wheels they dealt with. Theres also a gash thats suspiciously just deep enough in the corner of the tread and sidewall to not let air out. I dont think they would have put these on in any other situation unless the employee cut it himself. Im livid and have to wait till tomorrow morning to talk to the boss about the damage caused to my wheels and tire.

This place was amazing other than them cheapest tire I could find was $122 they only charged $43. Also Im about to save $400 on another repair thanks to them as well I highly recommend them!

Ive been there twice, they do a great job and they are very busy because of it...so it may be best to leave your car verses waiting for the work to be completed.

Quick, cheap and great, quality service. I walked in without an appointment an hour before they closed on a Friday and left with new tires in 45 minutes. They have a warehouse in town & had my tires brought over within 15 minutes, no hassle, no stress. Ill never go anywhere else! Cheap alignment and oil changes too. Driving through Lawrence on our way home to Wisconsin when we noticed a tire going flat on our 5th wheel travel trailer. Called Jimmy and explained our situation. He said he could get us in today, even though it was already 2 pm. When we arrived, he looked at all the tires on our trailer and explained why we needed to replace 2 of the 4 tires. New tires were the installed at a reasonable cost. We sure appreciated them getting us back on the road so quickly!

This is, by far, the greatest Repair and Tire Business out there! They came in under budget, fixed more than I thought was wrong, same hour/day service, polite, caring, kept me updated, and worked around my hearing impairement. My desperate situation was completely eased. A better group of professional individuals cant be found.

Great service. Very helpful and honest people. He didnt try to trick me into getting more expensive tires like a lot of other mechanics Ive been to. I bought four new tires for my car for under $450, and I get 10 tire rotations for free.

I walked in, without an appointment, and they ordered new tires for me overnight, and had me going again by the next morning. (Lets see your dealership do that!) They are so friendly, provide quick service, and have fair prices. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else for tires or basic tune-ups!

My friend had serveral issues with his car and the staff was very unprofessional rude and not helpful they didnt want to own up with what they did. Im contacting the BBB. He been without his car for several weeks and is a single dad. This past experience is horrible and there words were to sue him instead of apologizing making things right.
