I usually got to the dealership to get my car serviced, but I’ve recently been going to this particular pep boys because it’s near my house. Ricardo was such a great person when it came to questions, clarity and customer service! I would 100% recommend everyone to get their vehicle serviced here . I got an oil change and my filters changed. Alongside of my tires being rotated .

First time using the service. Had to replace a dead battery. I had an appointment first thing in the morning, and it didn’t take a whole lot for them to get the work done. They offered 2 different batteries - one AGM and the other standard. The first was slightly more expensive but had an additional year of warranty (4 years, rather than 3 years). And I was told that the AGM battery gets charged faster than the other, which meant that it would last longer. It is their words, not mine.In the end though I’d rather have a battery that lasts for 4 years in case it dies on me and I have to replace it with a new, which is free with the warranty. I had once a Costco battery which had 3-year warranty died on me and had it replaced with a new for free then, so it’s good to know that there’s an extra year to fall back on.Oh, and I was told that it’d cost $80 there to install a battery purchased elsewhere. With the batteries they sell, you pay only for the battery that you’d purchase (although who knows if they have already factored that in when pricing their batteries). At any rate, I decided to go with a professional service this time because it appeared to be more complicated to remove the old battery and install a new in a ¾ ton truck (unlike with an SUV that I installed the battery purchased from Costco myself).I don’t know if the batteries Costco sells are AGM but it (only one type) was similar to the price of the standard battery at Pep Boys. The thing is that Costco doesn’t install batteries for you.When I saw the signs saying free tire pressure check and free brake inspection while waiting, I didn’t think of them much. But I saw a vehicle pull in, a customer got out and went into the shop and then next minute she was getting tire pressure check. I didn’t ask about it but it appeared that that was what happened.

I had an appointment online for an oil change, showed up and then they told me they could not attend me today cause they were too busy. I guess that they were busy making more money with a brake job or something else.So I wasted 30 minutes driving... great!

Thank you thank you thank you... from the phone call before i even showed up thru the payment process, i was very satisfied w/the staff. my truck had been running rough about a week before it broke down & i thought it was the battery, but after a new one it was dead again w/in a few days. it was on the street for a week & then i couldnt start it @ all, so i called & explained & was told it was my alternator. i managed to get it over there & they promptly pulled it in & began working on it. both the price i was quoted & the time frame i was given were accurate. i was called only to tell me that a belt also needed to be replaced, which was reasonable & to tell me it was ready. i drove my truck around for over ½ an hour after picking it up & its so smooth, it runs like new again, even tho its 13yrs old. also my windshield was very dirty from sitting on the street & they cleaned the windshield for me... above & beyond!

Got here after been told at toyota that my brake fluid is dirty and front brake pads are almost at metal. Mechanic did fluid test, turned out it is clean and almost as goos as new and pads 60% alive. Thanks for not selling me services that my car does not need. Will take both my cars here. Thanks guys.

I was a walk-in. The service was great and friendly. In and out in good time.

Mechanics there were nice & polite. Replaced a battery for me within 45 minutes. Wouldve been 30 but had issues with them not getting my online order. System error, Not the mechanics fault. Got it resolved and was on my way.

Great service. Answered all of questions that I had about my car.

Made an appointment for oil change and tire pressure. Phone guy said arrive 15 minutes early. Took me right on time. They did just what I asked to be done to prep for smog check. Got out early. Happy customer!

Customer service exists here! I highly recommend this Pepboys! They took excellent care of my sister’s car and my wife’s car! Great clean location and very accessible. Just shy of useless! They took over an hour and a half to pick up the phone. When they did I was referred to call their road service number. When I called that number, their voice mail system was simply picking up and hanging up immediately. So much for their roadside service. I walked to the store, as I was told by someone from the store I could barrow a jump start battery. When I got to the store, I was told they no longer did that. They had one. They just wouldn’t loan it out anymore.Pep boys has never been a place with great service However, then seem to have gotten even worse!

It took less than an hour (walk-in,not appointment) to do regular maintenance e.g oil change,tire fixing and alignment. This is the best pepboys Ive ever been to.Hoping this efficiency will last for a while,and will continue to do my car maintenance with you guys, because you are the best.
