The owner of Dutch treat was honest and reasonable I had a sport a matric 911. I would refer anybody and everybody to this guy I have Not owned car in 25 years. Believe me I remember what a great guy he was and happy to see he still has a shop

First and foremost im not writing this in revenge im writing this merely to express my experience as an employee at dutch treat Porsche.i came aboard as a mechanic in 2004 Robert wessels is a fantastic boss he helped me with not only a job of my passion he helped me as a friend when I needed such helped outside of an employee..i was employed with dutch treat up Intel late 2014as many know dutch treat has moved to a new location and dutch treat has grown in servicing porsches..well with company growth comes company staff growth..this is were it all falls apartme being the only employee I was in need of help little did I know that would never arrive.I will say about 2 years ago 2012 help did arrive the owners son taylor wessels .....upon his full time employment at dutch treat taylor wessels exhibited no passion for automotiveand often just wanted to do close to nothing each day.i can say in taylor,s behalf hes young and needed to be treated like an employee during business hours..but I soon found out that the owner Robert wessels was not going to such. and in return for not doing so taylor beame inerasably more lazy and not caring about the work load that was present in the shop..taylor would sleep in parts room and often be on that cell phone almost on a daily basis and was becoming more and more demanding for having things he way I do blame the owner for all this and it often would bring me to tears when I would not look the other way to what was transpiring within the shop.im writing this just to bring peace to myself so as I can heal and move on ......best wishes to dutch treat..

Rob knows Porsches. I brought my 2001 Boxster to him and left a satisfied customer that will always return. The car was generating really loud vibrations, that, over time, increased in amplitude. Rob got in the car, and after driving it 10 feet, told me that my right rear bearing was shot. He put the car up on the lift, and let me listen to the wheel rattle. He nailed the diagnosis, and fixed the car the same day for an excellent price - also kept the bearing and showed me what was wrong when I came to pickup the car. He suggested I do the brakes as he showed me the wear and it was obvious I needed new pads - this saved me the additional labor since the wheel had to be disassembled anyways. This guy knows everything there is about Porsches, and he shared about 30min of his time just talking about the cars and their engineering when i picked up my Boxster. He has made a customer for life. I used to take the car to Pacific Porsche, but never again. Dutch Treat Rob is the Man.
