I am very disappointed with my haircut today. I didn’t notice until I had gotten in the car and took a closer look at my cut. As you can see, the barber took way too much skin off when using the razor on my shape up, not to mention there is a noticable light spot in the middle of my forehead now!I guess what really makes me disappointed is the fact that this is not the barbers usual work.. I’ve been to him a few times before and all my cuts usually turn out really nice and fresh... idk maybe he was having a bad day or rushing or something, but this is not a quality cut, or attention to detail, that you would expect from this establishment. Make things worse, when you book with him through “The Cut” app, you have to pay in advance before the actual appointment, so I couldn’t have refused payment even if I wanted to bc the appointment has to paid in advance on the app🥴My advice- it’s a very nice shop and they do great work, but if you are considering coming here, maybe ask for a different barber than this one?

My stylist rents a space its run down the owner neglects this shop. It took the water forever to get hot, its fruit flies in the bathroom, I have been to other suites and I have encouraged her to move. This makes me not want to come back. It took way longer than it should have the dryers are not hot at all.. my stylist was embarrassed but hey she is amazing and thus why I keep coming back to this hell whole.. ijs owners should do better especially when your other spots are great do sad....

This is a gem. Friendly and professional service. I bring my 6 year old here, and he comes out looking sharp. The shop is modern, clean and Safe. I have never heard anyone bad language or over the top conversations. Use theCut mobile app to schedule and pay for services. Very convenient.

I was able to schedule an appointment online with ease. The shop is very clean and the staff was friendly. Great conversation, as should be expected in a shop. Cut was awesome. Edged me with a straight razor. I dont know why all barbers dont do this! The whole service was dope. The cut was a little bit more expensive than what Im used to, but I can spare $10 more for top notch service.

Fantastic experience! Saw this place on my drive home and since I had an extra few minutes and have been wanting to get some bangs, I figured Id stop in. Even though I didnt have an appointment, they were able to accommodate me. The barber was friendly and professional, he listened to me regarding what I was looking for and used his expertise to make it happen. The final result turned out even better than I hoped! Amazing atmosphere I love my barber makk shes amazing. I started coming to her a couple of months ago, I didnt know what I wanted to do with my hair it was damaged and I felt it was beyond repair. I thought I was going to have to wear wigs n weaves forever. She cut my hair short n showed me what products to use to achieve my,natural curl needless to say I love my hair I get amazing compliments on a daily on my cuts n,color all,thanks to her. She has really helped me to come out of my shell n achieve my,confidence in myself because I,would have never never thought that I,would have went natural n love it so much

Im from out of town I was looking for good barber shop that cuts African American hair I stopped by A Cut Above and got a great experience. I was greeted at the door as a walk-in and was quickly seated to receive a cut The Barbers are professional the environment is fresh and clean very motivational with a positive energy flow. I dont remember my barbers name light skinned cat with green eyes did a awesome job very professional also notice Lisa shes the only female Barber on staff she was absolutely phenomenal great personality her skill was extreme I recommend this shop to anybody that wants a great experience and above all else a fresh cut.

Love this place!!! I been coming here since late 2014 had came like one a month because, my hair doesnt grow and get all goofy looking for like a month. My barber is Mike and he can cut fades really good. The fades I get from him are so nice and clean not ugly at all. Only thing that is not that bad but, is kind of a bummer is the waiting time is sometimes long but, theyre good and a lot of people come to get a cut, so I can understand that not that bad BTW.

The barber Vernon is AWESOME, he cut my hair and arched my eyebrow perfectly. The customer service was GRADE A. I scheduled an appointment for 6pm since this was my children’s first time getting a hair cut there. The person that was supposed to cut both of my son’s hair left around 6:30 like we wasn’t there. He knew we was waiting and we was on time for the appointment. I was only able to get one of my two children hair cut after being there for an 1 1/2. I don’t think I will go back there even though it’s close to my house. I gave 2 ⭐️ because the gentleman that cut my oldest son’s hair done a great job.

Great atmosphere and every barber in the shop can cut. The wait is very reasonable if you waiting on a specific barber. Time passes quickly with good wholesome conversation that is family friendly. The husband and wife can get severed as there is a Salon for the ladies.

Seemed like they were no expericed with kids being in their shop.. yet along giving a kids haircut Or that they were annoyed by it. Nonetheless I called this shop prior to wasting my time, to inquire about kids haircut and was told that everyone there was experienced with handling a hair cut for a toddler who dislikes haircuts. Clearly this was not the case I have been to other barbershops where Ive seen friendlier faces and with positive attitudes and definitely more patience towards dealing with kids. The barber claimed that he couldnt perform his job if my child moved, but I guess he was just not an experience enough barber because like I said before Ive been to better shops who were up to the job! And were happy to do it. Only reason why I even wasted my time at this shop was because I didnt want to make a 30 min trip but now I know not everyone loves their job or kids 🤷🤦

Today I visited this particular barbershop in transition for looking for a new barber after many failed attempts. Luckly I found the solution to my problems (Chaz!). while walking into A cut Above i was very hesitant on having such a young barber cut my hair because i did not want to face anymore bad haircuts especially because i had a very important event to attend later that evening and desperately needed a cut. Today i was proven wrong when it came to younger barbers they are just as good as the older barbers if not better! I am pleased to say that I have finally found a new barber by the name Chaz who is very great at what he does! Dont let age fool you!

I went to get my hair cut from a barber and he charges me 25 dollars for a temp fade then I call back and ask them how much is it for a haircut. The guy on the phone tells me 20. Then I said well what if its a temp fade. He says 20... then wen I go into the shop I ask the guy about there price and he has this stupid ass look on his face saying well temp fades r 25. Idk who charge u 20. Then another guy say wen well they are about 23. Overall I had a bad experience there and will not return. Them guys that work there will try to get over on u and over charge u. I do not recommend anybody going there.

I enjoyed my experience with Howard he was very patient with me being indecisive about cutting my waist line dreadlocks. He is multitalented. He can style, cut, retwist and treat the hair and explain what he is doing. He spent a a lot of time to make I was very pleased with my decision on getting my man instead of cutting my hair completely. I know that the other barbers noticed I spent four and half hours in this barbershop. It was worth it, I was treated very well and received top quality service and was quoted a very reasonable price that, if I went anywhere else I would have spent a fortune to get half service. It pays off to have a multitalented barber to be able to perform many skills in one person. From now I will be going to Howard to get my customer needs met.
