Craig was our project manager and his team Salvador did a fantastic job. They were quick and did an amazing job. We are happy with the job they did.

This company is very organized and they helped me out as fast as they could and I think everything turned out great. Liz was very helpful and responded fast through emails and phone calls. Bobby was also helpful and friendly when coming to the site and assuring me of what exactly they were going to repair and how they were going to do it. The two workers were fast and I think they did a good job overall. I will be doing other projects to my house and will be a returning customer.

J&J renovated two 18 year old bathrooms for us. The finished product was great and could not be happier. I am currently in the process of restoration being done by J&J. I usually wait til service is complete before writing a review. I will write one when they are done as well. I am so pleased thus far with the quality and professionalism. The workmen are on time and most considerate. No one wants to have their home damaged. It can be very stressful. Its nice to have the companies make things easy for you. Quick Dry did the initial inspection and drying out work. They were wonderful as well!!!

After WFM did a great job of remediation following water heater flood damage to several rooms in my house, they sent Daniel of J&J Contracting to do an estimate for my insurance company to restore the rooms back to pre-flood condition. Work included drywall, paint, plumbing, and flooring. Everyone did a great job but I want to thank Daniel and Freddy who were very professional and kind and went out of their way to accommodate me. And I especially appreciated Alex who worked tirelessly, did the best job no matter what it was, and kept me informed of his comings and goings - I just cant say enough about the quality of his work - he is an asset to J&J.

PLEASE DONT USE THIS COMPANY... They have no respect for their customers or their customers property. My house has been in shambles for a month. They show up when they want no matter what time they promised. Only one person shows up for the whole job. They broke my daughters bed and havent fixed it for three weeks now. Where do they think she is going to sleep? They scratched my countertop aka cabinets and havent fixed it. The electrical is hanging out in my kids room. They left trash and razor blades on the floor and banister. They expect me to move all my furniture back so it can be cleaned. They put my fan back up but didnt screw it in the ceiling all the way. The list goes on. My house is unsafe and not very habitable but they keep dragging their feet. The operations manager promised me my house would he fixed if I took my post down. Well its not so the public needs to know so they dont go through this too.

I had a leak that a water restoration company took a look at and then recommended J&J. The water restoration company had me give J&J on the 3rd of February. The water restoration company was completely done with their part by the 5th of February. Why it took J&J until March 4th to get here is beyond me. I made sure to tell them multiple times I dont have access to my kitchen and would love to be on schedule asap. After not hearing a word from them for a week Im told that they FORGOT to submit to insurance and it will be at least 2 more weeks. After many attempts to get in contact with them and having to deal with possibly the worst answering service in the world its done. I say done because they decided that they were going to put up the drywall, but putting back the kitchen cabinets that were taken apart wasnt their job... Now I have half of my kitchen cabinets taken apart sitting in my living room. Im not quite sure what you mean by scope approved by the home owner and insurance but this is most definitely part of the job you are supposed to be completing. If you are for some reason mistaken please feel free to reach out to the homeowner to check.As if all that wasnt bad enough they didnt clean at all when they left. I have an inch of drywall dust in rooms they werent even working in because they didnt put any plastic down the first day.Stay as far away from this company even if they offer free repairs I wouldnt let them do another job in my home.

I called J&J plumbing and I don’t write reviews very often but I was so impressed with their quantity of workers they were very professional really knew what they were doing, very very polite, I have kept their names cause I would differently have them back and I also want to mention their boss Bobble Varela that overseen all the work daily and throughly. Of course that’s what makes good professional workers is a good professional boss. I waited 2 months to find the right workers. Boy am I glad I did. The company used experienced workers that performed their work with perfection and swiftness. This particular flooding job had a significant amount of damage that included using an asbestos crew. All workers did a fantastic job reconditioning my home. I would be happy to recommend the company to my friends and family.

After experiencing an extensive flood in my home in July my insurance recommended j and j contracting for the home repair. The adjustor was amazing offering explanations for each area of repair and what to expect. My new wood floors look amazing! It was a long process due to some special trim parts that had to be custom made to match the rest of my trims but that did not stop them from getting the job done, I am so happy with the results.

This companys scam very dishonest they lie they have no respect for their customers they cheat so they did my master bedroom and downstairs living room carpet they cheated they put the cheapest carpets and carpet was connected piece by piece everywhere everywhere they cut it not straight, It looks like they use left over from other work or something they left my house dirty when I asked them to fix it they refused and they threatened me to put lean on my house, I when to the office Vicky the manager 1st she promised to fix it, and then she tried to ask me to lie to my insurance So they Can pay for the mistake they did .when I told her my insurance knows everything and I say no. everything went left she started turning around and blaming me she started digging my insurance how much they offer to pay to pay or before them the property management hire another contractor and she was digging how much they pay them why they fire them She was digging all the personal things that she dont suppose to this companys horrible very disrespectful, They threatened me to put lean on my house without fixing their own mistake they are scam they cheat please be careful I hope someone will do something about this company I called the office to reach out the owner they refused to give me their information I hope the owner sees this and do something please

Good job after my house flooded. They fixed my walls and painted them, removed the water soaked floor and replaced it with new better one . If my hour has another water leak, I know who to call .

I waited 2 weeks for scheduled date and called the Thursday before to confirm day and time. I was told all confirmed, they would be out Monday between 8 and 9am. By 10am, no one showed nor called. I called the office to learn that the roofers were off and not working (mine is a gate and carport repair) and the job has to be rescheduled to ...we dont know when at this point.Apparently my time means nothing. I had to arrange my schedule to accommodate J&J Construction. This is an Insurance claim and yes I will contact my Insurance company to explain my dissatisfaction with their choice of contractors.As an aside I had also requested a separate bid on another job...weeks later also after a phone call, Ive yet to receivea bid. Ill give the work to another company as this one seems to have too much work.A couple weeks later Luis shows up at my house to do an estimate. I asked what happened to the estimate that had been sent to my insurance company and that had already been reimbursed to me for repairs..He shrugged. I also wanted to know if this estimate was to be sent in to insurance company as additional charges..No response. Now this is all a mute point because I have never heard from anyone at this company again. Nor has the Insurance company. So beware of dealing with them.

I just used J & J to help bring my home back up to par after a water leak. They were a referral from a mitigation company that we used. I didnt know any contractors personally so we just went with them not knowing anything about it. I can say that I am so glad we decided to go with them! They worked directly with the insurance to get us a check as soon as possible. Once it came time for the work to get started a project manager named Bobby came to assess everything and ask us some questions. If you are interested in getting some work done to your home ASK FOR BOBBY. He was amazing! He was honest with us that our home needed a lot done to it so he estimated about 2 weeks worth of work would need to be done. A week later we were in our pretty much BRAND NEW home. Everything looked absolutely amazing. All of the workers were very nice and worked extremely hard all day. I was also onsite doing some minor repairs in other parts of my house and one of the workers even stopped what he was doing and offered to help me out with what I was doing. It saved me a lot of time since I didnt have all of the necessary tools on hand!All in all this was the best experience I have had with a contractor. Consider me a lifetime customer!

Thisis the second time Ive had work done by this company, the first experience was great no problems.The second time was very awful, workers were rude, disrespectful, the job was paid for and they took 2 weeks to complete a very small portion of my kitchen. I specifically asked them not to send these 2 workers back to my house because of their lack of professionalism and who shows up? Yes the same 2 guys, praying nothing else goes wrong, but if it does I will not use them again.

Oscar and his crew were just amazing. I didnt need to say anything because they were ahead of my concerns and issues. I have already and will be recommending them to my family and friends. Its so hard to find such a great company and they exceeded my expectations. I wont forget the office staff because they were excellent too!!

We had major water damage in our house and they made everything look brand new quickly and efficiently. We have no complaints about the service we received.

Having a flood in your home due to no fault of your own-- not fun. Dealing with multiple insurances-- not fun. Having to live through months of upheaval, really loud fans, demolition, re-construction, you name it-- not fun. But what could have been a complete and utter nightmare was actually substantially mitigated once we were introduced to our project manager Cesar Romero at J&J. He couldnt have been nicer, truly. He is a consummate professional, always there to answer questions, offer an opinion (after the 59th question: do you want this or that? youre basically like, I have no idea, what do YOU think I should do? and his response was always, well, if this were my place, Id do X, which I very much appreciated. And btw he has great taste). He couldnt have been more patient, kind and wonderful. Honesty is something you find more rare these days sadly-- but he gave us a quote and that was the price. He said hed show up, he did. He called when he said he would. He said his crew would be there, they were. At the time he said. He told us upfront exactly what to expect, and thats how it went. He ran point between me and the crew saying he didnt want them to have my direct phone number-- a level of professionalism that I very much noted and appreciated. Having some level of certainty and trust in a process filled with unknowns was unbelievably reassuring. I couldnt recommend him and the team at J&J more highly -- hopefully you dont need them because if you do, you just experienced some trauma, but if you do, it makes you feel better to know there are definitely some good, honest, decent companies-- and people-- out there.

The J&J contracting team were so efficient and professional. We had water and wind damage and they made the process of getting our house restored wonderful. They were perfectly on time each day, got the job done quickly and made sure that we were pleased with the results. They were great!

In November 2019 my 25 year old home my 25 year old home experienced significant roof leak in two places. in two places. Emergency work to dry out the house was performed by another company who proved to be unreliable and uncooperative with respect to making the internal and external repairs. After obtaining three assessment and bids from different construction companies I chose J&J Contracting, a preferred contracting company from my insurance.To begin with, my insurance company (Allstate) farmed the estimate out to a Texas adjuster who woefully underestimated the extent of the repairs. Fortunately, J&J, as they promised, worked diligently with the newly assigned adjuster and worked out a reasonable settlement.The first repair involved the roof and Zack Franklin was given the responsibility as project manager. Although there were some early miscommunications internally with their roofing arm, Zack always returned my calls within minutes, listened to my concerns and immediately effected any needed corrections. He is extremely personable, customer oriented and makes no excuses for less-than-perfect results.The internal water-damaged repairs were assigned to Carlos Franco (with Zack as my backup in case Carlos dropped the ball). Carlos and his crew exceeded expectations. After he assessed the damages, Carlos estimated a 4 day job which was completed in 4 days. Carlos followed up 3 days after the job completion to make sure we were satisfied indicating anything amiss he would rectify. However, the job was perfect.Also shout out to George Parks, a senior member of the J&J team who worked behind the scenes to make sure my wife and I were happy with the work.I can recommend without J&J Contracting without reservation and we will use them again for repairs and remodel in the future.

The work completed is nice. However, J and J purchased the flooring from a warehouse that carries primarily discontinued products. After several calls, J and J has been unable to tell me what flooring they installed so I can match it in my other room. I hope I never damage a piece because I will be forced to replace the entire floor.

Our rental home recently had water damage and needed drywall, paint and flooring repair. Bobby V. and Edgar came out and took very good care of us. We are happy with their work and follow up. I would use J and J again if needed in the future and will have be happy to recommend them.

J&J did a great job from start to finish! The work that was done on our home after a pipe burst in the kitchen. Starting with George Parks coming to assess the initial damage and getting a crew out to start drying/tearing out all the baseboards, drywall and cabinets to prevent further damage and mold. The second team to arrive was the packers/moving team that removed and boxed up all our personal belonging into a pod while repairs we being done. Kudos to Luis Aceves and his team for the quick turn around once insurance approved the repairs. We had been out of our home for approximately 3 weeks living in a hotel when I told Luis I would like to be back in the house before the Christmas he was quick to make sure that happened! He also made sure to get a cleaning team out before we moved back in. They did an amazing job to include bathrooms, kitchen, pictures, ceiling fans and much more! They did an amazing job and in the end you would never have known there was a problem.I would highly recommend the entire team at J&J Contracting if you are looking for things to be done right and in a timely manner! As seen in many stories before, working with these people will get you nothing more than, missed or late appointments, terrible quality of work, no accountability, and so forth. I had my home damaged by water from a water heater. Little did i know the majority of the damage would come from J & s employees. Im also excluding the missing items. Everything from damaged couch to broken window. Stay away from these people if you can.

I had an extremely good experience with this company.I sent them a message via Yelp and they replied right away, they worked around my schedule. Showed up on time to provide a free estimate, they priced a very reasonable price to get the job done. They did a good job in a timely manner.What else can you ask for?

We looked for referrals from several friends that had remodels done on their home, and could not find any. J&J was suggested to us by the water remediation company, and we couldnt be happier. The workmanship was top notch, and they were done our bathroom remodel much faster than we expected. I would highly recommend them.

They fixed our garage when our water heater burst a few years back and they did a good job. So when our upstairs laundry room flooded & water leaked through the ceiling downstairs we knew who to go to. Bobby was the project manager assigned to us and we were glad we got him. He is awesome and visited frequently while work was being done. On few occasions, I would call him after hours and he would pick up every time. With the stress of having to deal with the house Bobby was a delight to work with. Everyone that came to the house ( from cabinets, flooring, plumbing, baseboards, painters, etc ) were so professional and did an awesome job and if there was something that needed redoing, Bobby would immediately send his crew to fix it.

J&J were wonderful to work with. After a disastrous experience with other contractors it was refreshing to work with contractors who were so professional. They were responsive, always listened to my concerns, showed up when they said they would show up, and most importantly did great work. I felt like my flooded, disaster of a house was finally under capable hands when they started their work. You can’t even tell where the damage was now. On top of all his amazing-ness, when they couldn’t provide the exact cabinets I wanted, they actually told me they wouldn’t sell to me because it wasn’t exactly what I wanted and they believed I should get what I want. They truly care about giving you quality work through professionalism and kindness. My project manager, Bobby, was a joy to work with. I will absolutely use them for all my general contracting needs in the future and recommend you do to!

Our reverse osmosis system sprung a tiny pinhole leak that caused damage to our hardwood floor, 2 interior kitchen cabinets, drywall and baseboards. J&J contracting were here the day after our water damage with a water saturation detection device which determined what had to be removed and reconstructed. A crew of demolition guys did the rough removal. Then as our project manager described the surgeons came in trade by trade. Hardwood floor surgeons, drywall surgeons, cabinet surgeons and granite surgeons appeared in a sequence to complete the renovations necessary. The crews were all very polite and respectful and yes, they were all surgeons! They did an excellent job in putting the pieces back together again! Im happy to have my kitchen back and we have kicked the RO system to the curb! I would highly recommend J&J for any renovations you may need!

Its rather interesting that all the reviews are either one star or 5...... My experience is a 5 all the way: J&J just left after doing new drywall install after a hot water heater rupture. I can say without a doubt I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat. They removed my hot water heater, installed new drywall, painted, and re-installed the water heater in under 5 hours. They even scrubbed my garage floor to clean up and bought a new pan for the water heater and re-strapped the water heater to the wall anchored to a stud (which it previously was not.) They even left me a can of paint and came in on a Saturday to do the work when they technically are closed! Totally worked around my schedule which is awesome. Everyone I dealt with was super friendly, nice and overall very pleasant. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. The one stars I suspect are isolated instances and not a true representation of the company. They certainly dont reflect my experience.

I had a flood in upper condo. George is fast talker . His estimates are over priced check fine print before signing . They damage furniture said it was there.I wouldnt hire them again. Deadlines are not accurate . Over priced on packing and storage. To many games and b.s . There work is not professional or quality. Be careful . I have multiple text emails and pictures. Constantly fighting them between George Bobby and supervisor micheal. Highly priced and not qualified fought them on subflooring they wanted extra $5000 they told me I didnt have it and insurance wasnt going to pay . I went to Lowes got price of 500.00 than George said $1700 I proved to them numerous pics what i had insurance paid. My vanity wasnt installed correctly . Than there were to many mistakes. They removed backsplash I had in bathroom vanity without talking to me the person who they told me to use never told me vanity to high it had to be removed until they installed it it cost me over $500 3 months ago to put that in now its gone. Finally I got my place back on late March wasnt than until it got done They put vanity wrong faucets in sink had leaks.Painted doors in closets shut. George told me it was finished Bobby project said no . Runaway from to many headaches. UPDATE CAME HOME 6 MONTHS LATER TO LIVE IN CONDO FOUND OUT GEORGE TOLD ME THEY REPLACED THE MIRROR IN BATHROOM REMOVED BACKSPLASH. CALLED NUMEROUS TIMES NO RESPONSE ASKED FOR $500 TO REPLACE WHAT I HAD 2 MONTHS BEFORE PIPE BURST OR CUT DOWN MIRROR AND REPLACE BACKSPLASH. GEORGE BLAMES BOBBY . BOBBY BLAMES GEORGE BLAME GAME. ALL I WANTED TO BE MADE HOLD OF BACKSPLASH EITHER MONEY OR FIX IT.I HAVE PICKS OF BATHROOM WHEN FIRST BOUGHT HOUSE THAN PICS OF RENOVATION I DID THAN PICS OF RENOVATION J AND J CONTRACTING DID. ASK FOR OWNERS TO CALL ME BACK NUMEROUS TIMES NEVER DID.

I had a water leak that needed immediate attention and from the first visit until the comletion everyone was excellent all under the direction of George Parks-amazed how easy it was becasue of their efforts and professionalism.

I have loved working with J & J Contracting every second! We had a leak and they replaced the tile flooring, baseboards, wall damage, perfectly matched the paint already there, new counters, painted cabinets, back-splash, added shelves in the pantry and a few other things.The project manager made contact with us everyday, and stopped in to check on progress. They were very accommodating to my needs and concerns with having 5 small children at home during the whole downstairs renovation. Manager Bobby was awesome. I had a tired 22 year old home and it was time for an update. This was my first major renovation and I approached it with dread. With his guidance and spot on suggestions my home is more than I have dreamed that it could be. His selection of fixtures for the bathrooms and kitchen elevated the rooms from drab to spectacular. I am so in love with my gorgeous home.

I am so happy that I went with the company for my home repairs. My home flooded and major repairs were needed and my insurance company provided me the choice of using J and J and I did. Larry was very helpful and put me at ease when I was freakinOut. He did a great job of explaining the process and that really helped me calm my nerves. Mike was my project manager and he made sure that I was satisfied throughout the process and if I wasn’t he made sure to make it right!!! The pack out/ in crew were very nice and organized and treated my home items with care. Through the process I went by my house several times and encountered the repair crew and they were nice people. The guys that installed the baseboards did a great job and paid attention to every detail. My floor is awesome!!! Bottom line, if you want your home repaired the right way hire J an J contracting!!!!

Hopefully if you use them for water damage restoration you do not need your home in a hurry. had a flood from a bathroom that flooded the hole house and this happen in February, finally got everything done in July. when the furniture come back there was missing items. the house had to be packed out to replace the hardwood floors, they dropped the boxes with no packing slips and many more items missing, and broken. it was as if there was on one in charge of the project, We ourselves had to do the punch list of what still needed to be done. Now we have found that they never reconneded the water line to the refrigerator, so now we get to pay more to have this fixed correctly.Took them 6 months to do a job promised to be done in 6 weeks,many things missingNo communication, had to call them to find out when they were going to complete the job. Many added expenses due to the extent of time it took to complete the job.would not hire them to walk my DOG..

Bobby made sure that I had a flat floor,,, it was all busted up,, gave me my choice of new flooring,, and handled the drywall and paint repair in a very timely fashion . My project manager Bobby was great! I had water damage and he made the process of getting everything repaired much easier and made sure it was done to our satisfaction.

We had J&J fix our place due to water damage earlier this year. Ill say the repairs were alright, although they had taken a little longer than expected. The reason for the 1 star review is due to theft. The guys that had been assigned to work on my place had stolen a diamond ring, an external hard drive, and a few other items. I had called the company after I discovered that the ring was missing so that I could talk to the supervisor of the team that worked on our place and apparently hed been let go. I can only assume his team was let go as well.

This company is horrible. They took 4 months to do our kitchen which I feel like it could been done in 2 months.. They played my mom money wise. They trashed my room and our bathroom. Lied about things they were suppose to do. One of there crew members pissed in a bottle left it in room gross. They also messed my mom beautiful mable tile floor. People dont even deal with this Joke of a company..

Our upstairs toilet had a broken flange & caused a water leaked which damage the subflooring & the ceiling. Bobby Varela (Program Manager) along with Ricardo Alcaraz came out to assess the damage. Repairs started immediately the same day. Painting was done the next day to allow the drywall texture to dry. Excellent work!!! Outstanding job!!! Thanks!!!

J and J repaired and matched my ceilings and walls after water leak damage, they were willing to work closely with me to ensure the outcome met my expectations.

Bobby and his team are very unprofessional and unreliable. They put a floor in my livingroom that was chipped cracked and even had paint on a piece. He never knows where his workers are. I called him because they were supposed to be at my house between 8-9 to replace those pieces and he has no clue where his crew is and says Ill call u back. Well its now 10:15 and havent heard a word back from him. And I made arrangements for someone to meet them there bcuz I have to work. So now this person is inconvenienced. This team and company are very unprofessional. I would not recommend them to anybody.

Their the worst company I have come across. I regret to have hired them. Their not professional, they blame one another for their mistakes. They dont meet deadlines and damage items in your home. Your better off with any other company. What a wast of my time and money.

These guys are awesome! If your house is flooded call these guys. They have help us in many circumstances.

Unfortunately, my insurance company hired these guys so I went with it. They were unprofessional from A-Z. The office staff has very broken English, they don’t call to confirm workers will be in the way, and the offfice staff continuously hangs up and does not communicate when trying to resolve issues. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.

Do not use these unprofessional guys, and the unprofessional team they possess. I had no say in contracting them to do my emergency dry out. They damaged every piece of furniture in my house. The stacked all my expensive laptops,computers,and electronics on top of my bed, then added even more boxes and heavy items on top of that but they made sure to cover the mess and damage with plastic wrap. The also stacked my kids beds on top of each other and damaged everything else they could get their hands on. The left my 2000 dollar stainless steel stove and dishwasher out side in back yard uncovered and unprotected. And that doesnt not included the damage to my living room set the stacked in my kids room and then piled more stuff on top of that. When they finally called to follow up with the matter April 21 2016 the owner so he claimed to be could not finish apologizing for the unprofessional work his team did. He even said that they where no longer there. Then he tried to get me to agree to give him the remodel contract. Yeah right!!!! OK. Then today 4-22-16 he comes back with his brother and argues with me and tried to find other people to blame. The owner even admitted that I was the 5th disaster job that his crew that was run by Sam had completely messed up. People be ware they are nothing but unprofessional, professional scammers.

They thought they had a blank check to do all the work but when I told them they had a limit thats when everything went south.they gave me no estimate or invoice.they went ahead and started demolition with out my consent.do not hire these guys

Im thankful for this company,workers were professional and kind,but the workers who put my tiles did a terrible job,they put in the wrong color grouting, was very unhappy they left grouting on walls bathtub n damage to many of my walls,worst tile job evet
