Called 3-4 places with 4 star ratings or better only to get gimmicky sales pitches. I told Curt the issue and immediately he knew the problem. Need I mention he was a 1/3rd of the price from the other quotes I had received. Great customer service... funny guy and lively character. Thank you. Also from call into shop and and scheduling service it was insanely quick. He said hed be here in an hour and was here in 30 minutes. About 45 minutes later our $4,000 TV was back in operation as normal. Thank you Curtis.

The proprietor, Kirk, demonstrated his good service and technical wizardry by repairing our Funai VCR machine that was starting to balk at playing cassettes, but then was dealt a fatal blow when my wife yanked out the balky cassette by force. This guy is amazing. He provides not only services but very personal & professional. I need to repair the circuit board for the controller of the swap cooler (Not for TV which he specialize in). He looks at it and indicate the problem immediately. He does not have the part for it but he took out parts from other electronics board and re_design to fit what I need. For all that works, he charged me only $ 20. Also, during waiting time for the tool get warm up, he also play Guitar & sing for you. What a sense of humor which he has. Very good work & very low price.

I called to see if Kirk could fix my Vizio 29 TV. He said yes bring it in. So, on September 26, 2015, I took it in. He told me that he would check it out and let me know what was wrong. He called me back the same day. Told me that price of the part and asked for a deposit. So, I drove there and gave him the money. I was told it would take a couple of days to get the part. And then he called me and told me that my TV was finished. So, I dropped it off on a Friday and was able to pick it up the following Friday. He is a very friendly and does good work for a very fair price. I would recommend him to anyone who wants good service.

!!!!!!!!!BEWARE!!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN! He is a JOKE! I took my TV in there for a free estimate. He called the next day saying it was the mother board that was out. He told me he needed a deposit in order to order the part he needed to repair it. Cool. So the next day I went down there and gave him the deposit. He told me it would take 3-4 days to receive the part, then 3-4 days to install it. Perfect. A MONTH LATER I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY TV. He claims the company he ordered the part from sent him a defective part...twice. And that the shipping/return process for the defective parts took 10 DAYS. Still, I gave him a chance. Another week passed and he didnt notify me of anything. So, I went down there with my receipt and demanded an explanation. I get there and theres my TV in a corner, hadnt even been touched. I told him I no longer needed him to fix it and that I wanted a refund and my tv back. He didnt have the money to refund me my $60 and told me to return. He also lost my remote control. I am not counting on getting that money back. I would call this business PICTURE PERFECT FRAUD! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!

I called Kirk about smoke that came out of the back of my 67 Samsung rear-projection TV. While I could have just bought a new TV, I thought Id take a shot at fixing it, since its worked perfectly in every way up until this point.I took the modules out of the TV myself in the hopes that it might be obvious what was wrong with it - nothing. Kirk asked several questions over the phone, and ultimately we both agreed that it might be best if I brought the modules by and he would diagnose them for me. I did so, and left the parts with him. A day later he called to let me know that there was a bad capacitor on the power module that had caused a dead short in one of the chips (essentially frying the unit, eliminating the possibility of just replacing the bad capacitor). He said that the warehouse here in Vegas had one left of the part I needed, and with my okay he would order the part for me ($56) and hed charge me $75 for the diagnostic. I agreed, and was able to pick up the part the next day. I reassembled everything, and it fired right up like nothing was ever wrong. I thought Id check Google for the part number to see if I could have done better myself online, and wouldnt you believe - everything online was $20 - $30 MORE than what I paid, plus they all charged shipping. How often does that happen? Never. I think the $75 diagnostic fee was totally worth it, no way I would have figured that out by trial and error, and Im fairly inclined when it comes to DIY repair.Kirk will regale you with his guitar playing, and youll get an education in Doc Watson and country/bluegrass music while youre there - plus hell fix your TV. I will absolutely return here with future TV issues.

Went there with a circuit board I could not find and asked if they could check it out and repair it. the owner, Kirk checked it out and suggested it might be cheaper to just replace it. So he spent over an hour trying to locate a local company for me to buy a new board. When he found one they were closed so he asked me to come back on Monday. When I returned and contacted the company we were told they did not carry the board. So, Kirk spent another hour and Definitely reminds me of businesses of long ago where the goal is customer service satisfaction and service. Kirk was such a help. After a crazy accident we needed a new projection screen and those are really hard to find now since they are not available anymore. I called the shop earlier today just to ask a question. I spoke with a man who was more than happy to spend his time from his work day to answer my question. He helped me over the phone with finding a replacement part for my tv then said, if I find the part, or he does first, that he would come out to my house and fix for only 100 bucks. talk about cheap. And its all about service and quality. He will not let you waste your money on an item thats going to break in a couple of months. When he fixes, Im sure it stays fixed, and if not, Im sure hell handle it personally. He just seems like that kind of guy.... and he tells great jokes as well... looking for the part as i type and when I find it, Im defiantly giving him a call back.

06/06/15Today I had a relay burn up on a motherboard controlling my Aqua Logic pool monitoring (salt cell) system. I had three choices. Either replace the entire Aqua Logic system for $1400 or replace the motherboard for $400 or replace the relay for $40. I wasnt sure if the relay was the problem. After disconnecting the leads I noticed arcing and discoloration of the relay. I then took the relay and the motherboard to Picture Perfect TV & VCR Repair to see if they could swap the bad relay with the good relay. The relay was changed within 40 minutes with precision and now my pool system works PEEERRRFFEEECT!!! Great customer service, I was quoted prices close to 300$ to replace a lamp in my mitsubishi tv even for people who had the part in stock. I called Picture Perfect and Kirk wasnt having luck finding the part right away so he said he would call me back.He called back within minutes said he had found the part for way under the recommended price and even told me it would be inexpensive to order it myself than through him. and he would install it at a fair price. I have a Samsung DLP TV and I was experiencing the White Dot issue. I called and spoke Kirk and he knew right away what the problem was and what I needed. He didnt over charge me for anything, the price was very fair and there were NO hidden fees like some of these repair places. He was able to order the chip I needed right away and within a week the chip came in and Krik came out to my house and fixed my TV. I no longer have any White Dots and the picture even looks better than before!! I will definitely recommend Picture Perfect to anyone with TV issues.

Terrible place to do business with!! My husband and I took our television set here to be repaired on June 9th paid for the service in full and was told by the owner that our set would be ready within 7 days. According to their sales receipt it states after 10 days of receiving payment and property not being picked up you then forfeit your property to them. I called to find out the status of my repair and got no response. When they returned my call the owner told me his truck had broken down and he had a lot going on but the part to my TV was in and had been in for a while but he forgot all about it. I told him at this point Id rather have my money back then he got very upset and said no refunds all sales are final and he would have my TV repaired today. He said if I would have called him 10 days ago it would have been fixed sooner. This is a terrible place to do business with. They have terrible business ethics and poor customer service.

Mr picture perfect was on time.cleaned the inside of the tv, andd even took the time to set all the setting on our tv.we where very satisfied with his sevices.
