I have been getting treated at Rethink the Ink for a few months now removing a large, very densely packed black and grey tattoo on my neck, shoulders and back. I came here from a different clinic in California because I was burned and blistered there.In fact, I fly to Las Vegas from California every 8 weeks now because my experience at Rethink the Ink has been so wonderful, a complete 180 from my previous treatments in California. I purchased a package that was reasonably priced and am very pleased with my progress thus far.Kendall and Debbie both have amazing bedside manner and are extremely well trained. They discussed expectations with me and I am pleased to say that so far my tattoo is moving quickly. Although getting zapped by a 900 degree laser is not the most lovely feeling, the girls at Rethink the Ink are caring, patient and understanding about the experience. They have also both had laser treatment themselves so the empathy is definitely there.Once this tattoo is gone I will definitely be returning again to begin removing a tattoo on my leg.

What Kendall does is truly an art. Its so important to find someone who not only knows what theyre doing but is passionate about what theyre doing.Kendall found the perfect balance between accomodation and authority. She educated me the entire time. She was respectful of my tattoos and my body. She explained her reasoning for her approach and a realistic plan for total removal.Im confident Ill be doing this right the first time and thats because of Kendall. So many people have to jump around techs because of poor planning and lack of knowledge. Do yourself a favor and go to Kendall first.It did not hurt btw. Felt like tiny little bacon grease splatters, thats all.

It was my first visit. Im getting my scalp tattoo removed. Theyre very nice and informative. But it will be a while before I see how well they remove tattoos.

MARCH 2018: I’ve had 4 treatments performed on a large, colorful forearm piece so far and the results (in my particular case) are honestly disappointing. After finishing my 4th session with Sandra, I asked her about why there are HUGE missed spots in-between places where the laser hit, and was reassured those missed spots would eventually fade in coming weeks... even though the laser clearly didn’t hit them.It’s been about 3 months since my last session and those missed spots obviously remain unaffected from treatment. While Sandra is pleasant to be around and conversate with, book-smarts don’t compensate for poor execution. This procedure isn’t cheap, I expect accuracy and consistency when I lay out around $200 for a single session.UPDATE (OCTOBER 2018): The photos below show progress before and after 9 treatments with ReThink The Ink, 5 of those being treated with a new technician named Kendall.The trend I’m seeing here with this company is they’ll say or do pretty much anything to make their competitors sound horrible, dangerous and less experienced than they are, which is NOT what a reputable company would feel the need to do... so I reached out to a competitor who uses the PiQo4 and mentioned to Kendall how I’m seeing more dramatic results from their patients in comparison to what I’m experiencing here. Kendall had the nerve to immediately share a typical, graphic photo from Google of someone who experienced bad Laser Tattoo Removal in effort to deter my thoughts of continuing my treatments elsewhere, even offered to treat parts of my tattoo “under the table” and told me she wouldn’t mention it to her boss. That only amplified my decision to discontinue treatments with ReThink The Ink because again, a reputable company does NOT behave this way.Ultimately, the inconsistency here is unreal, period. The black ink is lighter but NOT light enough for 9 treatments and $1,000 later. I can clearly see where Sandra left off 10 months ago because Kendall hasn’t even made a dent in the colors!Hopefully I’ll have better “luck” elsewhere.
