1rst time here. Dr Cotter was very nice and took care of my issues. I am giving 5 stars because Dr and staff was nice but there were patients in waiting room who werent wearing masks or even had one with them.

I do not recommend this dermatology office. My main issue is that they up charge/ bill your insurance for higher amounts than what they should do. My son went to Dr. Cotter at LV Dermatology for acne/ accutane. I give 2 stars only because the accutane did clear my sons skin. Their billing department charges for covid cleaning each appt (saw no cleaning done, office never looked just deep cleaned). They also up-bill insurance so a 5 min checkup is incorrectly billed at the highest code and they tack on numerous over the top diagnostic codes to make it seem like its a multi- symptom checkup. They are driven to make money verses client satisfaction and care. In addition, be prepared to wait a long time once you arrive for your appt, it was approx 45 wait time for each appt.

I was suppose to have an appointment in Oct but received a call for an earlier appt. That was nice. Staff is very nice, Dr was very pleasant and super knowledgeable. Answered all my questions and looked at everything I presented to him. Im very pleased with this place. They sell products and they have many option for you to choose from.Thank you Las Vegas Dermatology. Love the location also.

Just move to this side from Henderson so was looking for new Dermatologist closer to our new home. Had to Waite 1 1/2 hrs for first patience appointment thought that was a little Excessive. Like the Doctor and staff were very friendly. Have another appointment in a month. Going to give them another chance if that long of a wait then time to find another DR.

I’ve been attending LV Derm and Dr HL Greenberg for years now. Despite having to wait over an hour past my appt time during my last visit, the staff is always friendly and warm. The assistants always stop by my room to say “hello” and welcome me back. HL is laser focused and his knowledge on all things derm related is phenomenal. I recently moved away and do not mind paying out of pocket or making special trips to visit them. Its a little more pricey than the norm, but worth it.

Dr. Greenberg and Dr. Cotter are the best dermatologists in Las Vegas! Ive had a difficult history of acne and hyperpigmentation, tried every over-the-counter and several prescription remedies without success. I exhausted all my resources and was on the brink of giving up on my skin until I found out about Las Vegas Dermatology.As soon as I entered their office, I was politely greeted by their inviting staff. Although they had several patients sitting in the lobby, the wait time was not as long as I anticipated.When I was seen by Dr. Greenberg, he made me feel welcomed and took the time to listen and devise a game plan catered to me. A lot of the time, due to high volume of patients, appointments can feel rushed, however I did not sense that at all during my appointment. Dr. Greenberg is attentive, understanding, knowledgeable, and passionate to give the highest quality of care to his patients. His colleague, Dr. Cotter, and staff of medical assistants also resonate the same passion for skincare. Everyone in the office seems so upbeat and happy to lend a hand, and my experience has been more than excellent.Lastly, I love how I can get everything I need here. They also offer services such as fillers/botox, laser treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, etc.Thank you for helping me feel more confident in my skin! I recommend Dr. Greenberg, Dr. Cotter, and Las Vegas Dermatology to everyone wanting a more healthy and beautiful life.

Great experience! Very friendly and I got exactly the result I was looking for. I saw some poor reviews, but I know you can never make everyone happy from working in the hospitality industry myself. Some people just come in looking for an argument.The doctor was speedy, but it didn’t feel rushed. He even suggested another dermatologist in the area I’m moving to next month. He also suggested a couple of treatments for issues I wasn’t there to address, but there was no pressure and the treatments were not insanely expensive. I’ll probably be back for at least one of them before I move!I would recommend Las Vegas Dermatology to anyone.

Fast, friendly, efficient! As a new patient, I was dreading having to wait to see the doctor. I was overjoyed that was not the case. I got in and out very quickly and my doctor was a dream come true! Dr.. David Cotter is an outstanding dermatologist. He is great with both of my boys who have skin issues. He addresses the problem and explains everything so boh my children and I can understand. My boys are very comfortable with him as they always have a great experience with him.

Update: In reading the combative, argumentative response to my review as well as any other remotely negative review, it should tell anyone exactly what they need to know about this office. Dr. Cotter did indeed say my other doctors lied to me. His words verbatim. One was a Primary Care doctor but the other was a certified Dermatologist. Do better!The office staff was very pleasant and the office appeared clean. Appointments seemed to be running 1/2 hour late even early morning. I had Dr. Cutter for my first appointment as I was referred to the office via a friend. (My friend never stated there were multiple doctors in the office so I had no idea to request a certain doctor) I found Dr. Cutter to be rather arrogant, condescending and not interested in anything I had to say. He quickly dismissed my prior experiences/testing from other doctors and basically said they lied to me. I will not be returning as his patient.

Fantastic experience! We know our 4 month old is in great hands when he comes here and we look forward to many years to come of clear skin and a Staff whole truly cares! The whole staff is amazing! Dr.Cotter is great and extremely knowledgeable! We will be recommending this place to everyone!

My husband has been treated by Dr. Greenberg for years and is totally satisfied with the care he receives. Today I saw Dr. Cotter for what I hope is a one-time issue and I found him friendly, professional and precise in his treatment. The staff is attentive and keeps patients abreast of wait times, etc.

Dr. Greenberg is a very well educated - brilliant schools attended doctor. His bedside manner is top notch. He addressed all concerns in one visit. I’m very impressed with him. Then we have the staffing, and his assistant Ellie;I had the best experience with all. Called twice for a nurse to call me back because of a small infection on my face after a biopsy was done and nobody even called me back.I had to go to another doctor to get help. The doctor seemed ok but when my face became infected they should of at least returned my call and prescribed a antibiotic or something.Even a return call would of been a start after I called twice explaining to them something was wrong.

Very impressed by my office visit. Well staffed. Efficient. Dr. Cotter seemed to know what he was doing and made feel good about my concerns.

Amazing staff! I was rushing at work to get to my very first appointment with Dr Greenberg and forgot to grab my purse (ridiculous, I know). I went up to the office to apologize and reschedule, but the wonderful front desk staff was super flexible and resourceful - I happened to have a picture of my ID and apple pay on my phone, so they checked me in with a smile within minutes. The medical staff was attentive and caring: they listened, asked questions and then explained the diagnosis and provided care instructions in writing. This place in an absolute gem, look no further.

This was my first visit today and the office staff and Dr. Greenberg were awesome. Very informative and took the time to talk to me and start my treatment right away. I would recommend this office to anyone I know! I’m so glad I found them.

Gosh I wish I would’ve gotten all this great service everyone keeps speaking of. My initial phone call checking to see if they provide studies, was answered by Wendy who is extremely rude and unprofessional! She made me repeat myself so many times and then had the audacity to snicker “under her breath” claiming I have a bad attitude. I have asked for her supervisor and have been on hold for over 10 minutes. I called from my other phone and it seems she is the only person answering phones, do you see how I am trying to put myself in your shoes Wendy? Now it’s too bad you are obviously over worked and probably under payed but that is no way to treat someone who has no clue who you are, can’t even pick you out of a line up but instead you want to throw blame on me and act like I have an attitude with you! Ps I am still on hold!

This is the worst practice I have had to deal with.They billed my insurance company over 100 days after my visit!Nevada law only allows these practices to bill your insurance company before 90 days after visit.They are now harassing me and I plan on suing them if I continue to be treated this way.

My mom is not tech savvy, so I’m writing a review on her behalf. She has been suffering from very unusual rashes that started to form wounds after she got covid. It has started opening and continued to get worse. It’s been a very hard time for our family as we’ve been trying to seek help for her pain and discomfort this past month. She’s been to the ER twice, and a primary doctor once. They have all been so dismissive. No time was put into trying to figure out what it could be. They just took blood and sent her home with nothing. No sense of urgency, etc. I was desperate for help so I took to social media to ask my audience on my beauty page if they know anyone who has experienced this.I got a few thousand replies, but the one I first opened happened to me someone telling me to check out Dr. Cotter. I immediately looked up his practice and called based on the amazing reviews. I was desperate for an appointment so they squeezed my mother in this morning. Otherwise the soonest was September, and I’m not surprised because they were fantastic. I am so beyond grateful for them caring for her like they did. She called me afterwards and said she had such a great experience. They took some blood and prescribed her an antibiotic cream. We are hoping she makes improvement, but in the meantime we are we are very relieved that she is in such good hands. Thank you.

I had my first visit hear a few months back. The appointment felt rushed and the doctor barely looked at my skin because I had to take my mask off to show him as most of my acne is on my chin area. He recommended a simple sulfur face wash and multiple facial treatments in their facility priced over $100. I left discouraged having already tried both before with no luck but felt the doctor was too busy so I didn’t say anything - which I do realize I’m at fault for. After coming home I read many reviews that were similar to my experience but the doctor insistently responds to every negative review shaming people for the way they perceived the appointment. I got my final bill today - exceeding $100 (after insurance cost) for what was less than a 5 minute visit. No hard feelings towards the practice but I will not be returning.

Dr Cotter is an absolute rock star!! He is always very friendly and welcoming. Goes above and beyond on regular basis! Staff super courteous and helpful!

First appointment there. Arrived at 920 for a 930 appointment time. Was greeted in hallway to confirm appointment time and date and was shown right into the reception area. Filled out paperwork for new patients no problem. Every one was nice and efficient however my only complaint was that I waited 45 minutes after appointment time to be shown into exam room. Do not know if this was due to overload on appointments that day or due to emergent issues in the office. Just seemed to me that appointments could have been better planed to allow for scheduling. Looking forward to next appointment in September and will be making my wife appointment in near future. Have also recommended this office to friends.

I have been in the very caring and competent hands of Dr. Cotter for more than a year. He has helped me with several situations, a few I didnt even realize I was dealing with. He is so well informed and educated that I know there is nothing that would escape his notice. I cannot recommend him highly enough and the office staff is wonderful, too!!

I went to med school with David Cotter. He was a bully, domineering, and an a-hole. He always seemed nice from the outside to most people but once you got to know him, he was a very different person. He had a Mormon friend in med school whom I knew, and apparently David didnt like how his wife looked. This Mormon friend used to study a lot, and David said if my wife looked like [the Mormon friends wife] then Id study all the time too. He also threatened me with physical violence a few times, which he mainly used as a way to control others. When I found out his bullying tendencies I stayed as far away from him as possible.

Relaxing, safe atmosphere. Polite desk staff. Exam room intake was professional and complete. Time spent with Dr. Cotter was refreshing, genuine concern, professional and knowledgeable while providing explanations and game plan options. As a retired health professional, I would highly recommend the practice.

Super fast, last minute appointment for a spot on my arm that was concerning me. Was able to work me in the same day after I explained my concerns. Office staff was great on the phone. Nurse/assistant was pleasant. The whole appointment took about 30 minutes start to finish. Dr. Greenberg was kind and professional and able to remove the spot that day for biopsy. Highly recommend.

This was my first dermatologist visit. Had a really good experience here! Friendly staff & Dr. Cotter was very nice and was able to help me quickly. Prescribed me exactly what I needed.

Cotter performed an excision on my lower back and he applied derma bond to seal the incision months ago. The 2” scar looks awful even though I was compliant with the post care. It’s wide, crooked, purple and uncomfortable from time to time. After my last appointment in April for an injection to reduce the keloid scarring, he was rude and standoffish. Which I thought was odd because he was typically pleasant toward me. After that appointment, I received a nasty dismissal letter from his office. I reached out to the office manager and Cotter asking why I was being dismissed. The manager told me I did nothing wrong and that I should see Dr. Strimling. I never give low ratings for doctors because I respect them. After reading his responses from other patient reviews, I can only imagine the response I will receive.

This company has it dialed in perfectly the people are very knowledgeable friendly and a pleasure to be around I have to drive from one end of the valley to the other to get there doesnt bother me one bit because I know when I am there I will be giving the best care possible change nothing.

I was very pleased from start to finish. Dr. Greenberg was extremely professional in a relaxed way and reassuring. My skin condition was looked at and treated, and I had a full body check. This was my first experience seeing a dermatologist. My doctor referred me to another dermatologist but there was a very long wait to get in. I was able to get an appointment here much sooner so I took a chance. My appointment was with Dr Greenberg. Everything felt rushed from the moment he walked into the room. He examined some areas of concerns very quickly, and basically just said he didn’t think they were anything serious. When I inquired further he didn’t offer any reasoning to ease my anxiety or concern. Instead said he could refer me for a biopsy and if it’s nothing, he would be correct, if it’s something I would be right. Yeah... he actually said that. When addressing the other issue I had with my scalp he basically threw prescriptions at me and wanted to see me back the following month. I had hoped to get some answers as I had been dealing with my scalp issue for a year already. I left extremely disappointed and less rich to the cost of my copay. Which wasn’t cheap.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL. OH, AND DID WE FORGET TO MENTION, AND SKIN REMOVAL? I recall the early stages of laser hair removal not being available for African American skin. Several years later there have obviously been some advancements.I already had Doctor Greenberg as my dermatologist who recommended laser hair removal, so I can end the battle of ingrown hairs from shaving, and the dark pigment that soon follows. After watching their laser hair removal video, I saw an African American man whose skin was just glowing after. So I thought if I did it, I would start with my neck. Thank god I didnt do my face!The day of my appointment, the aesthetician gave me the disclaimer that I could be rashy for up to two weeks. There is no mention of MY SKIN BEING BURNT OFF. It definitely wasnt a comfortable experience. Something to the equivalent of brief jabs of a tattoo pen or being snapped by a rubber band, as they describe it. The only saving grace is that it was just three minutes.But when checking out, I started to see the signs that something was not right. First, I smelled like burnt hair (and skin), maybe I would have thought this to be normal and familiar to the staff, but when the girls at the front desk were commenting that they think something is burning in the break room, then I knew something was NOT normal.As I write this, it sounds like something straight out of a sitcom, but it wasnt funny a couple of days after when my burnt skin started to peel away and exposed a pink layer underneath. Maybe someone with fair skin can get away with this being obvious, but not in contrast with my dark skin. By day-2 my neck looked like the beginning of leprosy. Day 3, so much pink was showing it looked like I had vitiligo.I called and scheduled an emergency appointment, only to have Dr. Greenberg try to play it down, that this is normal, and everyones skin reacts differently. He had the nerve to think I didnt know the difference from skin discoloration to an actually 2nd degree burn. And then tries to justify and compare this reaction to switching from straight razor to electric razor or epilating to waxing. Well, guess what Doctor? Ive done all of those, and the most Ive gotten was razor bumps. Which makes it more insulting that he thinks Im that stupid. Well, Im not.Maybe if Dr. Greenberg was in the room the day of the procedure to determine what settings the machine should be on, instead of trying to diagnose it from a picture taken by the aesthetician while multitasking, maybe this wouldnt have happened. Who knows. Im also not sure he took into consideration that African American skin in photography requires a specific kind of lighting as well compared to fair skin. So with that being said, and taking into consideration any shadow from my chin, basing settings on a picture may not be wise.I asked for a refund and Dr.Greenberg refused and said, I quote, The damage is already done, so he only gave me back the deposit I had given for the next laser appointment.That will be my last attempt at hair removal. I am MORTIFIED and have completely lost respect for how this was handled and Doctor Greenbergs casual attitude of their negligence. Along with NO RESPECT, comes NO TRUST in Dr. Greenberg and Las Vegas Dermatology to manage my skincare. SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT! Proceed with caution.

Dr. Cotter is a miracle worker‼️. I’ve had Psoriasis 36 years and now am almost 100% free❣️ Staff is amazing. Appointments are always on time. 👨‍🦼👩🏼‍🦯 accessible.

Having treated for several dermatology conditions for many years in New York and Connecticut at several upscale dermatology offices, I feel well qualified to review Las Vegas Dermatology. The doctors are both very competent and caring. The support staff is outstanding. Las Vegas residents are very fortunate to have such high quality dermatology services available. I wish my law office staff in Connecticut could be as welcoming and efficient as the staff at Las Vegas Dermatology. No need to look elsewhere- Las Vegas Dermatology is as good as it gets. PS. I consider myself to be a very hard marker but both Drs. Cotter and Greenberg get an A+ for being terrific, capable and caring doctors.

I had a problem. They gave me answers and solutions. It was straight forward and to the point. They were nice, polite, and considerate. I felt very nervous at first because of my problem but I didn’t think much about it at all later on because of the casual conversation between the doctor, his staff member and I. They seemed very open minded and understanding about the virus and everything going on but most importantly my skin problem. Yea it was fast and I wanted to ask more questions about my problems but he seemed very confident and efficient only time will tell if the medicines he subscribed will work.

I was VERY pleased with the office, DR. Greenberg and especially the Comprehensive exam, followed up with a clear DX and plan to heal my concerns.I have visited SEVERAL MD offices and have been mostly disappointed by the hurry up attitude that I often have experienced. My medical treatment is paid for through the VA Veteran program. I know they pay less than for private insurance.Norm K.

I saw Dr. Cotter yesterday, and I saw him a couple of weeks ago. I confused him with Dr. Greenberg. My review was for Dr. Cotter, but I am sure that if I ever see Dr. Greenberg, I will like him just as much. Dr. Cotter has a very pleasant personality and treats his patients so well. I find Las Vegas Dermatology to be professional, welcoming and friendly.I have met with Dr Cotter several times for cosmetic treatment and Ive always been more than satisfied. He explains all available options. There is no pressure. Im extremely comfortable working with him and I highly recommend him and Las Vegas Dermatology.

Went to Dr Greenberg for a couple of issues. Staff was nice, office nice, large easy to social distance in but didn’t have things marked off with DO NOT ENTER type tape or signs giving us a little credit for having lived for the last 11 months. Nice touch!Doc was great. Easy going, made quick but fact based diagnoses and that was that!Great experience. Going back in a month.

I was not expecting who turned out to be Dr. Greenberg. He is quirky, intense, humorous, and very genuine. He’s very competent and quick. Dr. Greenberg is so refreshing and different. Other physicians should take a lesson in his approach to patient/doctor relationships. He is young, progressive and maybe will shake up the “old guard”.

I’ve had problems with my acne, pores, and acne scars ever since I was in middle school and I’ve never had a solution to my skin or even seen a different until NOW! Dr. Greenberg, I don’t know what he did, but he completely changed my skin and I’m in shock. I’ve seen plenty of derms, taken many different kinds of medication, and tried different products and none of them worked for me. The only thing that I regret with Dr. Greenberg is not seeing him sooner.. I wish I had found him when I first started getting issues with my skin. Either way, I’m so grateful for him and his advice. Thank you so much to Dr. Greenberg and his staff. You guys are all amazing!!

During my first visit to Las Vegas Dermatology, a spot of skin cancer was found. I was given a date and time for the removal of the cancerous spot and it was quickly done. Ive been to two other dermatologists and they found nothing. I cannot tell you how impressed I was by Dr. David Cotters approach to my exam. He is the best! I wont go to any other dermatologist.

My husband has gone to Dr. Greenberg for many years. Dr. is not only reliable and intelligent, but thorough and hes sure to ask if you have questions. He is friendly and puts you at ease. Another very nice thing is he keeps prompt appointments!
