I was visiting Las Vegas, and did a drop in class. I was very impressed with the school (great mat space, clean lockers, great vibe) and very impressed by the black belt instructor, James. His instruction was top notch, clear, concise, and consistent with the Gracie way of teaching. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, as well as meeting two excellent students that I got to practice technique with. I only wished I lived here so I could attend this school!

Great program for kids. Age groups are appropriate and group size is optimal. The instructors really have a passion for what they do and are extremely friendly and professional. We have noticed positive changes in both our kids. Gracie University does not only offer physical training but also teaches kindness and examples of positive behavior based only Respect, Health, Citizenship and more. This is really an incredible program!

Great instructor and class. Learned many little details, tips and principles that will improve my Jiu-jitsu game in just one month. One of my favorite gyms in Vegas and Ive been to almost every gym here.

Ive been to other gyms that teach mma & bjj but nothing compares to Gracie University CTC, Jimmy is a great instructor makes it easy to learn jiu jitsu great breakdowns on the moves, cares about your safety, and your journey to continue to achieve your black belt. Other gyms I have gone to may show you 2 moves and then throw you into the ocean (rolling) with the sharks (higher belts). Ive had so many injuries and had to take time off from gym and work due to the injuries.. not to mention the disappointment or worry about coming to the next class and getting smashed and humiliated.. Not here at Gracie university they have a cirruculum which I love and its more focused on drilling & getting to actually practice the moves In a safe, supervised & friendly environment. You dont get humiliated or hurt every day which will discourage many newbies to martial arts.. Im so glad I got to experience the difference. And Im glad Jimmy opened up Gracie university here in Vegas where I know il be able to learn Jiu Jitsu the right way the way it should be taught. This school is for all young, old, male, female, new to martial arts or experienced bjj people, Im sure all will enjoy the cirruculum, atmosphere, and the attention to detail in instruction that makes it so easy to learn. If your reading this you should definitely go check out the classes. The only regret I have is not signing up sooner. All around great happy to be part of the Gracie University CTC here in vegas 😀

I am from out of town, but I was recently able to drop in at Gracie University Las Vegas for a whole month to train. From the moment I walked in the door I was treated like family. Everyone was respectful and focused on getting better together as a unit. Professor Clark is a black belt under Rener Gracie so I expect good instruction, but my expectations were drastically exceeded (he’s been doing BJJ for nearly 30 years). He is a next-level caliber instructor. I can’t wait to take some of the things I learned back to my home gym to my training partners! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned veteran of the art, this gym has something for you.

One of the best things to have come from 2020 for me was finding Gracie University Las Vegas. I’ve always wanted to learn self-defense through Jiu Jitsu and it has been a blessing to have met Jimi and Jen who are the owners/instructors of the school.Jimi has almost 30 years of training in Gracie Jiu Jitsu and is so passionate about the art and is very thorough in breaking down the different techniques. Jen is so kind, sweet and welcoming.I highly recommend the school for anyone who is wanting to learn self-defense. There are many different classes/programs offered such as Combatives, Bullyproof for kids, Master Cycle and Women Empowered.

I havent done martial arts since I was a kid, and I do not have very fond memories of it. Coming into Gracie, I was unsure if it would be a good fit. But after the first class, I was excited to come back and learn more. Everyone has been so welcome, friendly and encouraging. They were very adamant that if I decided it wasnt for me, there was no pressure to join. And having the contract be month to month was perfect for me and my job. I was eager to start my 10 day trial - I signed up right after my intro class - and have learned so much in a short period of time. Im also very excited to learn more self defense in the Women Empowered class. I highly recommend coming out and giving it a try. Even on days when Im the only woman in the class, everyone gives me high fives and slaps me on the back. I feel like part of the team. And seeing the kids class is heart-warming; it really is a family environment. Im happy I decided to stop by.

Absolutely an amazing Self Defense Jiu-Jitsu experience. I love everything from the BIG beautiful green mat to the instruction from Jimmy and Adam and everyone in between. Its really an exceptional self defense martial arts school. The curriculum is awesome, it’s like a road map to your next belt level....from Blue to Black Belt starting with Gracie Combatives which is SUPER Dope...36 techniques to “street readiness”, than Master Cycle for Blue Belt and above. They also have kids classes, “Gracie Bully Proof”. Ohhhh and the “slices” that they break down each technique into is exactly how Ryron & Rener teach on the videos. I’ve been following the Gracie Breakdowns for at least 2-3 years now, it’s nice to know that I can get the exact same self defense training that Ive watched so many times.
