Well...Lowe’s is a ‘location and employee specific’ result as well. Woman/Supervisor advised me the line I was in was gonna have her people do something else But ‘self-checkout’ could help me instead.I politely stated I have no problem with waiting for them to become available (it was my turn at the register)...and she stated again that I could be helped at the self-checkout, by the person there...or she could open up a register and help me herself.I explained that I choose to NOT do self-checkout and I will either wait (for the person standing in front of me) to be freed up or walkout without purchasing the items...but if she wishes to do the checkout at a regular register, I’d be fine with that.She stated she doesn’t understand what the problem would be with the self check out because the woman is there to help me out a regular register as well as self check out… I explained that I do not believe in supporting call checkout services because it leads to less employment for the employees that would otherwise be working those registers. The main issue: the tone of voice and attitude of the woman that was one of frustration send her literal words of “I just don’t understand why”...So I tried to politely state I will just choose to do this transaction at another location at an hour and she became a little bit more aggressive/hostile. Voicing again the house she does not understand why it’s such a big deal and that she’s willing to help me at this other register… I explained at that point it was an issue of not appreciating the tone of voice and attitude that she was projecting my way.Unfortunate.I’ll shop down the road at my regular Lowe’s instead.
1st time at this location. Nice, clean, good lighting, most self checkouts were open. Well large garden area, and well maintained. This location is easily accessible, on corner of Russell/Eastern. I was picking up someone at the airport and this location is perfect for spending a little time before they arrive and let you know what # pole theyre at. Very convenient. Its in a large shopping area with many stores, ample parking, and well lit outside for safety. One of the nicer lows Ive been in.
Im a fan of Lowes, easily the most helpful staff n if they dont have it theyll get it. Order on line n pick up is great .
Closest to my work location have not had a bad experience and it means alot make trips to lowes about 2 a week if not more

This store is fantastic. It was clean and super organized. The staff here is so incredibly helpful and friendly! I was asked if I needed help in literally every section of the store! It was a night and day difference from their major competitor (y’all know who I’m talking about) and it made finding everything I needed so easy! Their whole staff seemed legitimately happy to be there. Such a great experience.
I locked myself out of my car, a few weeks ago, and had to call AAA to open my vehicle. After that experience, I went to Lowes (St. Rose & Eastern), in search of a duplicate car key, but they did not have the key I needed in stock. So, I went into Lowes (Eastern & Russell), this morning, in search of that particular #28 key. I was searching for the key when I was approached by a nice worker, Beverly, who asked what she could help me with. I advised her of my predicament and she proceeded to help me search for the key. She first made sure that #28 was, in fact, the key I needed. Once she verified it was correct, she searched the key carousel, but she found there was no #28. We both came to the conclusion that this may not be a key carried by many places, including Lowes. So, she advised me to call ACE Hardware store to see if they have it in stock. I wanted to do a survey, online, and express how happy I was with Beverlys delightful personality and willingness to help me. She is truly why I rated this review 5-stars because she gave me your level 10 service.
Very bad experience at this store, went in this past Monday with my mom who needed a refrigerator. The salesperson who was Trevor sold us one and told us it would be delivered next day. We were so happy on how fast the delivery would be. Next day I get a call from Trevor early morning telling me that the refrigerator purchased was damaged and could not be sent out for delivery. He advised we could come into the store to pick another one out or get a refund. My mom ended up picking another refrigerator which was $150 cheaper than the original one that couldn’t be delivered. I told our salesperson about the exchange and then he just said we were good to go, without giving me a new receipt or anything. When I asked him about the difference that should be refunded he told me it would go back into the card automatically. In my head this did not seem right so I went to customer service and the lady there said that I should be given a new receipt to register the appliance with the warranty that we purchased, but she couldn’t do it and I had to go back to the salesperson. Went back there and he didn’t seem like he had a clue took me back to customer service to the same lady and she seemed like she didn’t know how to do the transaction. She got on the computer and after 5 minutes or more tells us we owe $41. I don’t know how we ended up owing if the new refrigerator being bought was $150 cheaper. She called out someone by the name of Kenny and they kept asking for my phone number like 20 times. After 30 minutes of standing there I got frustrated and told them to just cancel everything and refund everything, well it took them another 20 minutes to figure that out. The lady gets on the phone with someone only for her to print a receipt saying they would refund $800 when we paid $941 all together. I then tell her that it’s incorrect and it takes another 10 minutes to finally get this right. It took like 4 people to help with this situation and over 30 minutes not to mention not once the store manager came out. They also misplaced my original receipt until they found it. Never shopping for an appliance here again or anything.

I frequent the store often, and it has always been a good experience. Today was even better. The gentleman in the paint department was able to assist me quickly and matched the paint color I was looking for after talking about other off the shelf options.
The employees are exemplary, which makes my visit worth coming back. 😃They are very kind here, very helpful, and so friendly. I love the way Im treated by the employees here. Everyone in the world should be treated this kind, anytime they go into an establishment, for whatever the reason. Thank you all at, Trop./Decatur Home Depot. We needed a water heater and what started out badly. Gradually turned out ok.
I recently had to overhaul my flooring for my commercial space. Doug in the Pro Department was the kindest and most knowledgeable person I could have ever asked to work with. He really worked overtime to make sure my experience was smooth and easy, and he really went to bat for me when working with contractors to make sure I wasnt paying for unnecessary items. I cannot say enough good things about him, and Ill only be working with him and this Lowes store for any future work.
Staff is friendly & helpful; if they have time the staff will even walk you over to the area where the item you seek is located instead of just pointing 2 miles away. They typically have a great variety IN-STORE, so you dont have to wait for shipping. Dont let the neighborhood fool you, this a great store.

Looking for a bbq. We went in and a gentleman frol Lowes crew came over asked our requirements and brought us to one that fit the bill. He also showed us a starter for briquettes that does not use the starter fluid. He also showed the unique grill top it had and how they work. We purchased both and left feeling well looked after. Good job.
The staff was friendly and ready to help, I had one employee helping me find a specific screw type and he searched and searched the selections available till we found a suitable replacement.
Sought out tools and hardware and spent a lot of time and quite a bit of money. It was all for work and included a lot of replacements: grinding wheel, drill bits in Cobalt and titanium materials. Good choices of all the sizes, ok prices. Tools are mostly made in China now, even with heavy duty American names. But hacksaws and hammers are fine expendable tools either way and Craftsman or DeWalt tools are still of quality.Also got hollow wall anchors with different pound ratings. Good choices and large quantity boxes.
Associates were very helpful when were couldnt find what we were looking for. Able to answer our questions as well and got us in and out without a problem.
Gentleman who worked there said he was from Alaska was very helpful. We didn’t buy anything from the store but he did tell us where we would be able to get what we needed. Super nice guy

Service was very good. A young gentleman helped me in the paint dept. I had to have a custom made gallon of paint for my garage door and he was helpful, and efficient. Checking out on the self check out was fast.

Do not get flooring installed from Lowes. After you pay its a nightmare. No one has a clue what is going on. Lowes tells you they dont know and gives you a phone number for installer. Installer never answers the phone. It was supposed to be done on July 1st. It is the 9th and have no one to contact to get answers.
I prefer Lowes over HD. To me their store has a better layout and a better vibe. In my pandemic year I was reading about indoor air purifying plants that do well in low light. I had a couple website lists saved in my phone. When I got to Lowes all the plants featured in the sites were there.

Contractor here...STILL far and away the worst store in the valley. Staff is ineffective, apathetic, and generally too involved in conversations with each other to help, if not on their cellphone that is... The store is usually in disarray, and why are the Lumber doors locked at 7:00pm? I dare you to try to take a 4x8 sheet of rock or ply to a regular front register and get out the door with it. The store is a mess,and seems to get worse every time Im forced to stop there.

My experience at Lowes on S Eastern Ave was great. The representative Marshall in appliances was awesome. He assisted me with everything I need, and the delivery of appliances at Lowes is free and they give discounts to Veterans.
Love the Garden Center staff here. I havent quite earned my green thumb yet, however, the staff here goes out of their way to explain the proper care of certain foliage and matches you with the best matches for what youre looking for.
If I could give zero stars that would be more appropriate. First off the app used my location to give me the absolute farthest location away. Forget the fact I selected the Lowe’s closest to me, the order still didn’t go there. Then I was told to call the store and they would bring it out. I called and called and called. No one will ever answer. So be ready to do in store pick up because curbside doesn’t exist. I used the app originally and they marked my order fulfilled when it was not. So then I could not mark I was there In the app. Then began the calling. And calling and calling. Finally went in and had to wait again. Super fun.
Website and store inventory dont match.Employee working self checkout said she would try to call for help but wasnt sure anyone would be able to help us in the shelving aisle.Otherwise the store isnt busy, so thats nice, because less covid is always a good thing.

All in all Im genuinely always happy with Lowes theyre my go-to shop they seem to have usually the best prices on most everything my only complaint is that they dont carry Milwaukee tools but hey it is what it is and Ive been pretty happy with kobalt for the most part. And their pro services is pretty convenient and pretty dang helpful so as usual they get five stars from me youre doing good lowes keep up the good work

They have what you need then some but the employees cant tell you anything when it comes to installing. Like sprinklers the piping and valves and time clocks . They didnt know anything and had zero advice or knowledge on how to install anything. Couldnt even tell me anything about the best materials to buy. I was highly disappointed. Its expensive to install irrigation and sprinklers. When you spend that kind of money it would be nice if the people selling it could be helpful with advice on how to install it..

Well, Lowes has warehouses of 150,000 ft or better but cant afford to hire a cashier! Plus there fancy computer system tells you what store has stocka and you then go to that store to find out they dont either!

Love Lowes! The store is always clean and the employees are super cool and friendly. Its nice walking into a store and you can tell that the employees enjoy being there. It makes a difference in the overall customer service that is given. You can always find help and suggestions for anything you are trying to accomplish. I think they have a better selection than the competition. They seem to be a step above everyone else. I love my Lowes.....and Im not just saying that because my daughter works there!

I unfortunately had a terrible experience with this Lowes. I purchased an open box dryer from them, which they told me was 100% working. Got it delivered and set up.... I spent a week trying to get it to work, until I finally called Lowes... they sent someone out who told me it wasnt set up correctly. They fixed it, only to than told me that the machine was actually defective and there was no heat. I had to schedule a pickup to have them remove it, than schedule a separate delivery for the new dryer. They were out of stock of the new one, so I had to physically drive to another Lowes to pay for the new one. It has been over 12 days, and they have still not refunded me for the original dryer they picked up over a week ago. I have called Lowes twice, and each time, no one was helpful, and told me I would receive it in 5-8 days. When I asked to speak to a manager yesterday because its been 12 days, they finally realized that my refund was never processed and now I would have to wait until 5-7 days to receive a check, which will than have to be deposited.Also, when the second dryer was installed, the door was put on the wrong way, so I had to call them to come out and fix that as well.The entire customer service was TERRIBLE. I I will go out of my way to never use Lowes again if possible.

Trying to get my bathroom floors done. Was told it would take 2 days to get my order together. Everything was in stock that all they need to do is put it together. Day 4 I called and was told they have been very busy however they were putting it together that day and I should be getting a call from the installers shortly. Day 6 called back and this guy Matt, who was extremely rude advising that they just got my stuff in which was a lie and they are getting my order together now. Meanwhile I have 2 bathrooms I can not use waiting on them for over 3 weeks from the start which is wait 4 days for the installers to come and measure. Then wait 3 days for lowes to advise that got the installers quote. Then this mess with putting the order together. And now waiting on the installers to call and set a date. This location went down hill in the last year for sure.

Didnt have the Kohler parts thry said they did. So, went to get a blind cut only to find out there machine to cut was down. Score a zero minus on this trip.

Everyone has their favorite big box retailer. Im a pretty handy around the ol homestead so I like Lowes. Why do I like Lowes? It is approximately 1 to 1.5 miles closer to my house than that other less close place. Pretty similar in that you can never find an employee in the department youre in. Gotta grab one as they are engaged in a 3 person conversation about thread depth on a machine screw. And they will find someone to call someone over the announcement speaker. Yay, now we all know i need roach bait and toilet parts. As for the products, each has their own store brand which they sell exclusively. I couldnt tell you which is which since it seems like they change the names with the wind! So its 6 in one hand, half dozen in the other. As far as Im concerned, Lowes is closer!!!! Tried to order curbside pickup for 2 items, and called to check in. When I started giving my name and spot number, i was cut off and transferred to the main line. Thinking it was a mistake, I call again. Before i can even get out that i am there for curbside i am redirected again. And again. I made sure it was the right number, and tried again. At this point, I walk into the store and physically pick up my order. While I am inside, the phone rings. The employee lets it ring so long I think hes ignoring it. When he picks it up to answer, I realize why his voice is so familiar. I make a comment about calling to check in. He makes an excuse about getting new phones. And quickly asks someone to cover him and leaves.
Always love going here it’s like a toy store.
