I pay 120 a month for gigabit. Have limited amount of data usage like its a 2010 phone plan. I get buffering when video steaming . It randomly shuts off several times a day for 5-10 minutes. Recently they have been going down for hours at a time. Nothing personal against this location, but cox is terrible. The best part is they have a near monopoly in Vegas so you dont have a choice.
Now this is how a store should be ran! The day I went to this location it was 119° F outside! One of the employees stationed at the door opened it for me as I entered the store and wished me a pleasant greeting. The attendant behind the counter I showed me forward quickly after dealing with her present customer. I had multiple items and multiple issues to handle and the employee behind the counter was so knowledgeable and well-trained that she went item by item issue by issue and tick each box off quickly, efficiently, and satisfactorily! The employee behind the counter then wished me a wonderful day and I return the gesture and as I went to leave the store the same employee who opened the door for me to enter open the door for me to exit and also wished me a pleasant day and I reciprocated. If this Cox location is out of your way please add the tent or 20 minutes it might add to your trip on to it because you will be handled swiftly, professionally, efficiently, and most importantly each of the aforementioned actions will be done with a smile and that is a rare commodity. Thank you Cox for caring about who you hire, how you train them, and caring enough about who you put behind that counter because they are the face of your company and the people at this store deserve 10 Stars not the five that can give them!
Daaam my bill is over 210$ every month!! Its costing me an arm leg for these prices!! Next month they gonna see me hopping in da store with 1 leg because daaam i do love my cable so much but Im dying from monthly prices please cox hook a brother up at least a soda or something
Went in last Monday to get a modem/router changed out. I was in and out in five minutes which was great. However the rep who helped me never actually activated the unit so I spend another half hour on the phone with support when I got home. I appreciate the in store staff trying to get my issue taken care of quickly. However I would happily been in the store longer if it meant they did what they said they did.
The crew is helpful and pleasant to us customers. They explain everything to their customers. All five who were working today were very informative and nice while helping us.

The guys who work here DO NOT WORK FOR COX! Be advised the building says Cox and they wear cox shirts but DO NOT work for them. Furthermore they r EXTREMELY RUDE! Theyre not helpful and have no business working in any sort of customer service capacity. Go somewhere else if possible and save yourself the grief!

I dont know if all the stores are the same way, but everytime I go to pay my bill the total is different, half the time they give you incorrect about products and services, and Ill price a product or service on their website before going and get a different, higher price in store. Also, most of the time the staff cant answer simple questions and I end up going to the company website and chatting with online help to get accurate information. I would like to see the employees perhaps trained better or required to know more about the products and services they offer.
I called and asked for the tech support # the guy gives me a number to a las vegas hospital. I thanked him and said no problem knowing he gave me the wrong info. These are the people you hire.. jokesters???? It must have been funny to him... well.. the jokes on him because i called corporate in Atlanta
Dishonest and absolute SH*T company. Terrible service, terrible customer service.They did not honor the advertised price AFTER signing up for service and taking my payment information, they raised the agreed upon amount. Still to this day the refused to change the pricing back ( I even have screenshots of all of the sign up process and pricing). Every rep I talked to made up a different story as to why the price is higher than what I signed up for, none of them even had the same excuse.I have now realized they have been charging EVEN MORE than the EVEN MORE that I was paying. They tried to sneak it in due to the account being on auto pay.DO NOT USE THEM. THEY SHOULD BE SUED AND SHUT DOWN, THIS IS FRAUD.
This place is great we literally pulled up at 6 right they were about to close and they were ready to leave they still helped us with five start customer service the manager was amazing every single employee was amazing they didn’t have to help us but performed above and beyond customer service for us. I literally can’t give them enough credit they made a customer for life with their customer service.

Never really get what I came for, and they always incorrectly tell me Ill need to pay a monthly fee for their service or equipment (total lie since its all included in my HOAs contract with Cox). Dont go here and never accept what they tell you.
Ever since New Years my wifi has been dropping a lot more frequently.Thats fine, Ive gotten used to it before 2021. But now my ping has been fluctuating from anywhere from 500-1000 and even higher often. I recently upgraded my modem and router significantly and got a better Internet plan. But now games are essentially unplayable. Im already dealing with wifi dropping during my classes or AP tests, now youre doing this? This is ridiculous. Dont you think its sad that I have come to accept and expect your wifi drops? And now this is happening? Why is the ping so horrendous?
Called to get internet service. Was told my information would be sent to retail store...arrived at retail store and no info received. Was not informed to bring my modem in to activate after informing the gentleman I’d be using my own modem. Poor communication and service. Do better.

This is the worst company Ive ever dealt with in my entire life! I was forced to use them because the apartments that I live at signed up with them and require it out of the tenants. They dont have enough employees in the store to take care of people when they come in in a timely manner. When they do deal with you they dont know what theyre doing. And also make sure you get a receipt when you return your equipment. They will take advantage of you anyway they can.

I came and signed in. 10 minutes later some other man walks in and gets in the que to be helped. He was helped before me and when I asked why did they skip me they said because the other guy called in ahead. I called ahead aswell and they told me to just come in. It wasnt fair that they let some other person get special treatment and just told me to wait. Did not have a good experience. When I finally got called up they told me that they were not able to give me my equipment when they had told me on the phone that I would be able to get it. Thanks for nothing Cox.

Very busy when I went in. Most were helping people, trying not to have the customer wait. This is good. However one guy was more busy entering in work he could do later, instead of helping his colleagues move the customers along. That, and the guy could have been more helpful of where and how to set up wifi networks. Nonetheless was a quick trip.
Why do I pay for gigablast when the fastest speed i get now is 240 mbps.. such a ripoff.. they wont give any discounts
The parking is really horrible and the service is really super slow. They can be a lot more efficient and it falls into that. Rainbow Charleston Plaza that I made a review about people in the parking lot are just way too fast for it to be so small accidents happen all the time.
Friendly Customer Service
Even though it was fairly busy in the store at the time we went we were still helped quickly. The gentleman that helped us wasnt too friendly but he was very knowledgeable and explained our product and services very well.

***PHONE REPS REVIEW***Worse company ever. All their customer service reps are unprofessional and are never able to fix any issue that I call them about. They always transfer me back and forth. I was paying $91.84 a month and just moved and they raised my price to $220 . They said because the rep that submitted my transfer order did it wrong so I am pretty much losing my price of $91 a month because of his fault? Then they tried to offer me a deal of $170. How do you compare 91 to 170? Definitely going to corporate for this one. They need to train their staff better or hire more professional repsBy the way when I ORIGINALLY signed up I signed up for a 81.94 deal for both cable and internet. Then after the 2nd bill they raised my bill to 130. Exact same thing. Corporate went back to phone conversations and honored the deal I signed up for just because of all the WRONG information SEVERAL of their reps gave me. So over this company.
Went in to pay my bill after it raising out of nowhere. A lovely young lady named Katie helped us and explained what was going on in my account and even fixed our slow router problem buy informing me that my router was old and upgraded me to a new one and activated it for me. She was so helpful and so polite and thorough, even with my tons of questions. Very glad to have went in and received this kind of customer service. Thank you Katie.
This Review is for Cox Service not this store. 2-3 times a week the internet/TV go out for several hours. They keep saying its unplanned outage and blame it on all the people working from home. No excuse as you collect a lot of $$$ from customers and need to improve the service.

Parking lot cramped but good service
Worst internet service I’ve ever had. My husband is in the military so we moved from Delaware with great internet for a third of the price. We move here with less options for internet and pay triple the price.My job requires me to have reliable high speed internet. I think it’s ridiculous they also won’t give a military member discounts off a military installation in their own home. Because of the lack of military housing on the base he’s stationed at, we can’t live on the installation.Then, they also require $75 to come out and check. Makes me sick!

Arrived just after store opened. Computers down and long line. Had to wait an hour just to pick up a router. Staff was friendly but operations seemed a little unorganized. Only one visit so may be better than my experience at other times. They will defiantly try to up sell you while your there

I can only get cox in my bedroom. But I need cox in my living room, kitchen, everywhere. I tried getting cox on my living room tv but I can’t get it to come. I need a real man to come out here and give me cox all over my house and not just my bedroom. I read other reviews saying their cox service is quick and friendly, but I need some long lasting, quality.
Open on Sunday, unlike Cox official store! The two gentlemen working 12/9/2018 at lunchtime were very courteous, efficient and effective! I was here a year ago and only had problems with swindling staff. It seems a change in personnel did the trick!

Cox reps are nothing but a bunch of liars very deceptive for a sale, I thought I was just upgrading my service come to find out I was charged $100. For changing my plan, I was also given 2 choices of service plans and I chose the one with a year service agreement, then they proceeded to send me a 24 month service agreement, which I was told comes with the security plan. Very irritating, I wouldn’t have changed my plan if I knew I was going to get charged an extra $100.

It’s like going to the DMV when going to these places. It’s hot, it smells, and it takes forever. There are only 2 employees working here with 14 people in the store. This is unacceptable!! At the very least, the temperature should be comfortable and there should be more seating area.

I was quoted $89 plus tax with a $67 deposit. When i got to rainbow store. It went up to 89.00 + 16.00 + plus tax. Looks like you could make your minds up longer thN 24 hrs to go up. Cox getting reputation for hidden charges. Just saying.

I went in to pay off an old bill and to put my cable back on. The store manager quoted a $150.00 deposit. I agreed. This was to lock in a price for five years. I return the next week with the $150.00 he then told me I needed $350.00. I was so humiliated after taking 2 buses in the heat. I felt like I was talking to an auctioneer. I am a senior lived here for 47 years.What a joke. Its not that much TV watching in the world. This package had only 3 or 4 channels I watch!!!$350.00 Deposit REALLY COX CABLE!!! Shame on you!!!!
Nobody answers the phone, I wanted just the internet plan and the guy gave me a phone line including saying its cheaper with it, and it was an awful deal. My internet is slow. I told them I get paid on 15th and 1st and they didnt set up a payment arrangement like planned and my wifi went off.
Just want to say that by far this store has one of the best customer service, they made my experience easy and seamless....I have dealt with the Sahara location and phone customer service and never have been treated the way this location treated me....the manager was very patient and the sales rep too...they listen to my issue and I got a resolution in no time!! My husband and I have been clients for about 3 years now...and I can say out of the 3 years this is the first time I can say Im satisfied with cox customer service, we didnt have to talk to 10 different people or had to wait for 2 hours to get no resolution!! Thank you Rainbow team!!
