Great atmosphere and support. If your serious about making a life change, especially losing weight then check out their fitness challenge. I did it and it has changed my life. Diets do not last, their program teaches you a very sustainable lifestyle. Ive been on vacation for a week now, eating in restaurants and some fast-food and this week I have lost 4 pounds and gone down one notch on my belt. They have revved up metabolism.

This place has become my second home. Great atmosphere full of positive people. No matter what your age or fitness level is you will benefit from Camp Rhino. Not only is my body looking 10x better but my mobility, endurance and overall health have improved as well. My chiropractor says my body is improving every visit. Definitely check this place out!

I initially tried the 6-week challenge out of curiosity... I never thought that this would be the best experiment ever! Ive been in every gym in town who offers monthly/1-year contracts (you name it, I probably have signed up) but I always lose interest within the first month. Probably because all I see are people who go to the gym to take selfies and the uneasy feeling of being silently judged everytime I walk in. Here at Camp Rhino, I always feel like coming in to see friends! The coaches are super supportive, the staff are friendly and the workouts are FUN! I am never bored because everyday is a different WOD.Joining Camp Rhino is the best decision I have ever made. If you are looking to change the way you look at working out, this is the place to be.

I came here one Saturday with my mom. I had questions about membership. I could see people in the back and they saw us, but not one person acknowledged me and my mother. I am a disabled veteran who wanted to begin a new routine to help me. You guys never even acknowledged us at the front. We just waited and waited. Treat people with respect. You guys disrespected us. A shame.

Camp Rhino has been BY FAR the best thing Ive ever done for myself. The team of coaches are top-notch and the programming makes for some of the most challenging and rewarding workouts you could ask for. Even the members are all encouraging, supportive and judgement-free..any intimidation factor was gone less than five minutes after I got started. Thanks to Julie and team for creating such a great environment!

I met Julie, the owner of Camp Rhino a little less than a year ago at one of the functions the gym puts on in September: the Olympia Expo. Julie walked in to my CrossFit gym and handed me a flyer inviting me and every one of the members of my gym to come participate in the event. From the very beginning, the impression she left on me was nothing but positive. She genuinely cares about people and she really does care about how youre progressing in your fitness goals. Yes, she cares about her own fitness goals as well, but that doesnt mean she ignores the needs of each of her other members. I mean.... after all, she owns an incredible fitness facility... wouldnt you want to take advantage of your own equipment if you owned such a huge gym as well?!?!I also hear nothing but positive things about the 6 week challenge... I have not yet participated in it myself, but I am getting myself prepared to take the plunge. This challenge offers you nothing like youll find anywhere else: it comes at a $300 price tag, but if youre dedicated to your goals, whatever they may be... you get ALL of your money back! Who else is willing to offer something like that to you?!?Take an hour or two out of your day and come try Camp Rhino! You wont regret it!Oh, P.S. Theyre expanding the HQ spot, and they have 2 locations available in Las Vegas now!!!!

I have been a member on and off of Camp Rhino since 2008, way back when they were Boot Camp Las Vegas. There is a reason why I keep going back! The owner, Julie Johnston, and her staff are amazing. They are supportive and kind. They will scale and modify any exercise to fit your needs (injury) and skill level. No need to ever feel intimidated or lacking in skill. The nutrition program is realistic and manageable. Ive never found a gym that felt like home. Its not a gym where you are judged, its a gym where you find support and friends.

While on business in Vegas, my friend and I dropped by for the beginner obstacle training class. We ended up staying for 3.5 hours to do an obstacle course they set up, and it was the best 3.5 hours of my life! I have never felt so alive! My athleticism was put to the test, and I just couldnt get enough. This takes working out to a completely new level. I would fly back to Vegas just to go here again. A special thanks to Cory for an awesome class and pushing me to stay mentally strong throughout the obstacle course. Camp Rhino is amazing!!!!!!!

Paid for the drop in to come play on the ninja obstacles, and happened to be there on a day that they were changing out obstacles and doing construction and maintenance stuff. When we came in the door one of the coaches came jogging over to us to help us get signed in and explain things to us. The owner Julie approached us and insisted that she make it up to us since we werent able to have the full experience that day. Some of the guys working on building new obstacles gave us a couple coaching tips on how to do one of the obstacles. All of the obstacles that were there were well build and really fun and challenging. I would definitely recommend this place. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and the obstacles were fun!

Super friendly staff and well equipped, as others have said. They have open gym throughout the day which is rare to find. Plenty of room for pretty much anything your training requires. Does get a bit busy between all their classes in the evening, but plan your time accordingly or drop-in to one of them and you should be fine.

Camp Rhino has truly saved my life. I started the 6 Week Challenge in November of 2016 and have never looked back. Every member and coach welcomes you as a member of their family. I have since become certified and now coach the outdoor boot camp classes in Summerlin and the Southwest. Every single day that I get to go to work and help others and I have never been happier. You cannot find anyplace else like it in Vegas. Everything you want and need for Bootcamp, CrossFit, Reebok Spartan Training, and American Ninja Warrior classes. I found them this past April as I needed a change from the “purple box gym” and I have been a Rhino ever since. I also needed special technique training for the numerous Spartan races I ran this past year. Cannot say enough about all the staff and those who attend here on a daily basis. Always encouraging, teaching, and guiding you toward the personal goals you have in sight.

Allow me to preface I travel a lot and see all sorts of gyms. This one is by far the coolest and well equipped cross fit gym Ive been too. The fact they have open gym all day(CF classes will take precedence) is just icing on the cake. Oh but wait, you want to pretend your a ninja warrior too? Theyve got a fully decked obstacle course modeled after the shows course. So now you can go play with your fitness too! Consider that the ala mode for you fitness cake. This gym is my favorite gym in the entire US. Unbelievable. Go now.

My experience at Camp Rhino was sub par at best. It being my first cross fit gym I didn’t have a lot of high expectations, thankfully. I had my own programming, did my own thing, and stayed out of the chaos of new comers considering there were a lot of them all the time. The professionalism at this place is lacking. 2 of the coaches are constantly showing PDA. The membership cost is also outrageous. $189/month is a little pricy for what you’re paying for with the over crowdedness, janky equipment, and lack of quality coaching. One good thing about this place is you can volunteer hours there to pay for your membership, which is the only reason why I stayed for 3 months, otherwise I would have cut ties sooner. I wouldn’t recommend this gym to any serious cross fitters.EDIT: this post has nothing to do with my brother being fired, I am simply sharing my own personal experience. My post is truthful and no one is being personally attacked here either. The other reviews on here are all fake because the people who posted anything were coerced by the owner.

I was paying a trainer over $200 a month for 2 days a week of small group training and paying for my gym membership. Now I pay less and I am able to work out any day of the week with a trainer The classes are fun, creative and challenging. I take 5 sometimes 6 classes a week and always with a trainer. They have so many different classes and trainers to work with. They dont ask you to check in on facebook or advertise for them, they just challenge you and help you work out safely. The owner is very hands on she will get in and take a class with you, very dedicated. Coach Jathen Cox is my personal favorite. I challenge you to take a class at Camp Rhino, tell them Brandon sent you. #RhinoTough #JathenHard

--Updated Review--I came back to this gym because the owner offered me a free membership with the condition I delete my old review and post a 5 star review. So what the heck, it was free. Since my last time going to this gym there were some improvements. The place wasnt nearly as crowded although I did start going to the 6am class instead of the 7pm class. And I mostly had Jathan as a coach and he was pretty good. The biggest ongoing complaint was the programming. For whatever reason this gym just does not want to get rid of hyperfit. It is absolute garbage. One week we did deadlift 4 days in a row. My other issue was the lack of skilled movements training. It was always scale this and scale that. Never, hey were going to spend 15-20 minutes working on this so everyone has a chance to learn/get better. Another ongoing complaint is that they still dont maintenance any of their equipment. Stuff that was less than a year old looked and functioned like 10+ year old equipment. For paying members ($189/month), Id say definitely NOT worth it. If you get some kind of bargain, maybe. But overall, I think youre better off going somewhere else to workout.Side note: The owners no longer dating one of the coaches, but he is now dating a new coach and they make out constantly. So if you do decide to stop in, be prepared for excessive PDA.In response to the owner, my first negative experience and resulting review was before my husband was my husband. And it also resulted in her threatening to end his employment. Now that ties are finally cut, I can be completely honest about how terrible this gym is and how fake all these other reviews are.

I wish I could put more stars. This is my home away from home- hands down the best gym in town! The high caliber trainers and staff here are better than anywhere else and far more encouraging. I travel quite a bit for the military across the country so I’ve been to other CrossFit/“bootcamp” gyms in and out of Vegas and there’s nothing that remotely compares to the comraderie, encouragement and knowledge in this atmosphere. The owner sets the example and is open and honest about her own struggles with fitness and nutrition as well as normal life challenges. I love this about her because she’s so relatable. When you’re struggling with something fitness or non-fitness related, she actually cares and listens. I would classify this gym as a “wholestic health” environment because it’s not just about looking good on the outside, but changing your lifestyle from the inside out!
