It is amazing a company the size of Office Depot can still be in business and be run this poorly. The store associates dont know the return policies. The online chat people dont know the return policies and your 800 number is mostly automated so no customers can actually get the help they need. Why is it impossible to return an item to a store when the store still has the stupid product. I never picked it up but for some reason, no one knows WHO can or HOW TO RETURN IT!!! I will never purchase another item from office depot.

I have been fortunate enough to be working from home since March. I have a makeshift office set up that over time has become uncomfortable and I decided to get some actual office furniture. The sales associate that helped me at this store was Mario and he was awesome. Polite, very helpful and gave me the online pricing for the products I purchased! Thank you Mario for making things easy and cost-effective for me and my family :)

Today, May 28, 2020 we were researching laptops and Jonah offerd to assist us. He was very kind and professional and was able to provide us with useful information that we didnt receive even in specialized stores for computers. We didnt feel rushed to make a decision. His customer service was excellent!

This store is amazing. It is well laid-out and super clean, but the bigger win for them is their PEOPLE. My wife and I were looking for some boxes because we were cleaning out a storage unit my father had when he suddenly passed away in late January. We only needed a couple of boxes of a very particular type, but the kind we needed were packaged in larger quantities than we needed, or were of a higher quality than we wanted to pay for since we only needed to use them to transport documents to Utah for shredding. We had given up on finding what we needed and left the store when one of the people we had spoken to RAN to our car to tell us he had found a way to get us what we needed. It was one of those amazing beyond the call of duty customer service moments that one remembers for a long time. We may never have occasion to visit this store again, since we live in Utah, but those who are fortunate enough to have this location near enough to be convenient, it is a TOTAL WINNER and you really should be happy to be able to shop here when the need calls for it.

The worst store for office supplies. Antiquated offering of computer and networking equipment, mediocre office supplies, and rude, disinterested customer service.

Terrible service so unorganized. I checked in at the kiosk and it said 6 min estimated wait and it seemed they took people that came after me who didnt even check in. I waited 24 min and people came after me.

I have a feeling I just encountered the same employee that someone else mentioned in a rating 2 mos ago. The young woman at the print center was bizarrely rude. The store was pretty much empty and I think I I interrupted her conversation with another employee. When I asked if I could get something printed she pointed to the copiers and got really annoyed when I said I needed to have it done because it was 24 by 36. She obviously didnt want to be bothered because she told me I needed to order it online and it takes a minimum of 24 hours. I said that every other office max/depot always seems to be able to do it within an hour or so. She recommended I go to another store then because this was the policy at that store- oh and she said she was leaving early today too. It was the kind of interaction that simply makes you sad and kind of embarrassed to be treated that way. On a positive note, I called the manager and he was nice about it but Ill never go back to that store. Guess what? Im writing this from the store on 215 and Rainbow and sure enough the girl here said I have 3 posters ahead of yours so it will take 20 minutes, is that ok? Thats the service I usually find at these stores.

Purchased a computer with the office depot tech support. The salesman named Mark oversold us on how great this program was, how my computer would be ready within 24 hours and told me I would not have any issues. All I have been dealing with is one issue after another. My computer took 3 days before it was ready. They told me they would call when it was ready but never did. I had to keep calling them.When I got home, my microsoft word was not activated. I stopped by Office Depot to get microsoft word fixed and Mark seemed confused as to why we did not call tech support but he advised us to contact him if we had any initial issues. Once he sold us the package, it was obvious he did not care about us anymore.It did not matter anyways, because the activation code Mark provided me did not work and I had to call tech support. When I called tech support, his attempt to help me with microsoft word was getting me locked out and told me to call back in 20-30 mins.I am extremely displeased with the service and regret stepping foot into Office Depot. It has been a true nightmare.Edit 9 months later: I reached out to the information below to rectify the situation. Nothing ever happened. Such a terrible company. Please avoid at all cost unless you want to have a nightmare on your hands

Wonderful Service! I needed to receive and send an email to an Arizona business today and my printer wasnt working. I called Office Depot and they explained how easy it was to receive the email with them. What a wonderful group of people. My email was waiting for me when I arrived. Sending an email was a breeze also. They scanned my attachments in and off it went. I am so grateful that office supply places like this one exist.

This location is always understaffed and there are only a select number of employees in the printing service who seem knowledgeable of the services. I have called a couple of times for simple questions and have always been left on hold for over five minutes before hanging up or having someone finally pick up my line having forgotten I was there and placing me on hold again. Last time I called to ask what the printing email was for the self service and I was on put hold for five minutes before I just hung up searched for myself online. I had actually called the other day to see if you could do self service over email and the woman had said only with a USB so I had to wait in the full service line for over 20 minutes to print a single sheet of paper. When I walked over to the printers I saw there was an email option clearly marked there, but not having the document on me I was forced to waste my time. Their lack of training and knowledge of the services has been a huge waste of my time quite a few times now. I feel like the services that corporate sets up should be simple enough to use but their training and understaffed printing services make it difficult every time.I am giving it two versus one stars for the cheap prices, and there is one woman in the printing area who is there every time I have been who is very knowledgeable and has great customer service. She refers to all of the customers by their names. Unfortunately, she is frequently interrupted from her job by other employees needing help due to their lack of training. It feels as though she is the only one working or capable which slows down the entire line. She seems over worked and definitely deserves a promotion.

One of the employees was so rude!!I asked her a question and she gave me attitude..She couldnt even show me how to use the print station since it was my first time there and she was near me!!The store looks bad because of herThey should hire someone else that is more professional than her!!She needs to work on her customer service skills!!

Horrible experience!! I was there to print a doc and the girl that was working there don’t explain to me how it’s works. So I was at ups and a nice guy that really wanna work help all set in 5 minutes.

Careless print center person. Had her punch holes in some papers and when I got all the way back home, discovered that she hadnt squared the paper to the back edge of the punch so several of the holes were halfway off the edge of the paper..unusable. Had to reprint the document and take it to different Office Depot :( . Also, 3 people ahead of me but a 27-minute+/- wait.On the positive side she DID try to be helpful, didnt charge me to punch the holes and was friendly.

Long lines, at least every time Ive been there. Most staff, us helpful and knowledgeable of their items. The prices have went up, over the years. However Ill continue shopping here. Great location, next to a ton of great stores that I love. Free parking as well

I was there today Sunday 09/17/2017 around 12:46 noon to purchase a stamp but when I was helped by Britney on the printing department. She was so disrespectful with me. Here is what happened.Britney was so nice helping a white ladies then she helped a black ladies putting her copies in order helping her nice. But when I was next I ask her that I needed a stamp. She rapidly give me attitude telling me that I needed to come back later. Then I she show me the sizes I ask her if there was a size for the stamp sample I had, she rapidly answered me but the price is 45 and up I didnt ask her for the price I ask her for the size. She rudely told me precisely more than once that the prices again. She the. Give me faces of hungry with me Her attitude was disrespectful several times she should be remove from her job if she cant be respectfully and nice with good customer service2 with all people I am Hispanic and she obviously have racism issues with people.

I did have a good experience here... Staff was nice and the place was clean and organized... Too bad it is closing.

Gafur from printing has consistently been so helpful! I needed my resume and cover letter printed, and he knew how to print the designs with the perfect margins between header and footer. No one else could figure out what I wanted, so tonight when I needed to print them out again, we asked specifically for Gafur and he came through for me again. If you need specific modifications from the printing department, definitely ask for Gafur. I dont normally write reviews, but hes the type of person who is so friendly, patient, and kind that he really deserves high praise.

I sent a fax from this location, received a confirmation page/paid, however it was never received on other end. So I suggest you use a different companyfor this service. I wont use Office Depot-Max again.

So just came in to get two copies.. 3 people at the counter and they have no line and not one acknowledged me standing there I know theyre busy but they can look up and say hello will be with you in a minute but no not one person looked up to greet me. Then when she finally did Courtney tag said supervisor!!!! What the heck now I know why every other employee did they say they follow by example!!!

Okay so I come in often to print and okay they are short staffed... id rather wait awhile knowing ill get a great product BUT Britney Courtney & Megan THRIVE to provide the best guest service they are willing to always go above and beyond.

I have shopped At this particular store (Best in the West Shopping Center) for 8 years. Every visit, they appear to be frazzled, overworked,and understaffed; so I try to be patient. Hey Corporate Office Depot - Properly staff your stores so your employees arent stretched beyond their limits.

My wife had some digital art created as a commission from a local artist and came there for simple prints to frame and send to her family for holidays she asked the lady for 4 color copys she came back with 4 BLACK AND WHITE COPIES she asked her again and then she came back with only 2 copies - she asked again and she came back with 4 bad quality color prints she asked her again came back with worse quality prints just hoping my wife would leave after 30 min of going back and fourth the Rep told my wife to go to WALGREENS to get good prints and ASKED HER TO LEAVE THE STORE AND SPEND MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE i dont know how you intend to stay in business competing with online stores like amazon and sending ppl who take the time to come to your store to other stores. Never coming back this never happens at kinkos or office max

Ordered an item that wasnt received properly. For something that should have taken 2 minutes took 25 minutes. Meanwhile the line went from 3 people to 8 and no other associates came to assist customers. They simply walked by. Other customers were upset. Alexis was nice and courteous with helping all of the customers waiting.

I had an absolutely WONDERFUL young man, I think his name was Josh, I have his employee number on my receipt, help me purchase a new laptop, today. He was cheerful, knowledgeable, tried so hard to recover data from my old, dead, hard drive.When he finally rang up the new laptop and some other things we got, I mentioned the upsale sign about if your associate doesnt offer Office 365, you could get a copy free. So I mention it. He lost all his shine and zeal. I find out hes going to possibly get written up! Ridiculous!! He was a fantastic salesman, I left with more than I intended to leave with, and he gets punished for something the store endorses?! I ordered HP printer paper online to pickup at store. I arrived at Office Depot 1 hour after placing the order and order was ready. Walking into Office Depot and picking up an order you placed online is much better than walking around the store looking for what you need.

EMPLOYEES NEED TO BE DRUG TESTED!!!!I have only been in here 2 times. The first time, I was the only person there, yet it took me 1 hour ti get out (I printed 2 pages) I forgot to ask for my usb back. When I realized it was missing, I went back and the employee claimed he had not printed out of a usb during his shift. Second time, I went to print my resume. The employee asked me if I wanted resume paper or normal. I said normal. When I paid for them I kinda thought it was too much but was in a hurry and didnt pay attention. Later I realized she had printed it in resume paper. Worse customer service ever!!! I never do this, but its about time someone does somethung about this store. Im never coming back!

I had to run into an office Depot for a daytimer refill and upon trying to pay for it my credit card didnt work and the clerk just kept saying it was declined so I had to stand out of line & call my bank at which time they told me that it was the stores card reader that was at fault and that the number needed to be manually entered which the clerk didnt even try the first time! Horrible customer service. This is the reason Ive never liked Office Depot as a chain and I really dont like this location. Thanks Office Depot associate for wasting my time on a Friday night... next time Ill just go online and order it from Staples where they give me free shipping and I never have an issue as inane as this!
