Unprofessional, they closed 5 minutes early and did not take the specimen I was supposed to drop off, they close at 2:30 P.M and by 2:20 pm doors were locked, no sign explaining why they closed early, workers were still in there, but refused to open the door. They also, dont have a drop off specimen outside.
A phlebotomist Shequanna McClendon was confrontational towards me and down-right disrespectful. I asked another phlebotomist for her name. McClendon gave it to me. McClendon got on the phone to allegedly report me to a supervisor. So, I cursed her out as she was holding the phone out for a supervisor to hear me. All McClendon needed to was was remove herself from the area and not to continuously provoke me.
I went to LabCorp on West Charleston. It was an amazingly easy and pleasant experience. They have a machine that checks patients in which was very easy to use and much better than having to write everything out. The receptionist was very nice and extremely helpful. There was no wait as I was immediately put in a room. The phlebotomist came in less than two minutes later and was every bit as nice as the receptionist. And I didn’t even feel the needle! 100% easy. 100% recommend LabCorp at 3131 W. Charleston.
The personal at the front desk is super rude! Today is July 24, 2021, in case the supervisor decides to do something. In my experience today I wouldn’t come back here ever again.Horrible check-In experience. For someone who comes for the first time you are not sure if doing the check-in personally or in the kiosk. If you do all the line and decide to do it personally they send you to the kiosk so you lost all your time and more people got in front of you. And they don’t even explain kindly, they are very rude. I’m not a sensitive person, I’m very patient and understanding but that can’t be called anything else but rude. The people at the front desk are the first impression patients get from your office so, something definitely needs to change.
They are rude and very unprofessional! Wait times are 1.5 hours long and have no empathy for people.
Great collectors thats why I gave them 1 star. HORRIBLE communication. You cant get thru on the phone to anyone. No one ever calls back when you use the patient portal to contact them. Its been weeks since my tests were done and I cant get the results. I wont go back.
Cant complain, I was in and out in under 15 minutes doing a walk in appointment. Theres a water machine that provides water cold water on a hot summer day.
Did not leave feeling confident in the process, & felt verbally abused by front desk lady . She may have been frustrated due to the fact she was checking people in & doing the testing. However, many other reviews dating back past a year of unsavory experiences from this location . Hope some changes are on the way.
Worst experience I have ever had at a LabCorp! I was there on Thursday, 05/06/21. The front desk receptionist sitting to the left side as you face the front desk, yelled at customers the whole time I was there. It was busy and she lost it. There were around ten people that left because of the service. They walked in and seen the issue, and walked out. I was a walk in, and realized that I would have to wait. After an hour and a half, I thought that I may have missed them calling my name since the only seat available was right at the front door, and I dont hear very well. So I went up to the desk to ask if I missed being called back. The gal didnt understand my question and rudely yelled, What can I do for You?! over and over. I repeated my question, and it took her about five minutes to figure it out. I was so surprised at her response, of there are other people ahead of you!, that I turned around and sat down. Then she turned and yelled at her coworkers something about me. The other customers felt bad for me. I cant believe that the other coworkers put up with it! Says a lot about the quality, or lack of quality, of people LabCorp hires. I only wish I would have thought to take a video.
Very slow and probably understaffed. They do manage to see 1 patient about every 20 minutes. Friendly and professional staff.
Front desk very rude. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect.
This is my 3 time in less then a month that I come to get my blood drawn because they continue to do it incorrectly. Can someone please explain how in the world this is possible 🙄
Zero personality from the employees and they treat you like a drug user. Show some respect.
Terrible service I registered for drug screen exam and it lasted more than an hour they attend to all those who arrive after me and are going to take the same exam terrible attention from the two employees today 09 /
I recommend doing online appointment booking and check in. The people were very kind and respectful and answered my questions. The phlebotomist who stuck me was fast, efficient, and painless. With doing the online booking and check in I was in and out in less then 5mins.
This place is all out of order and the little Asian lady is very rude wouldn’t recommend it
I was in to get some blood work August 28th and the technician was very reassuring and friendly on top of doing a stellar job doing the blood draw. Afterwards I would be hard-pressed to prove I had blood drawn, there was a faint spot and no bruising! Great skill and service.
I first went to the location at 653 North Town Center Drive Las Vegas NV. I called 2 hours prior to double check the pre drug screening hours. The automated system stated they accepted patients until 3pm. I also attempted to speak to an actual person at that location. I was unable to ever reach a person to confirm the hours. I arrived at 2:15pm. I attempted to check in twice for it to tell me both times no appointment times were available. At that point I approached the check in desk to ask what the issue was. The lady that greeted me was rude and would not let me speak. She berated me repeatedly asking me why I was there. While quickly trying to explain that I was there for a pre employment screening and I had called she proceeded to tell me that I could either come back another day or go to the other location. I was unable to get a word in edgewise when she shoved a paper at me with the other Labcorp locations on it showing the highlighted location 20 minutes away. She said they were open until 530pm or so. I looked on the paper and the hours on the paper for the current location were until 3pm. I again tried to request that she change the automated system and why it would have told me the wrong information, which she blatantly ignored. The mask policy in the building was also not being enforced and no hand sanitizer was available for frequently touched surfaces. I left the building at this point since she not only refused to assist me but also refused to even let me speak. I went to the other location on 3131 W. Charleston Blvd. Las Vegas. The location was packed with no seats available per COVID 19 restrictions. I followed the signage checked in and went back to my vehicle to wait to be alerted for my turn. At this point everything went smoothly I was texted and taken care of in an orderly fashion. I do not understand why the location at Charleston is over ran with patients while the location at north town center is empty and no longer accepting patients. I will never use this labcorp location again and I hope that you will change the automated system to show the correct hours. If I did not have means or ability to make it to the other location. I would have just been out of luck?Thank you to this location for the prompt attention and kindness. The lady that assisted me made me feel welcome. It was fast and easy.
Room full of patients. Nothing but sidebar conversations. You would thing they want people in and out. If i could only give a negative response.
Whats the point of an appointment when your waiting for an hour and a half? Made appointment for 1:00 pm wait in your car for an half hour before they text you to come inside then wait another 45 min to be called! Its just a employment drug screen smh..Never again
I went to turn in an 24 hour sample on a Sunday before 2PM and the doors were locked. I couldnt get thru on the phone either. There was clearly people there. Close time says 2:30PM. Very inconvenient.
Friendly staff and fast service when I did a walk in visit.
I love coming to this location. The phlebotomists that helped me was Ana, she is so great at what she does and her dedication shows for it. Such a steady hand and a good eye and feel to find your vein. And you are always in and out of this place at a timely manner. Ana has also helped my 11 yr old in the past. Got it at the first try, when Quest poked my daughter 5 times and my daughter was in tears and a nerve wreck. This is the lab to come to if you want lab work done right and accurate.Thank you Ana
Disgusting how are you going to be in the medical field and can’t wear a mask properly
In and out in under 20 minutes on Sunday August 1st around 2:00 pm,the lady at reception very pleasant and professional, also shes the one who draw my blood.
Excellent service! Have a system down, knowledgeable, nice ladies and they work hard.
Awsome experience!! Anna is GREAT!!
I appreciate the kind and hard-working staff. The office is always clean and comfortable, and usually you can get in and out pretty quick.
Went at 8:15am. No appointment. In and out in 15 minutes for labs. Super nice and personable staff. Great experience!
I was in and out in 20 minutes! 😎
Worst wait time I have ever seen. One person in the front that is super slow and they call one Person to the back about every hour.
I came to the Charleston location at about 430am. First time here, the receptionist was very professional and friendly, and she also did the blood draw. Best experience ever, so quick and painless with the needle. Took about a minute, total time under 5 minutes. Very best place I have been too.
If I could give zero stars I would! First off the email I received had the invalid address. Then the old address didn’t have the new updated address on the door which should be common sense. The receptionist was okay. Nothing special. But then let’s get to the process. My “collector’s” name was Chaquinta. She had the absolute worst attitude I’ve ever encountered when it comes to someone that deals with customers or patients. She was very rude and cold. She acted as if she was a drill Sargent. I understand she has a job to do, however there is a way to go about it. I had a question and when I asked she interrupted me and stated the procedure. I called her out and stated “you’re just the warmest person aren’t you?” She said “I’m just quick and thorough.” Well she definitely fit the label with her unprofessional, rude, and cold demeanor. Hopefully she one day realizes either one she shouldn’t be dealing with the public, or changes her attitude. Because she is a part of the population that fits in the category of this cold cruel world. I left not wanting to deal with another person for the day, anxiety ridden that I would have to deal with another ”human being” like her. Her employment should definitely be re-evaluated.
HORRIBLE! I don’t want to even give one star but I have to in order to post.Worst experience ever. I had to bring my 2 kids in for several labs. I knew I would need to divide them up and come a couple times. We had to drive 2 hours to get there from our residence as we didn’t have options nearby. My 6 year old was so scared and it took us several conversations to explain and get up enough nerve for her to go. The lady at the desk was annoyed and huffing and puffing the whole time complaining about the amount of labs as soon as she saw the physician orders. I told her I didn’t appreciate the attitude and really didn’t choose to have my kids be sick with all of these labs to draw so if she could just help me. She said the provider should have known better than to order all these labs on a little kid then continued to remind me she couldn’t do all of them at once. I asked her to please help me divide them up. She sighed and sat down in the chair flipping her hair. She then said well your the parent which ones are the most important to you and I will draw them. This is where I lost it. They are ALL important. We have sick kids... all important. I then asked for her name and the office manager name/contact and she said I am not telling you my name. She wrote the office managers name down and number and my husband got the kids together and grabbed the post it. She then started yelling oh you want attitude, now I have attitude with you snatching up that paper like that. I will show you attitude! You want my name! My name is CHAQUINTA then proceeded to also spell it out all the while yelling. We left. I called the office manager crying and she never called me back. I cried for a long time after. If you can’t be compassionate and treat people with kindness you have no business working in any type of medical area. It is hard having sick kids. I will never go back there and highly caution anyone else with children needing labs to go there. I am sorry my child’s illness was such an inconvenience to Shaquanta. Unacceptable behavior. The office manager Shauna never ever returned my call.
I wish there was an option for 0 stars. The restroom they have you use for urine samples had urine all over the floor and long strands of hair all in the sink. I told the examiner about the restroom and it seemed as though she could care less because she just called the next person up to use the same filthy restroom. The customer service wasn’t bad but I definitely think cleanliness needs some work.
Update: Ana is also an amazing phlebotomist ...success with the first draw! I have challenging veins.Mary Ann is amazing! I have difficult veins and she made it look easy...first try was successful and pain free! Great service....
This place is the worst. Two times in a week and still get the same service. They sit on their phones, complain about their jobs, SUPER LAZY and completely rude to the patients. Shaquinta needs a new job and an attitude adjustment. And the blonde with glasses...nobody cares about your job requirements and how much extra work just got added to your plate, or how youre not going to do it. Do they not realize people are their to get life altering lab work or that we can hear your conversations? Clearly not. Completely unprofessional.
First time I go to this lab. I am surprised at the practicality, agility and organization in this laboratory. I was attended by the DIANNE official. She is super kind, skillful, humane and communicative, she treated me and my daughter very well.
Terrible experience! The lady at the window was definitely not friendly at all, then got worse when I told her the ordering physician she put down was incorrect for one of my kids, she then told me to sit down in front of a room full of people, she heard me talking to a patient and told me not to speak Spanish as I was answering that patients question in Spanish. I got her name from another co worker CHAQUINTA was beyond un professional and what she said to me was unexcceptable and worst of all It was my kids first time having blood work done. Never again will I go there!!!!
This is the closest place to Henderson a still does drug test, do not bother going to any LabCorp in Henderson you cannot pee there! With the long line ahead of me and having to make a deposit immediately, and thankful for the lab tech name chqintenta (I know I misspelled) Fast Track me so I did not have to lose the deposit. She is a beautiful human being that carries this LabCorp location. Bravo!
When I read some of the negative reviews of this facility, I was reluctant to go. But Quest, which is across the street, is always so busy, hours waiting. So, I decided to give Labcorp a try. I was surprised when entering and finding patients waiting, but not overwhelming. The receptionist was friendly and quick, and I was in and out in half an hour. The girl who drew my blood was wonderful. I have issues with rolling veins and this is not my favorite thing to have done, but she was amazing, found a vein right away and there isnt even a black and blue. Just wanted to give them a shout out. I will use Labcorp for now on.
Took the girlfriend here to get blood drawn for her work. Quick service, simple location, great staff.
Very unprofessional with all capital letters... Ive never been to an office where the receptionist talking about the patients out loud and the African American girl cursing while theres people waiting to be seen...
Worst office ever, when I got there all they were worried about was breakfast, then she says our computers are down until 8:00 am!! What kind of business is this! So I’ll continue to go to The the one on rainbow! The best staff ever! Charleston Lab Corp sucks!!
So very quick.
The place was empty. I was in and out
Very god customer service
It was my first time with them, the person who attended me gave me an estimate of my analysis of approximately $ 300, therefore I agreed to do the analysisA month later I get a $ 1,500 billI am going to pay it but I think it is very bad not to inform people correctly when they attendThe attention from the girl who did the blood draw was very good.
The worst experience of my life !!!, I must clarify that I have come here several times and it has always been great, until last Wednesday there was a person named Heydi (or at least that was the name he told me), he got angry Because after an hour there I asked him if they had already sent me the message to check because I had to keep waiting he told me that he had not been there since that time when I had done the registration in the machine when I arrived at 5:30 in the Tomorrow, total several people complained about the delay but I was the only person who was mistreated, perhaps because of being Latin (she was also Latin), when in the end they happened to take the blood sample she did not give me the glass for my urinalysis; I asked him and in a bad way he told me that he did not need it after finally paying attention to me after several times asking him, when I passed the lady who took the blood sample I asked her again if I needed to do a urine sample she said yes and He gave me a glass for the sample, I would have gone home without completing my analysis after getting up at 5 in the morning and waiting for the result, my doctor to finally give me a treatment, just for asking what was the reason for so much waiting I do not understand why, in an institution where people go because their health requires it, they need to be mistreated and consciously forget their analyzes just to punish them in some way; It is not fair to me that there are people who claim to be health professionals and who behave in this way, I do not believe that this person is a qualified person, not even humanly.
