Recently moved to Vegas from the Midwest, and I was looking for a barber out here to chop off the 8+ inches of hair that I had been growing out for the last 5 or so years, figured a fresh fade was the way to go... I called and scheduled an appointment with Tray and he did an excellent job... I will definitely be back! Appreciate it 💯

Did my research of local barbershops, liked what I saw at House Of Fades and gave them a try. Felt like I found the needle in the haystack with this one considering how many barbershops are in Vegas. Tray is a true artist when it comes to cutting hair, was looking for a different hairstyle, gave him a description and he completely nailed it! Been there a few times since, great atmosphere, this is my spot from now on and I recommend this spot to anyone looking for a barbershop at the top of their game, you won’t need to look anymore after this. Unfortunately the barber I had did not do what I asked him for, the cut was alright but still had issues with it, he did not take his time to do my hair instead he did it fast and kinda uneven had to cut sum pieces that were left behind so Im not very happy with this place only came cus I had no time to go to my barber but it is what it is. Price was good but not when you get a different order.

Great cut & on time as well as having a very warm environment. the barber tray was super nice, I got lost & he navigated me from the old shop yo the new shop with patience. He offered us cold beverages & Wore a mask during the entire process. Happy to say my son has a new barber 👍🏽

Man.... where do I begin. Been living in Vegas for 5 months; me and my struggling hairline. I came across a House of Fades and realized it would be worth a try. Linked up with DRU; he takes excellent care of my cuts. I receive compliments instantly after sitting in his chair. Ask for Dru and stop by the shop; he’s got skill, accountable and dependable.

My brother Tray, Ouuuu man im telling you, Hes beter than any other barber that thee is in there to cut your hair sorry to say.

Came here with my young boys one time. The cuts were good, even if I didnt get exactly what I asked for. The prices they charge though, I would have expected the cut I like. At any rate that wasnt my problem. A few things. 1) my barber smelled like he had been drinking during the day. Not something I expected and wasnt happy about. 2) not an environment I would have brought my kids to had I known it was going to be like that. Cussing, strippers and worse f was talked about and loudly. Dont get me wrong, I understand its a barbershop and all that. But every barbershop Ive been to has always respected woman and children and know when its cool to talk like that and when its best to save that kinda stuff. Just didnt seem like that was a concern here. So the cuts were decent -ah better than decent, they were good- but not a place I can go back to with the kids. Which is a shame.

Dru was awesome! I brought my toddler son for a much needed haircut. I showed Dru a picture of the cut I wanted and He did exactly that! Everyone in there was friendly and Dru was great at keeping my son comfortable during the cut. Kids cut is $20 and worth it, for a good haircut. Very talented and precise. Thanks guys!

House of Fades is by far the best barbershop in Las Vegas! I have been satisfied customer for over 10 years. Tray Skills and his lineup of barbers are all professional, friendly and their work is always amazing! They’ll have you feeling and looking good when you walk out every time. Drew is amazing. He is very professional. When I first called the shop, he answered. He was very polite and energetic. Ive called other shops and they answered with an attitude or had no enthusiasm. Drew was the complete opposite. He takes his time and is very detailed . I mistakenly told him not to take off enough hair. He was kind enough to let me come back and have him cut it to my liking. He didnt even charge me a lot to fix my hair. Also, he is good at replying to my text messages when setting an appointment. So far, Im happy with the decision I made.

I just flew in this morning for an AAU Tournament and my son needed a fresh fade. Dru was able to hook my son up with a fresh fade and design. Professional cut, a real barber environment, and friendly. Each customer that came in I noticed Dru greeted then with a genuineness. Great conversation added to the experience. It’s refreshing to see a barber work that truly enjoys his craft. Two thumbs up!! Highly recommended.

I started going to this shop after cutting my own hair for years. James was a great barber. Very professional and a skilled barber. Outside of that this shop is very unprofessional, and it starts with the owner. He cut my hair one time and my line was uneven. He also had several open arguments in front of customers with his barbers. He is petty and rude. He has baby momma drama and will stop cutting your head just to argue on the phone. I stopped going cause of the rudeness. I dont spend my money to have someone be rude to me. Like I said my man James Gaston was the only good professional barber in the shop. I believe he works elsewhere now.

Very welcoming and relaxed place. I walked in here not being very sure what I wanted and left with a better fade and design than I ever thought Id get. Pinky took great care of me and her personality really put the cherry on top of the whole experience. 10/10 recommendation

Tray and Brian are the best cutters at the shop! Brain is very precise and accurate and pays attention to everything and truly wants to give a person satisfaction about their hair cut. Tray has a lot personality with he’s style of cut but you will never go wrong with these two barbers if they are in your chair!

Would not recommend going to this barber shop. They give a mean fade, but have absolutely no idea what they’re doing when it comes to cutting the top of your head.The first pic is how my hair came out after the first cut. Just look at how uneven the hair was cut.I asked them to fix it, and they agreed. I should have known better than to go back to the place that messed my hair up that bad, but I figured I’d give them a chance to fix their mistake.The second pic shows how they “fixed” my hair. They just chopped it all off. I asked for half an inch off the top at first, they ended up cutting off all my hair to fix their mistake.I will not be going back there, and would recommend that you avoid this barber shop altogether

I chose House of Fades for my first professional haircut, and theres a reason its called House of Fades. My barber was great. They play some Jazz music as you wait for your seat, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Ill be going back soon to get a design. I definitely recommend this barber shop.

I’m here from the DC area. My first time going I went to a guy named Newmann, he was great. The following time I went to a guy with tattoos on his head and he was great too. Today is April 18, 2019. I just got finished seeing Newmann again and this is the best work I’ve seen done in half a decade. So glad I stumbled upon this place. I’ll be going once a week.Nothing like finding a great barber!

Please look into all the ONE STAR reviews before you decide to go here. I find them to be very accurate to what my experience was at this barber shop. I asked for a bald medium fade and ended up with a 1” medium fade, and a bloody scalp, This “masterpiece” only cost me $25. The freshman at barber college on Pecos and Bonanza do a better job than this. Barber Lionel.

Im from Houston and this was my first time going to this shop last weekend and I wasnt satisfied with the cut I received. So today I tried it again but this time the owner of the shop gave me a fresh cut. I was watching him work last weekend but he was so booked so I cant get in his chair but I recognize his talent,and so I got there early this time and will be going back and seeing him as long Im out here working.

I was a walk in at 8:30 and they got me right in. Very clean barber shop and well maintained. Eric (E Tha Barber) took care of me I told him what I needed and put my trust in his hands. He did an excellent job and he lined up my facial hair too. The man is a natural if you want a real haircut go to house of fades and ask for Eric.

Got a haircut back home. In town for the weekend and I didnt like my cut. I walked in got placed in a chair immediately! The barber that re-cut my hair for me was legit. WARNING!This review will be based on my completely honest experience.I come from Italy but I have been in multiple American barbers and I had always a good experience; with that being said today I was waiting one of my friend here in Vegas and so I decided to go get a haircut here.I found this place because was well reviewed and was near me.I had the WORST HAIRCUT OF MY ENTIRE LIFE and below I’ll tell you all the points.ALL THE THINGS I DIDN’T ASK:1) cutting my beard without asking him2) I had to cuts in my eyebrow and I was waiting for the hairs to grow again but he cut them again without asking him3) cutting the front of my hairs and also making them unbalancedIn addition to that, my skin is all red and I felt a lot of pain during the haircut. I would add a photo but I have no idea how to since it’s my first review here due to this experience that really makes me mad.DON’T GO THERE!

Disappointed. We looked forward all week to going to this place to get my daughters undercut done and we had even made an appointment. When we got here we were told one guy would do it then he said no the only guy who had a customer would do it. Two other employees had no one for the hour we waited and while we waited more people came in and were helped. My problem is I made an appointment and still waited an hour and then as other customers came in the guy who was supposed to do us kept telling this other client he was next. Not happy with the service especially when I called the night before to make appointment for 930am and never got help. Had to walk out and find somewhere else to spend my money.

I come here every week to get cut by Tray (owner of the shop). He is an excellent barber and knows how to treat his customers. Hes very hard working and never disappoints. It doesnt matter what type of hair you have. Asian hair, caucasian hair, black hair, latin hair, child hair, old hair, hes mastered it all. Everyones friendly and skilled here, but Tray is the man to see.

When I lived in Vegas back in the mid 90s this is where I got my hair cut. If I went blind back then I knew I didnt have to worry about not seeing how my hair was cut after the barber was done because my hair was always on point. When I go back to visit my 2 sons will wait to get their hair cut at HOF no matter how bad their hair looks. You wont go wrong with the HOF barber shop.
