I went in for my daughters 1st haircut and I got what I wanted (keepsake certificate with hairlock) however, Brandi, the stylish was very short spoken. She wore a mask, but I am positive if she didnt shed be the one to greet with a grin on her face. She was extremely quick to do everything from start to end as if she was busy or tired and I was the only one there for the first appointment of the day. I did not feel welcome and will not be returning due to her mannerisms. Maybe she was just having a bad day or who knows but she was definitely not there with me wholeheartedly.

This was my first time at a cookie cutters and I didn’t expect much, but, the experience was great! My son’s barber Carla is so nice and gentle with Matthew ( my son ) and Matthew is so happy with his new haircut. My experience at Cookie Cutters was the best, and I will be going there again 🥰

It was my sons first haircut ever. We entered the store and we were very enthusiastic about the whole experience. A child and his father were exiting Cookie Cutters in Silverado Ranch and we entered 2 min after our set appointment time. There wasnt any customers there, just us. Immediately the lady at the front welcomed us, so we provided appointment information and we were told to proceed. Then, the barber lady with glasses (Amanda I believe) immediately stopped us and told us that due to being late she was not going to honor the appointment time.She explained that she had another appointment in 5 min so she couldnt see us. So we had an appointment at 11am and then you had another appointment set at 11:10 am? Her timeline did not make sense and it was clear she was lying. There was not reason for her attitude other than the way we looked or appeared to her.Her timeline policy did not excuses her to be rude or to denied the haircut to my son. I was upset and I immediately told her that she can expect zero business from us. Maybe she was having a bad day, but that is not an excuse. Its bad to feel that your looks will make a business give you different type of customer service, but its infuriating when it happens to your child. I recommend the franchise to provide customer service and sensitivity training for their employees. Not Ok Cookie Cutters.

My son had his first haircut here, our stylist was excellent in helping him deal with the anxiety of it all. She helped calm him down. They had a playful environment perfect for children. He looks so much better with his haircut and we are very happy with the services. Highly recommend this place to parents for children’s haircuts.

This was my sons second haircut and I was nervous to get it cut in almost 2 years. The lady who cut his hair greeted us very nonchalantly, didn’t say hi, just said she was ready for us. Then she asked how I wanted it cut and I had a hard time explaining to her exactly what I wanted but gave her a general idea. I also showed her a pic but it’s like she didn’t even look at it because his hair looks nothing like it. I also told her that I wanted the top long enough to push to the side because his hair is stick straight and I guess she forgot that part too because his hair is shorter than it was the first time we had it cut and it doesn’t blend well with the rest of his hair. Not only did she not really care how we wanted his hair but she wasn’t kid friendly, she wasn’t really gentle with holding his head, and she just did everything a little too abrasive and quick. And also sprayed his face with the water bottle. I could see if he liked it, but he didn’t and she just didn’t care. You’re working with little kids, let alone an almost 2 year old. At least pretend you like your job. The first time went there we saw Carla, and she was great. Yes, I should’ve waited to see her when she was free instead of being impatient and that was the only day we had free to do it.

Both of my children have had their first haircuts here. Yesterday, my baby boy was receiving his first haircut and my three year old wanted to be included, so I brought her in as well— for a trim. She came in her Elsa dress, and our stylist called her Elsa the entire haircut, let her watch Frozen while she cut her hair, and she even braided her hair like Elsa just out of the kindness of her heart. She really went above and beyond and you can tell she truly enjoys her job, which makes the whole experience quite fun for our two kiddos. I highly recommend this establishment.

I’m not sure who helped me and my son yesterday but there is always super friendly service provided and it’s the first place my son actually feels comfortable going to. Even though I like 30 mins away I’m willing to make the drive.

Taking my son here was the biggest mistake. Everyone sounded so friendly on the phone, but when we got there it was a completely different experience. Stacey sat us down and everything went down hill. This was my sons second haircut (his 1st haircut was somewhere else) and it was the worst experience. Stacey pushed my sons head forcefully and held his head down against my shoulder while he cried. As a mother I can not express the fear in my sons face as Stacey aggressively held his head down. There was no patience for my son. Stacey wanted to give him the quickest haircut possible and completely disregarded his comfort. For a place that specializes in kids haircuts they seemed awfully inconvenienced giving my 1 year old son a haircut. My dogs are treated with more respect than my son was. I am regretful that I did not stop this while it was happening but I was so in shock. I called the next day and the manager made it seem like it was my sons fault. The way it seemed was this behavior was routine and necessary to give any child a haircut. In what world does a children’s hair place require the stylist to press her finger into my sons head while he is pinned against my shoulder to cut hair? He didn’t mind getting his haircut and only cried when she pinned his head against my shoulder. He is 1, I would think the trained professional who specializes in children’s haircuts would be able to handle my child with respect and care. Instead his head was forced aggressively side to side and held down with force. I am horrified by the experience. My only hope is that Stacey didn’t traumatize my son for future haircuts. I am saddened by this experience and am writing in hopes to save another family from the agony of watching their child desperately grab on to them in fear and pain.Update:I too have a video showing our perspective. In our video you can see her jerking his head. Seeing I was physically there I can tell you that the behavior was aggressive. My son only started to struggle once she grabbed his head and held it down. He never voluntarily laid his head down. I have never seen or heard of a stylist having to hold down a childs head forcefully to cut their hair. Considering you were not there and another one of your stylists confirmed it was inappropriate I would say maybe you are mistaken! I understand trying to save face and ignore the horrible encounter, but I am trying to inform your potential future customers of your aggressive stylist as I wouldnt want another baby to be hurt like my son.I have included screenshots since I cannot upload the whole video.

I took my son for his 1st hair cut in July. He had just turned 1 so I was unsure at how he would do but he did amazing! And the stylist Was amazing! Definitely will bring my son back.

The staff is always so nice and friendly to my son Max and I. He loves getting his hair cut at Cookie Cutters and I love taking him! We always have a positive experience, and the care that the stylists take to make sure hes comfortable is amazing. Highly recommend!

Carla is wonderful and I have always loved this business, however I was DISAPPOINTED and frankly disgusted that the front desk person (Erin) was wearing one of those “fake” sparkle masks (advertised as a way to get around mask mandates, but offer no protection against the wearer spreading the disease ).By not masking properly she was putting my son and all the kids who are too young to be vaccinated at risk. Management should make sure that all employees are properly masked. I almost gave 0 stars because of this.

Amanda is amazing, my son almost 2 we got the child first hair cut package & even though he was moving like crazy the whole time but she handled it very well, she was very patient with him, she was playful made sure he knew what was going on and made sure he was happy the entire time. she did an amazing job on his hair it looks exactly like what I asked for, she was so sweet & definitely knew what she was doing. I will definitely be going to her everytime!!

This is our sons 3rd haircut here and each time they really do such a good job and are so patient... Told them exactly what I wanted this time and she did so good! To the stylist with glasses and long light brown hair- YOU ARE A SAINT! My 15-month old moved the entire time, and he still came out with a great cut! Amanda was great. I was unfortunate enough to take my son there. Horrible haircut!! I naively thought they would do a better job than me. Ha! They should switch to trimming sheep maybe? My son’s hair looks like a “ bowl” cut, with a bunch of hair randomly sticking out where it shouldn’t. Like what is this? Where did you even learn to cut like that?? Omg, do not recommend this place, not even to my enemies. Go somewhere else!!!

I love this place. My daughter has special needs and usually hates getting her haircut. But here they are so kind and patient and attentive that she doesnt cry at all. We usually see Amanda and most recently Carla. Both show such compassion for her atypical needs. Im grateful the whole time.

I absolutely love Amanda and Carla. They work on my 2 son’s hair and it’s great every time!! They know both kids names even though one of them goes by his Hawaiian name. First time I went My son had his hair cut by Ashley and she did an amazing job in and out was on time for our appointment. Second time I went recently two days ago and I saw Carla she did a great job on my son she was running late because her last client the son was having a hard time so she pushed my appointment unfortunately. Outside unforeseen appointment pushing I do recommend this place for children it is a fun place for kids and great staff! My son always has a great time he sits still and enjoys the environment.

We took our 3 year old boy here for his haircut, mom and I were a little nervous just because you never know how little kids will be. After walking in they let your kid choose whatever car/seat they want after he picked his seat we didnt feel nervous anymore and it was smooth from there forward. We will for sure be coming back for all of my sons haircuts because of the great experience. If you are needing a haircut for your kids this is the place.

Ms.Trisha from Cookie Cutters is amazing. My son is 2 years old and is autistic. Shes cut his hair 3 times and she is so patient and kind. The location is clean and my sons appointment is always on time. They even give balloons at the end of the appointment. I highly recommend.

My daughter loved her haircut from Amanda. She cut the perfect bangs and asymmetrical bob that framed her face perfectly. This place has the comfiest fire truck to get her hair washed and TVs in front of the haircut chair. My daughter and son also look forward to the lollipop at the end. The customer service is top of the line and always friendly.

My son is autistic and absolutely HATES getting his hair cut. But they’re so good with him that he didn’t even cry this time. They have seats that buckle so he can’t jump out of his chair and they have TV’s set up at every station. We’ve been there 4 times and they’ve all been good experiences.

Although my son was screaming bc he doesn’t like the sound of clippers haha the hair stylist was able to keep calm and still cut his hair quickly enough and still cut his hair how I asked! I will come back here for his next haircut!

I took my kids to this location for the first time for their haircuts. The ladies were super sweet and nice with my kids. They were gentle with them and made sure they were super comfortable. They did an awesome job with both of their haircuts as well. Great place!

This is the only place, including home, where my 3- year- old son will sit still long enough to get his hair cut My 16-year-old daughter got a cut here too, and happily played Super Mario Bros the whole time. I also didnt mind their COVID measures, such as closing up the playground and asking me to wait outside until the appointments before me were done. They are only allowing two appointments in at a time, so because I had two kids, we were the only customers in there during our appointment. Not only is it fun for the kids, but safe too.

I always take the boys to Cookie Cutters - the staff and stylists are kind and patient, the boys love playing video games from their chairs during their haircuts, the price is affordable and the service is speedy. Weve been numerous times and will continue to...

5 star friendly service.1 star haircut.So I decided to give a 3 star rating, as Im not that mean even if I was a bit disappointed.Theres no going back once you cut someones bangs too short. And I read they offer a 2 week redo, but my daughters bangs wont grow back in time. Its cut way too short, and it was crooked on top of that. It was definitely an amateur move. If it wasnt for my 6 year old daughter telling me she liked her hair, I wouldve fought for a discount. My husband hates it and told me never to bring our daughter back. I was able to fix the crookedness at home, but obviously we just have to wait for the length to come back.

Went for baby’s first haircut and Carla did a fantastic job with my son (who was terrified and wiggly) YES, you most likely will have to help secure your child’s head so the stylist doesn’t accidentally hurt him/her because professional or not, every single person makes mistakes, especially with a screaming, wiggly, stressed out infant. If you’re reading a negative comment about this place and on the fence about it, just do it and understand you may have to assist with keeping your child still.

It was my sons very first haircut. He is 9 months old. We had Trisha cutting his hair! He had his ups and down threw out the entire cut and she was fantastic, patient, kind, and so sweet the entire time! He is at the stage of everything goes in his mouth so she gave him a comb to chew on. What ever made him happy! All and all he will forever be going there to get his hair cut! I just loved her attitude the entire time!!! Thank you so much Trisha for making a memorable moment for me and my family. Cant wait to see you again soon!

Got to see my grandson get his first haircut

The people are good who cut hair but the place is very poorly managed. They called me two hours before to confirm my appointment and then were running over 30 minutes late when I arrived. Given COVID restrictions, we were told to wait outside in 50 degree weather - with a 5 year old. I drove 20 minutes to get to this appointment and all they say is “ we run on kid time.” I will never return if they don’t have the courtesy to inform patrons when they are running so far behind.

Carla is amazing with kids. She’s the only one we trust with our curly headed child!

The place was empty when I came in for my sons haircut, a few mins later a lady with the silver hair came from the back,she looked at me like I wasnt worth her time and told me she was booked for the rest of the day, we were there for 20 mins and no one went in the store, I highly recommend sharkys cuts for all your kids theyre super sweet and professional, nope it was here, grey hair short cut older lady

I brought my 2 year old here to get a haircut with Carla! We followed her from her last place and I dont regret it at all. The facility was clean and organized. They were able to get us in same day, right when I needed the appointment. We will definitely be back and I recommend Carla every time!

I have taken my son to another shop up until today. I had to try a new place because of the virus. Im thrilled we came here and with my experience. We will definitely be coming back from now on. This place is not sanitary at all!! I was hoping to like this place as it was easy to get a appointment time on a weekend (during covid). However, this shouldve been a clue. They are packing the kids in here, there so sanitation or cleanup between cuts either. I felt very uneasy in there when I noticed this hair from the last baby still on the floor. The biggest problem was as the cut was almost over, three families with multiple people in their party came in to this tiny place and were were all stuffed in the store. They remove the masks from the kids (this I really didnt like) and there no shields between chairs or parents. I would not return here because of safety issues!!

I can’t say enough good things. It cost just as much as another shop we went to but Cookie Cutters had a lot more to offer (cute cars, personal tv show, balloon, and lollipop) and my son’s cut was even better. They fixed grandma’s botched haircut, faded his hair and cut-in the part like I asked. We ended up buying their 5 for $75 deal because we’ll definitely be coming back.

When we got home, we brushed her hair and realized it was on a slant. I didnt bother to go back and ask them to fix it. Thanks, but no thanks.

I took my kids yesterday for a haircut. My daughter was excited since we had been there before and had a very nice experience. One lady got my 14 month old and she was very nice and professional. The other one asked for my 10 year old to sit and right away I notice that she seem annoyed and was rushing. I asked only to trim the ends. I asked her if she could shampoo her hair and her face said it all. She was annoyed because now she had to do more. My daughters haircut is so uneven . I wish I had taken the time to check before we left. She obviously did not wanted to be there. Not professional at all. My daughter was not comfortable with her hair uneven I ended up taking her somewhere else to fix it.

We have been looking for a new place for along time for our son who normally cries during hair cuts... and we were so happy with how he was treated and taken care of at Cookie Cutters. Not a tear!!! We have found our new place!! I highly recommend them!
