Hey, its a one man shop, so dont expect a corporate atmosphere, sparkling clean and organized space. What you will get is an honest job from and expert technician and local small business owner. Upon initial diagnosis, Eric thought the repairs and parts would be about $275. He ordered the part and I went back to get the work done later in the day. After he took the part out, he determined the part didnt need to be replaced and just adjusted. No charge for that at all, and only charged me to recharge my AC unit. If / when I need to get my AC fixed, Ill definitely go back to him. I even gave him a tip for taking such good care of my problem in an honest, professional way. A few weeks ago my AC started blowing warm air. I looked online to see who has the best reviews and Star Auto Electric and AC Repair had a 4.9 star review. So I came here to get my vehicle diagnosed. The diagnosis was a failed AC compressor and clutch. Eric made terrific recommendations for parts. I ended up following his recommendation and buying an AC compressor kit with a lifetime warranty. After receiving the AC compressor kit, I scheduled an appointment to get it installed. Eric performed the removal of the old and installation of the new AC compressor. After installation and filling it with refrigerant, wallah!!! The AC was blowing air like an Arctic snowstorm. Eric was by himself and had to step off numerous times to assist other customers. This showed his professionalism and willingness to assist his customers. The job he performed, his professionalism, and the price value for the install were extremely outstanding! Keep up the good work and I HIGHLY recommend Star Auto Electric and AC Repair and Eric as your tech for your next AC issues, problems, diagnosis, etc. I highly recommend calling and scheduling an appointment for any service due to the amount of his workload.

Great service from Eric who gave good advice on where and what part to buy to fix the a/c in my truck. He also noticed my fan clutch was not working as it should and will adversely affect the performance of my new compressor at low speed or idle. I feel that he saved me from doing a repeat repair by noticing this. If you have electrical or a/c problems, give him a call!

I would say just visit this place if you have any AC related issue(as i had one).The person(dont know the name but a great guy to converse, highly experienced ) pointed that the condenser pressure was low and he immediately fixed it for ZERO cost. Never met a car professional like him before. VIP Auto was ripping me off for n number of things to be replaced for $2200.Visit them for genuine service & advise. Highly recommended!!

So I called this place yesterday and I wanted to give 5 stars right off the bat just because of that phone call. I have a brake light thats out, and I changed the bulb twice and it still doesnt work, so I decided to call a few places. I received quotes from others, but this place answered and the man on the phone was willing to troubleshoot the problem with me over the phone, essentially giving me the resources to fix the issue myself. That alone makes me want to spend money here, so Ill probably be stopping by to have my brake light fixed forsure.

Came in for a leak on a 2012 F150 3.5L EcoBoost and before I came in he had the issue diagnosed over the phone from at least through his experiences. I have a 2012 Nissan thats been blowing warm air, I took it to a mechanic that couldnt find the problem but all he did was charge it with freon and 5 days later it was blowing warm air. I am moving to Florida July 9th and I couldnt have my wife driving there without air. I researched ac mechanics and landed on Eric and thank God I did, I drove up to his shop yesterday told him what was going on hoping for an appointment before I leave, because he is super busy. He started asking me questions looked at the car questioned me about the cabin filter which I never heard of, put his machine on my ac unit vacuum the system filled it with the appropriate amount of freon took out the filter which was totally clogged, never seen anything so trashed, ordered me a new one on the spot put it in and sent me down the road with the coldest air Ive felt since the car was new. He did all this on the spot for an incredible fair Honest price. Im so grateful to Eric. He is the most honorble honest mechanic I have ever done business with and Im retired. Do yourself a favor and give your business to Eric!!!

Air conditioner wasnt working well, took it in and he checked it out. He topped of my coolant and now it works great. Nice guy, he said he he didnt want to charge me because he didnt do much. I tipped him.

Eric was extremely helpful when it came to my A/C problems on my Expedition. He listened to what I had done to try and fix the problem myself, and then explained what I did right and what I did wrong. He didnt make me feel bad about what I had done wrong. Instead, Eric educated me to a concern with over the counter supplies when it comes to DIY A/C repair and maintenance. He located the problem (worn blown off valve) and was able address it quickly with some hand tools. In the end he only charged me for an evac & recharge since the replacement part was simple. Really impressed with the level of knowledge and quality of service I got here. They were able to get the part and fix my AC all within just a few hours, even went above and beyond to show me the diagnostic tests, point out specifically what the issue was and did the install in front of me. Great experience and service, I went to a different shop to get the A/C fixed and they did not fix it and was charging me double to inspect it and fix it, i decided to call here and the technician was able to diagnose the problem over the phone and get it fixed the following day for less then what the other unprofessional shop was charging. I am so glad i came across his reviews they are very honest and knowledgeable, i am referring all friends and family here 100%.

As soon as Eric opened my hood he noticed Hyundai forgot to replace my air intake valve. I called Hyundai and they still had it after 3 months. Anyways, Eric opened the cap for the Freon and it was bubbling. He discharged it, replaced the shraeder (SP?) and recharged it and my AC is colder than it has ever been since I owned the car. Not only did they know what was wrong but really nice guys in the shop also. I really dont want to take my car anywhere else now. I will always check in with this shop to see if they work on any problems I have before calling anyone else. Good honest people at this place.

I was having issues getting my obd2 to communicate with the smog test machines. Took my 2013 frs to Toyota and told them that I think one of the pins is bad (common issue for this car) and they charged me $163 for a diagnostic and couldn’t narrow down the issue. They told me that the obd2 is fine and that it must be an open circuit somewhere. Dealership wanted to charge me $500 for a full wiring harness diagnostic and I bolted from there immediately. Took my car over here to Eric and after an hour of scoping it out he confirmed that it was indeed a bad pin in the obd2. He didn’t charge me for the diagnostic and told me if I pick up a new connector he’d install it. Brought a new connector in and he got it done within an hour. Eric was helpful in answering any questions I had and he was honest in his work. I appreciate shops like this because you don’t know who you can trust in this city. Car communicates and works great! Price was fair for the work done.

Great place. Customer service was great. Very professional. I came in with my 1968 mustang to get the suspension done. They went up and beyond my expectations and stuck to the budget we agreed on and even they did more than was asked. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody.

My 20 year old Mustangs air conditioner had been non-functional for about 5 years. But after 2 years in Las Vegas, I really needed it fixed to survive. Eric spent a deal of time just figuring out what was wrong with it. Turns out, it needed a computer circuit. When the part came in, they had it in quickly and efficiently. They treated me (and my car) wonderfully, and Id go back to them for any electrical problem with any car!

While on vacation in Vegas on only the first day my AC stopped working! We looked around for places to check it out. I called Star auto and he said he would charge me a reasonable price to check out the system and at least tell me whats happening. I took it in immediately they checked it out when I arrived there my AC decided to work they still checked it out and found nothing wrong with it. They were such nice guys! We drove away and 5 minutes down the road AC stopped working again. We went back they checked it again and diagnosed that the compressor was weak. I couldnt afford the part while on vacation. The man was sweet enough to try 1 more technique. Didnt seem to work at the time, but on the road we decided to turn on AC and its working like a champ! After reading reviews on Star auto electric and Ac l have decided to giving them a call for some electrical custom work on my 2015 Mercedes Leisure Travel Class B Coach . I brought my car in to get the AC compressor replaced today, before they even started to take my car apart to fix they first went over everything with my old one to see if they couldnt just get it going, and make sure it was in fact broken. They couldnt get it going, but also found out the compressor I brought in would not turn at all, and they did not charge me for the time. But overall they were awesome, professional, and Ill definitely be back once I get the compressor you guys recommended!

Our A/C stopped working while we were on vacation in Las Vegas. I found Star Auto on Google and their shop was close by to where I was staying. I went into their shop and and they took me right in. Eric did a quick check of my A/C and noticed that my compressor was not working. I was not prepared to repair this at this time so he unhooked his gauges and closed my hood. I asked him what I owed him for his time, and he said he never fixed anything so dont worry about it. I would highly recommend this shop as they are honest and fair. Thanks Eric!

It was 110 in Vegas and I had car full of kids. Googled auto ac repair and Star Auto was just 2 miles from us. My husband decided to drop us off at the mall while he brought the car in to get checked. Chris was very nice. They checked the car and turned out one of the fans was not working. The sensor had gone out. They quickly changed it and tadah! Our ac was up and running. They didnt want to charge us. Wow! We still gave them a a tip. You guys saved the day. Highly recommend this guy, came in with a starter electrical issue due to an attempted hot wire theft. Brought the car in and was up and running in just over an hour. He even glued together my cracked dash plates from the break in. Very friendly to talk with as well.
