I have never found a better place to review a bunch of top quality headphones. If you are looking for Bose or Beats, do yourself a favor instead and come here to see what John has to offer you! I sat for about an hour and a half listening to not just headphones but an array of d/a converters too, finding the perfect headphones to replace ones our dog destroyed. If you are an audiophile or just love hearing music the way the artist intended, this is the place for you!

John spent hours with me, not just walking me through the items available for purchase but helping me identify my listening style so that I could pick the headphones that would fit me the best. The selection he has is the amazing, but the service is what hooked me. When I was ready for more equipment, I didn’t even think of going anywhere else. He ended up bringing in some options he didn’t even have in stock, to give me some choices that fit my preferences and I love what I ended up with.If you just want a great selection, stuff you just can’t get at a Best Buy then this is your best choice. But if you want somebody that can answer your questions, who has *real* knowledge to share, this is your ONLY choice.

Phenomenal service. I walked in just before they were scheduled to close. John very patiently walked me through all of the headphone options. He gave me the space and guidance to do an in-depth listening experience for all of the key options. In the end, I bought a high-end digital audio player and great headphones. Im traveling with them now and am thrilled. John went out of his way to meet me later to provide some additional adapters, etc. that I needed for my travels. 5 star for sure.

What a lucky find, having the ability to try-out and test all these types of audio equipment is priceless. Having John there to walk you through this learning process is worth so much, I couldn’t express how lucky it we all are. Visiting John at his facility really helped me feel comfortable about my purchase and gives me confidence for any other purchases. I can’t wait to return to find my next pair of headphones.

Recently visited the AV boutique, initially looking for IEMs, which the store unfortunately didnt have, but was impressed by the sheer amount of headphones. The store had notable headphones like the LCD-4s, focal clears, and the new Hifiman Aryas which I personally enjoyed.Owner was very informative and helpful, and the place was surprisingly modern while maintaining a vintage and chill vibe. I would definitely recommend checking out this store if you are in the area.

As an audio enthusiast, I truly enjoyed my visit to this store. If you are at all interested in headphones whether it be to learn more about them, or to find the right pair for you, I would highly recommend you come check out this business. Not only is the owner of the store super knowledgeable, he is also not pushy when it comes to the experience of shopping there. In my opinion, he completes the shopping experience when buying audiophile gear. Its the same feeling of having a trust worthy mechanic. I will start by saying that without a doubt one of the best buying experiences I have ever had. So many options for headphones, DACs, amps, and more! Super nice environment as well. I just came to look and experience different audio from what Im used to and John didnt treat me any different despite that. He was respectful, informative, and helpful with all of my questions. After listening for an hour and a half it turns out Ive got some more learning to do for what kind of sound I like - so Ill be back! Once I find my sound Ill be picking up my equipment here for sure.

The Proprietor of The AV Boutique and his Wife were awesome when I stopped by to see what Headphones he carried. Guy I talked with on the phone was one of the most disrespectful and impatient people Ive met in my life. All I wanted was to ask a few questions about products they carry and whether or not they ship outside the U.S. and I kid you not, every time I brought something up he sighed like talking to a customer was the greatest pain in his life. Worst customer service Ive ever had. Dont shop here, not unless you want to be talked to like an ignorant child. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else. Literally anywhere else.

The Audio Video Boutique has the widest selection of headphones I’ve ever found in a retail store. Focal, Meze Audio, ZMF, Sennheiser, Audeze, Grado and Audio Technica – all available for demo. They also have headphone amplifiers from Chord, Questyle, Head Amp, Amps & Sound and others. This is simply the best place in town to check out “head-fi” gear. John know his equipment and can help you find the sound you’re looking for at any price point.

I was recently in Las Vegas and decided to go browsing for headphones. I called up the AV Boutique in downtown Vegas (northeast of the Strip) and spoke to the owner (John, I believe) over a visit. He was very welcoming, asked me to bring headphones so I could have a baseline for comparison, and invited me to stay as long as I wanted.My buddy and I got there and found out the entire store is a furniture gallery as well, with everything for sale (painting/photos/furniture/etc.). Prices arent obscene for the furniture but they ARE on the higher side. They have a mid-century/transitional style to them and everything I sat down in was extremely well designed. Its a classy place with 2 rooms to explore.This place has MASSIVE amounts of headphones. I was there for 3 hours and didnt get through everything. There was just so many things to listen to and John was very communicative and helpful. My buddy was super impressed with the LCD-XC and was leaning towards getting one. They have a turntable with various records + speakers, but I didnt get a chance to put them on.I did end up listening to: Diana Phi, Meze Empyrean, ATH-ADX5000 and the LCD-4z. I also got through the A&K DAPs and was pretty impressed by those, though making a judgment call on which one was better was pretty tough.I also wanted to say, the photos dont do this place justice. When you walk in, its pretty incredible in person. The photos are good, but the in-person experience is even more overwhelming.In the end, since I was on vacation (and they dont have used gear, everything is New) I only ended up buying a Sennheiser shirt for $20. They do have Audeze shirts and another brand represented, but no Audio Technica.Check this place out. Theyre open-house on Fridays and Saturdays, and by appointment only throughout the week. Its a no-pressure environment where you can come and learn and talk about audio. They also have a TV with a game console set up in case your company doesnt lean towards headphones.
