Our freezer was working but our fridge was not, it was hot. We set up an appointment online, only to have it canceled saying that you cant set up a warranty call online (even though our warranty booklet gives us the website and instructions for online service calls) it was then another week before they could get another tech out ( now without a fridge for 2 weeks) the first tech that comes out, walks in the kitchen looks at the fridge and says its the fan, does not even open the fridge to diagnose anything. Tells us we need to unplug the fridge and defrost it so when the fan arrives it can be put in right away. The fan should be here in 3 days. But we cannot get another appointment for a month ( now 6 weeks without a fridge) the fan does not come in, to find out it is on back order because they have to order it from China. They want to reschedule our appointment we tell them no, because after the fridge was defrosted and cleaned, we plugged it in again and the fan works just fine, we believe it to be a defrost issue. So the second tech comes out, we explain everything to him, he also refuses to open up the freezer to see if their is a defrost issue. He tells us he cannot diagnose a problem that isnt their. He says he will order the parts but until the fan stops running again, their is nothing he can do. We had to go buy a new fridge, because we are a family of 6. There are 4 children in our house. We have been without or fridge for 2 months. Worst company ever. Lazy and gives no damns. Wants to do as little work as possible and doesnt take care of the problems. Would give negative stars if possible.

Tech was able to install water filter with force that I could not do. For that the cost was $150 for the visit and $50 for labor. Cost seemed excessive for what needed to be done. Tech was professional.

We called Sears for service on our washer after it didnt stop filling and we had water running everywhere. They were able to come out within 2 days of our issue, they called to let us know a technician was on the way along with an email with his picture, which I thought was a wonderful safety feature. Louis was friendly and professional when he arrived at our home, quickly and efficiently diagnosed our issue and had it fixed in no time. He was extremely patient and answered all our questions and left our laundry room free of any debris or dirt from his repair. I would highly recommend Sears Appliance Repair and especially Louis if you ever need a repair. I will 100% use them in the future should the need arise.

My air condition unit is under Sears Protection Warranty. It was fixed in less time that I expected. Starting with Sears representatives to technicians, they all have a great amount of knowledge, experience, high standard of customer service including honor their promises, date and time they assign. I really appreciate the way Sears does the job by taking care of customers and follow up all the way until after finishing the repair to make sure the customer received the best service and satisfied. It is piece of mind when having Sears Protection Warranty knowing that it is backed by a company and staff whose hard to be found these days. Thanks so much to every Sears employee that I have dealt with to fix my AC unit.

Very Professional. Diagnosed the issue and repaired it quickly. I could tell he is a gentleman He was professionally dressed. Attitude was excellent. He was cheerful-and focused. He diagnosed that the ice-maker wasnt working. He went outside to order another. He came back in and said we got lucky. I can pick the last one that have in the warehouse. I told him he could do another day.He laughed and said if I dont get it done today, itll a couple of weeks minimum b4 someone can install it, if the ice maker isnt gone. I will be back about 4:30PM. He was back at 4:20.He didnt look as sharp as he did at 8:00. I could tell hed been working hard all day. He brought it in and installed the new one in 10 minutes or so. I left him alone.He left the area where he worked spotless. You couldnt tell he had worked there. The ice-maker started working in about 3 hours. Its been putting out great cubes since he was here.I think his name was Ken. I am 70. Seldom have I seen a more professional, kind and goal oriented tech. Thank you, Sears

I need help with my Home warranty people. Your tech said I needed a new ice maker. I contacted Home Shield and they scheduled me with two different appliance people AFTER I specifically asked for SEARS. They did this to me on a dryer and I ended up with THREE different contractors all putting in different parts and its STILL NOT WORKING. I even called them after a 31 minute wait and they said they would change my request to SEARS. Almost a week has passed and Ive heard NOTHING. Please help.

Our refrigerator finally decided to not cool after a good many years. Finally had to get it looked at, so I went online to make an appointment. The online scheduling was simple and quick, confirmation was sent to me immediately. The service information stated a $99 service fee regardless if repair will be done or not, I already expected that. There is no free service, and Im OK with it. $99 is much cheaper than most other places.I received a courtesy reminder call for the service appointment. I also opt for text message, so I got a text the morning of. About 15 minutes prior, I received a text that technician is on the way, and there was link to click, so I can see the picture and the name of my technician. Thats was good to have, so I know how he looked like before he showed up.KENNETH, showed up shortly and he was a very pleasant man. Professional and courteous. He stepped onto the foyer area, immediately put on a pair of booties, to protect my carpet. Started looking at the fridge immediately. He explained the problems and gave me the cost of the repair. He also introduced the Home Warranty program, which has a monthly charge, totaling about $840 a year. Getting it will knock off 50% from todays service.I know a lot of people will say its a scam to get it. But in my perspective, this is my home and things get old. If I were to buy a new fridge, air conditioner, stove, etc. It would cost me way more than $840. So I went for it. My home is not brand new anymore and the appliance and systems are no longer in warranty. So why not, for a year, I know that my things will be fixed or replaced at a much lower cost.The service was done within an hour. Kenneth even offered to help me put all my groceries back inside.Thank you!

Very pleased with the pleasant repair technician, and the repair service, however, it took two days for the appointment, the technician charged approx. $95.00 for the diagnosis and once diagnosed, charged approx. $100.00 for the part (one small fan) and an additional $165 for the labor to replace the fan. Altogether I believe our bill was about $365.00. That same week our dishwasher also went out and we found another repair shop that provided same day service and does not charge for the diagnosis if they are asked to do the repairs. We think that is a much more reasonable outcome, and will saved us approximately $95.00. We will be using the second repair service on any future service calls since both did a very good job on the two appliances but one was nearly $100 cheaper.

Had my refrigerator and dishwasher get its annual service provided by the extended Sears Appliance Warranty I have on each machine. The technicians were friendly, professional, and efficient. I had one worn out part in the dishwasher (it is 13-yrs-old); the tech ordered the part, and I got it in three days.Great service and great warranty - well worth the money.

I have had good service from Sears in the past, but this was a glaring exception. In fact, I dont think the repair tech knew anything about a gas range beyond what he had read in a service manual 5 minutes before his arrival.He came twice and both times, from the moment he walked in the door, his entire focus was that we had to buy a new stove. He didnt do any diagnosis. The first time, he listened to the symptoms, said it was apparently one of three things, gave us an estimate of what I assume was the most expensive part and left. The second visit (I had figured out a more accurate description of the problem) was much the same. In the mean time I had found the users manual and, apparently, its possible to calibrate the oven. I asked him about it; he didnt know how to do it. When I told him what the users manual said, he checked and told me it was set to 20 and that the max was 35, told me it would be impossible to replace the controller, which was probably the offending part, and then he left without doing anything - this time giving me a coupon for a new stove. In other words, I paid $85.00 for nothing! I tried recalibrating the oven myself and the oven is working - at least for now.Sears Service will no longer be my first choice for appliance repairs.

Our washing machine was making a horrific grinding sound, especially during the spin cycle. We called Sears repair to make an appointment. The technician was on time and polite. He diagnosed the problem quickly (loose change found its way to the pump) and removed it. My only suggestion for a better experience would be to have the schedulers take it a bit easier on pushing service contracts when making appointments.

My refrig had been running cool tried turning up but no change. So sears sent out tech and it was only about a half hour and was said that main was bad. Luckily the tech had a board on hand, repaired and to wait 48 hrs plugged back in and good to go. Thanks

Absolutely the biggest waste of time!! Do not use their services ! Had an appointment set between 1-5 pm. I took the day off from work to get my washer repaired figured sears would be reputable company I was wrong!! I called At 3:30pm since no one had showed up the manager Kristine stated I was next on the list and the service team would be there shorty. Around 4:30 I called again since no one still didn’t showed up and told me my appointment had been rescheduled??? Really??!! Complete waste of time!! DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!!

Started out 1hr late..6:15pm. Repairman had attitude. Banging parts around. Dropping water down the front of wood cabinet. He didnt even seem to notice. Price wasnt was I was expecting.. no parts needed. Just diagnosed and found the problem. And double the fee.. I will be tell my neighborhood and friends to be leary.

The customer care with Sears has been less than desirable. Our family, including our dogs, have been left without AC for several days in 115* degree weather. The service department has been out three times and has not been able to figure out the problem. There is absolutely zero assistance with expediting the process to have a technician come out. Sears used to be an upstanding company. Now were left with overseas customer service to handle our issues. Shame on you for you lack of commitment for your customers.

GREAT SERVICE! Im so glad I got the extended service warranty. The annual maintenance is already worth it. Turns out the incompetent plumber (not Sears!!) who installed my water softener made a mistake. The annual maintenance agreement I purchased is the only reason I it was found and fixed. Totally worth the cost.

I have already given the feedback for the service tech, Willie, which was great. I have nothing to say yet about my new Hot Water Heater because I have not gotten it yet. It was supposed to be between 24 and 48 hours but the weekend came there and you dont work on the weekend. I am looking forward to being high up on your schedule for Monday April 27, 2020. Boiling water to wash dishes and bathe is not an easy task.

The first man came on time, seemed totally disinterested to be there. He diagnosed the problem, said he would order the part and left. The part came and we got a second repairman, Balthazar came. He found the wrong part had been ordered. Since the stove was pulled out and unusable, he went to get the correct part, was back in a flash and completed the repair. Stove is working just fine now. Next time I have a repair done, I want Balthazar to do it !!

My dishwasher is under a maintenance agreement. I made the appointment online, and then was told later that an online appointment is not applicable for maintenance agreements, and I would have to pay a diagnostic fee. Even though this was the very same day I made the original appointment-in fact, not even an hour later-they then changed the appointment for a later day. When the service tech came, he found that the dishwashers drain lines had been eaten by a rat, or mouse, and that had caused it to malfunction. He told me the repair would not be under warranty. I had him fix it anyway, because I needed the dishwasher! He charged he $247 for the replacement of the drain pipe, which included a $59 diagnostic fee! I feel like I was cheated and the maintenance agreement that I pay for continually was useless. Since that time, although I caught the mouse, another one has eaten a bit out of the drain pipe. I dont want to call SEars to come and repair it again, because the cost, with maintenance agreement, is prohibitive. Im waiting to catch the second mouse (my pest control guy tells me he thinks there are only two, and put traps down), but I am not sure if I still want to call Sears for the repair or not. THEY CHARGE A LOT FOR A LITTLE WORK!! And paying a diagnostic fee for him to check my maintenance agreement dishwasher is wrong.

Reza, your serviceman, gave us service that was exceptional. He determined that refrigerator needed a new compressor. Your scheduling dept. was setting the date for his return to replace the compressor over 8 days later. I am disabled and Reza was able to get the repair done the next day. I am thankful you have someone willing to go above and beyond to help someone in my condition. Refrigerator is cooling great but had to schedule a new service appointment as the ice maker does not work. 5 stars to Reza!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The replacement of the motherboard in my refrigerator went very well, and the technician knew exactly what he was doing. The arrival time of the technician was a complete disaster. I had originally been given a time slot of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. On the morning of the appointment, the time slot for arrival was changed by Sears four (4) different times!

Everything went well with the service that the man came to perform. He even did more than asked.The issue occurred at the end when the second appliance was being looked at and the parts needed to be ordered and the appointment scheduled.The appointment system glitched out and wouldnt show any Friday openings, which are the only days I can be home. I became concerned that Id either be stuck ordering a part that Id never get installed, because of my availability; or that Id be unable to order the part because they apparently wont order them without an appointment--and get stuck with the $80 trip charge.The service people apparently have no way to go around this system by phone if bugs happen, as they did while he was at the house. We went around with this, and the man became a bit short with me, after he suggested--and I rejected--several times that I make the bogus appointment for a time I couldnt be there and call later to reschedule, if that would even be possible.

I had to different tech visits just hours apart on the same day. Both successfully accomplished their preventive maintenance jobs. They were friendly and dressed appropriately.I do have a gripe. When making arrangements for the service calls it would be so wonderful if the techs actually arrived within the agreed upon window. Its not nice when they are heavy handed ringing the doorbell and banging on the front door two hours before the appointment window with no call ahead. It is not in my best interest to spend the day waiting for them if Ive been given a estimated show up window. And being early while Im somewhere else doesnt get them into the house sooner.This is my rant for today. Maybe next time scheduled times will be kept.

The serviceman who fixed the icemaker in my refrigerator arrived early and went right to work. I had previously had servicemen come to my home in Las Vegas, Nevada, to fix the problem. Each told me the problem was fixed, but it wasnt. It wasnt until I moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico, and called Sears that the problem was resolved. The serviceman found the problem rather quickly, knew exactly which part had to be replaced, and now my icemaker is working perfectly. THANK YOU SEARS! I highly recommend Sears for appliance repair.

Repairman came & did not repair the heating element of the dryer, he said that it was working & he left. It was not working ! Going to schedule the repair again. Also they gave us a window from 8am to 12pm to come by to repair but the repairman came by at 1:45 pm.......did not bother to call to say he might be late. Worst service ever!
