I deeply appreciate the attentiveness of Dr. Tucker and of all the tech staff and front desk staff, as well as the Office Manager. My dogs are of the utmost importance to me, and I must know they get the best of care. While there is no emergency care yet available in our city, we are working on this problem. In the meantime, I know I can trust Jornada Veterinary to care for my fur boys on a daily basis as needed.

Up front these guys are not my vet. However, there is a post circulating of foods that are not recommended vs what this practice recommends. I feel compelled to come and share some information. Feeding your dog good dog food made from real ingredients not from waste products is imperative for their health, but the byproduct is it keeps them out of the vets office other than an annual checkup. . The list circulating of what not to feed are products that actually keep your dog out of the vets office, and the recommended, Purina, Hills Royal Canine all help keep your dog in it. Especially the Hills and Purina. There are some brands that long have caused medical issue that are not on the list. Bottom lines is review recommendations from entities that do not financially gain from their recommendation. Not saying thats is whats happening here, but felt it was negligent to not at least come and say something.

I have been taking my cat, Annabel Lee here for the last 3 years and keep her current on her vaccines and wellness exams. The staff here is extremely nice and caring. Last year I had taken her in for a cleaning and it was discovered that she had Plasma Cell Stomatitis. Dr. Tucker did a great job with her surgery. She healed up quickly and we havent had any problems since. They care about the animals and as long as I live here I will continue to take Annabel here.

I called Jornada veterinary clinic about my cat who had an infection hoping I could get an appointment within a few days. Even though they were booked and extremely busy, they worked me in the same day. The veterinarian, assistant, and staff were very caring, compassionate, professional, and helpful. The veterinarian and assistant took the time to show me how to administer the medicine for my cat, which helped me and my cat immensely. I am very grateful to Jornada Vet Clinic. My cat is healing well.

My wait, even though I was a scheduled walk-in, was not long. Dr. Tucker answered every question and wrote down some information I wanted to use at home. They treated our dog with friendship, compassion and professionalism. I was very pleased.

They provide the friendliest and most professional care for our puppy! Newly established here from California, we were concerned we would not be able to find a Veterinarian that would live up to our expectations. They met those expectations and beat them. We are more than pleased!

After being placed on hold for a significant amount of time I was told that they were only open for 30 more minutes and would not be taking any more patients. My animal was attacked and probably needed euthanized but I was told to go to El Paso.

Ive been taking my pets here for years and they have always done a great job. I always leave with the feeling that they truly care about my pets well being. They have seen my dogs, my cat and chameleon I had many years ago...I appreciate the staff for always being polite, kind and professional.

Prices are not competitive but get great service for my cat Baloo. For kittens the price was too steep but otherwise, I am happy with the care my cat is getting.

We received excellent service on a request for a medication refill. Of course, we were established clients there. But all of our experiences have been very good with two different dogs. Even with the pandemic we have had good communication while waiting in our car during appointments.

Ive been brining my dogs to Jornada since 2003. They really love animal. They are always happy to see my dogs, and my dogs are always happy to see them. Ive never even thought about going to another clinic. My dogs have had cactus needles surgically removed, coyote bites treated, tumors removed, as well as all manner of routine veterinary treatments. Pets are a part of the family, and I trust Jornada to treat my pets.

The staff at Jornada always takes care of my animals. They are efficient, they are friendly and they communicate with their clients well. I never feel lost after a procedure or just an annual check up. Thank you Jornada Staff!

Weve been going to this clinic since we arrived to Las Cruces in 2017.Everyone is professional and caring.Every Veterinarian caring for our dogs have been wonderful, very caring and explain everything going on with our dogs and they make sure we understand the situation. The Veterinarians call the next day to check on our fur babies and get an update.I recommend this Clinic to anyone who loves their pet.

I have been taking my dogs, cat and Amazon parrot to the Jornada Veterinary Clinic since 2002. I have always been totally confident regarding the care my pets are receiving. I have never had a negative experience. The veterinarians are all top drawer. The vet. techs are all friendly and knowledgeable and very good with the animals. The office staff are all friendly, helpful and good at there jobs. I remember on one visit being very moved and touched by Dr. Souls and how she handled my Blue Australian Cattle Dog. He was hiding under a chair and would not come out so Dr. Souls sat down on the floor and said Come on my little blue man as she gently brought him out. All of the staff are gentle and respectful with my pets. I am always able to ask questions and feel satisfied with the answers I am given. I do not believe I could find a better Veterinary practice anywhere else. I feel very lucky to have found Jornada Verinary Clinic. I can honestly recommend them without any reservations.

I have an elderly dog and needed to get her in ASAP for a medical problem. They were so helpful and double booked and appointment so that she could be seen the next day. I will forever be grateful for the caring staff of Jornada Veterinary clinic.

Knows nothing of animal nutrition or science based research.

It’s very clear they do not have any type of pet nutritionist on staff. They are promoting certain pet food brands for kickbacks and not because they are good for your pets. Read the ingredients list of their “only feed these brands” list yourself. It’s not hard to see how untruthful this place is with their clients. If they are dishonest regarding your pets food, I can only imagine the other ways they scam their clients.

Based on a memo from this clinic that has gone viral on Facebook, this organization clearly prioritizes dog food brand partnerships over your dogs health. The recommendations made in that memo for dog food was the sole reason my childhood dog developed diabetes and passed at an early age. Any recommendations and even medical opinions must be treated as tainted by outside partnerships that are funding this clinic.

Our 4-legged family members have been going here for years. They have been very satisfied with the care.

Almost immediately suggested to put down my rats when one had a tumor, and assumed the other had cancer because of a sore. I would assume they don’t value small animals lives as much as they do the traditional dog and cat.

Whats happened to this business?Been a customer here for nearly 5 years with all our dogs. This morning our golden was in distress and we feared a reaction to a medication they prescribed for her.But when we called at 9:03 AM we were told to take her to some place in El Paso? Really?We called the first vet on our search who said they were on a 1/2 day and very busy, but the Doc said to bring her in ASAP. 👈 And today is Christmas Eve!We actually passed our (now former) vets office at 9:23 on our way to another (now our new ) vet and the parking lot was empty! Empty!Good thing we found them as she was in need of immediate intervention like we suspected.Thats the way you treat long standing customers? Our dog deserved better, and as long standing customers, we did too. Fortunately, we found it across town. Done.

I’m sorry but this is a money hungry vet facility, they will try and throw useless options into their pricing and then when you deny those unnecessary options they turn around and give attitude or offer excuses. We lost 2 puppies in the process of birth due to poor communication, inaccurate information passed and our pup suffered due to this.

This is the worst Veterinary clinic in Las cruces I spoke to a Karlie and she just passed the phone to Debbie. My dog is very sick and needs to be put down. I was advised by Debbie it is not in their policy to help with something like this, that I should f/up with my normal veterinary with no compassion. My dog is a family member not a number. Good vet. Never really had any problems here. Got a rabies shot for my dog that made him sick for a day, but other than that, he has been taken care of here. Their prices seem to be normal and I would recommend to others in the area.

I have used Jornada Vet clinic since 2000. I have always received great care until yesterday. My husky jumped a fence and caught her foot/leg. It was bent at a 90 degree angle. We jump in the car and head to Jornada, I called to give a heads up, was put on hold for over 5 minutes only to be told sorry take her to an El Paso vet. REALLY!?!? The whole time this lady could hear my dog crying in pain. I went past them and pulled into the Animal hospital down the road and they jumped into action. Brought a stretcher out took her in and sedated her, gave her pain meds, THEN started the paperwork. They had never seen me or my animals. Animal hospital has a new client with 6 dogs and a cat. I will not recommend Jornada again because apparently they have so much business they don’t feel the need to take care of emergencies for clients of 20 years.

We have been with Jornada Veterinary for well over 13 years. They have always treated our furbabies with the utmost compassion. They talk to us, not at us. They are EXCELLENT! I highly ecommend this clinic for your furbabies.

My sweet little cat got so sick over the Labor Day weekend. They got me an appointment first thing Tuesday morning and it turns out she was suffering from a pretty serious liver problem. Dr. Tucker and staff took amazing care of Harlow. He was friendly, informative and took the time to answer each and every question I had. They called several times a day to update me on her care since she had to be hospitalized for 4 days. Im not going to lie and say it was cheap because it was far from it, but it was absolutely worth it. Thank you Dr. Tucker, Vickie and the rest of the staff that made this process a little easier!

We took our 2 Maltese female puppies to Jornada to have them spayed. Everything was excellent. The intake interview process asked questions regarding their health & the staff wanted to assure me that they would take excellent care of them during the procedure. When I came to pick them up later in the afternoon, again the staff was very attentive & reviewed with me the take home meds & instructions for after-care. We are not locals just visiting the area for 6 months. I can assuredly state that if you are wanting superior care for your pet, Jordana Veterinary Clinic will be your choice. Superior care, compassionate knowledgeable staff, excellent Veterinarians, clean clinic and reasonable prices is what we experienced at Jornada Veterinary Clinic. BTW, if you are a senior citizen, they do have a Senior Discount, just ask!

We have been taking our pets to Jornada for 26 years. Even with the changes due to COVID, I continue to be impressed with their professionalism and responsiveness. Most recently, I am grateful for Dr. Hicks and Dr. Miales help with my very sick cat. He would have died without their treatment and he is doing so much better now, just one week later.

Phenomenal experience from start to finish. I talked to multiple people on the phone and each was as friendly and helpful as the last. Dr. Gardner walked me through all of my dogs treatment options without being pushy and belittling. I wont be taking my pets anywhere else in Las Cruces.

Appointments and Walk Ins:- Wouldnt advise anyone with a busy schedule to come here- Unless you are looking for specific work to be doneQoS:- You would hope you would get more service out of the Arm and Leg they charge you, you can spend hundreds of dollars, be given a lack luster diagnosis- If your animal is in critical condition would not recommend here at all they do not offer overnight service or at least that is what I was told, I paid hundreds of dollars to make sure my animal was okay yet was sent home with some meds and my animal passing a day later.- My family had been using this vet for years and I have no clue what happen to the quality but it is far from what it used to beYour best bet would be go to a more friendly, caring, and cost friendly vet.

This place was very helpful in helping me bring my dog out of a dangerous situation, this facility truly is miraculous. The pricing and estimates are like handling at a car dealership for the pre and post game options of your pets situation and can lead to some extensive cost.Also if you purchase all the added packages please ensure that you double check your list against your medication and other items theres always the possibility youll have to go back a couple of times to retrieve items you never received.

Our little Pomeranian was examined and treated with the utmost of care. She now is as healthy as can be.

Pricey, and the walk in hours change depending on their staff without notice. We spent hundreds on a very sick dog and he started crashing today quickly. I was told I could bring him back if this happened. I popped in hoping to see his vet or a vet or set up a time to see his vet and I found the receptionist to be rude. I was first told they dont take walk ins until 1:30... it was around 1:10, then she said actually, they are not taking walk ins today at all due to being short staffed. We were the only people there besides the staff the waiting room was empty. She did not try to help schedule a later time or ask me any questions. My 8 yr old daughter asked me why were we treated that way when we left the building, like we did something wrong. I wont be bringing any of my dogs back. I ended up taking him to another vet today and the prices were reasonable and that vet was caring so maybe this experience worked out for us.

Called about getting some vacs. They offered a wellness exam which I cannot afford. When I declined, they had no appointments for vaccines available BUT did have them for wellness exams? Glad to see where their priorities lye and its not with helping the customer. Typical practice here in Cruces though.

We just got home from an appointment there, and I was so pleased with the care we received that I had to write a review. They were so kind to see my cat as a walk-in. My cat had a UTI, and since she provided a sample on the spot, they were able to do a urinalysis right away. The vet, Sue, was very thorough with her explanation of my cats condition and all of our treatment options. The assistant (whos name I forgot. Sorry!) was up-front with the cost of different options, and neither she nor the vet tried to up-sell anything, which was a refreshing change from our last vet in Texas. Im a very satisfied customer. All of the staff was friendly and the facility was very clean. Ill be making this our regular vet.

Over all the employees are very nice the only issues we had is their curb side is a big inconvenience they take so long to tend to you there is absolutely no shade to park if you have your dog in the back of the truck they are in direct sun it is too hot and they take too long to have your pets out side like this they need to come up with a better way to serve their customers!

Very pleased. Went in after puppy hurt her paw on an emergency visit. Vet saw us very quickly, saved us as much money as possible, but gave awesome care! Best part is if the issue didnt resolve the check up was gonna be free. Even though the Clinic is much farther than our original vet we like this one more! Very friendly staff!

Weve been talking our dog and two cats to this veterinary office for six years now. Always excellent service. Never had to wait long, even when I brought my dog in one time in a semi-emergency situation and did not have an appointment. He was treated quickly and competently. Highly recommended.

The surly lady that replied to my request for an appointment had a rude and dismissive tone. This place used to have a friendly staff, Im not sure whats happened in the last couple of years.

Took my dog in to get some stitches removed since we were traveling and away from our usual vet. My dog is aggressive with strangers and can be hard to work with but the staff here did very well with him. Theyre body language and demeanor was great and they were very understanding.

This Veterinarian has respect for your pet and you. They understand that many people are on a fixed income and will give you an honest opinion and choices when asked. I highly recommend them as they have been very upfront and honest with us.

The staff members are professional and knowledgable, and they run their business ethically. After failing to trim my dog’s nails while he was under for a dental procedure as I had requested and as was written in the preoperative notes, they acknowledged their mistake and offered to sedate him again to trim his nails, free of charge. While a second sedation was not ideal, I appreciate that they immediately took responsibility for an honest mistake.

In response to some comments on here about a new employee, I would like to point out this particular employee is amazing with animals! I know him well and I have never met someone who genuinely cares about all living creatures like he does.What staff does with their personal time is irrelevant but in any case Im sure jornada takes proper steps to ensure they hire quality candidates which I strongly believe Keith is.I used jornada vet for the care of my Corgi who was very ill. They took great care of us down to the last day. I know the staff is great here and I believe Keith will be an asset to this team.

Not good,took my cat that was very sick,was treated like a number! 700.00 and no answers,when I came back to pick her up,they left her in her carrier,peed and poop all over my Angel....she died two days later,i have other fur babies I would never bring them back there....

We were visiting Las Cruces and needed a Vet to examine our dog. We were leaving the next day and Jornada Clinic worked us in. The experience was outstanding. They examined our dog and spent allot of time discussing our options. We could not have expected a better visit and diagnosis. What a great clinic.

Recently, both of my older dogs were in for dentals and senior workups, Dr. Soules discovered a small tumor that I had not felt before on one of my dogs- Im so grateful for the thorough work up and the time to Dr. Soules spent with my dogs. I have no doubt that due to the care my animals have received from Jornada V.C. through the years has prolonged their lives! Great place!

Must be our bad luck. 3 animals, hundreds of dollars, not one success. One died on the table while they were still pitching the deluxe cost package. No more for us. Greedy as the animal hospital/same outfit i think. Edit: no, vicki, after the volunteers confessed that the tattoo sleeve circus person you employ said oh she can get another dog at an crying 80 year old leaving with her pet you watched code out while you were talking, no, you are not the class of people we need grudges from. Have been a client since the 80s. Took 14 yr dog in because of a stroke or seizure. Had called in & was told it might be an emergency. Waited for an hour as a walk in then I reminded them why I was there so they took her back to be accessed & brought back saying it would be just a few more min. since we were a walk in. Waited more than 30 min. more & still nothing so we left. Luckily the dog survived but no thanks because of them. Im beside myself in how we were treated.

I would like to start with saying that I have been to other vet clinics in Las Cruces and have not had a negative experience at any, however I like Jornadas service and staff the most.The staff at Jornada is very helpful and accommodating. I am a hound Hunter and occasionally accidents happen to my pack, knowing this the doctors at Jornada graciously and totally unprompted assembled a basic first aid kit for me at no charge. What a nice gesture.One of my hounds had a small congenital hernia that showed later in his life. The next day I was a walk in to the office ( no appt) and even though they were very busy that day they still found a time slot to have a look at my boy. Some people I see are complaining about the wait for walk-ins but I was just happy to get in when they were swamped. I waited about 2 hours.They scheduled his surgery the very next day (again totally unprompted, I wasnt insisting at all) and since I was a walk in I took it even more graciously because it was totally unexpected. This was just one of the very pleasant and above and beyond customer service Ive experienced at Jornada.Jornada has very good prices too. I have always been surprised at how affordable their care is. My dogs minor hernia operation was very affordable.Take it from a very happy customer. Jornada Vet clinic is an excellent place to take your dogs

I live in hanover and had taken my amazon to a local vet for nail trim and wing clip. Long story short the other vet broke my birds leg. I called made an appt. Ran into trouble getting there but they took me in when i got there. Straight back into roomset my birds leg did a great job all my birds will come to this vet now. Great people friendly staff. Loved my experiance with these guys.

Ive been using jornada Veterinary Clinic for the past 20 years or more. They have always been attentive courteous and kind and they put your pet first. If you have an appointment they always get you in right away.

I took my dog to Jornada as a walk in today. I was very impressed with all the staff. Everyone was very friendly and competent. The Vet was very informative and gave me all the information along with my options. I felt that they had my dogs well being in mind. I was never pressured to spend extra on anything, in fact I was given options and advice to help me save money. As more and more veterinary clinics seem to be moving to the upselling system, it was refreshing to have such an excellent experience. I would highly recommend Jornada to anyone seeking a vet in the Las Cruces area, they have earned my business for as long as I live here.

Affordable and friendly. Being that Im a first time owner of a Maltipoo, i needed a lot of information and they were happy to answer all my questions. They are efficient and clean .

Our dog got attacked by a coyote and was very traumatized and had a lot of lacerations. Dr. Soules and her staff were very gentle and delicate with her and truly helped us through this terrible ordeal. Dr. Soules was Great with her and went above and beyond to clearly explain her injuries and how they needed to treat her. She is getting better every day. Our Family cannot Thank Them enough for ALL their Compassion and Excellent care during this tough time.

OK service. One of our guinea pigs survived after two surgeries on cancerous mammal glands. Thanks for the service. However, he died at 4 years 10 months and my other guinea pig died at 1 year 7 months same day after molar tooth surgery, Probably due to overdose or side effect of anesthetic drug. Guinea pig is very sensitive to anesthesia and please do due research.

Excellent service for a short notice walk in on a Friday. Dr Miale was very thorough on explaining the potential diagnosis for our cat and the treatment options. Well worth the drive for us as we live west of Mesilla.
