The last Vet we used couldnt see her for 3 months. Then we found the pet hospital. They saw her in less than a week. My dog was constantly scratching by the next day I could already see an improvement. I highly recommend Animal Hospital of Las Cruces. We found our forever Veterinarians.

Ive been taking my dogs there for 11 years. Its become hard to get seen now which is frustrating but the service is still great when you do. Fair, reasonable, caring.

I just moved to Las Cruces from Chicago and my Boxer has been stressed and seemed to have a UTI. I called every vet in town, left voicemails (some of which are still not returned) was left on hold, and was turned away because of no availability for new patients. Animal Hospital of LC took us in as walk-ins and checked out my fur-baby. Dr. Morrow was thorough and very professional. He had reviewed her medical records and called me to discuss the check-up. The ladies at the front desk (also on the phone) were kind, friendly and also professional. I think we found our new vet!

Probably due to covid-19 every veterinarian in the area was booked solid. most would not even answer the phone. they got my old dog in within a week and everyone could not have been nicer. i wish I could give more than 5 stars.trying to explain how great they are is a harder than it sounds. trust me, if you need a veterinarian go here.

Happy all around with services here. Had our little dog spayed and results were very satisfactory. They are doing a very good job managing the service from the cars but, really looking forward to being able to visit in person.

Just left this Animal hospital and was treated like we were gold! All the staff that I met today were absolutely outstanding! From the Vet on duty to the assistants were so respectful. On a busy Saturday they were so fast to check us in and coming outside to pick up our Abby. As I stayed I my car outside (due to Covid restrictions) they called me four times to give me aupdate on her progress!I would so highly recommend Animal Hospital and Emergency Care Facility! Traveling through Las Cruces my dog became very ill. This veterinary hospital did everything possible to get me in that same day with an appointment for my dog. They were thorough, caring, considerate, professional and most of all were able to figure out what was wrong, give me appropriate medication to help her, and advice on what to expect next. I’d highly recommend this practice.

The staff is amazing and very helpful and they took me in as a walk-in and I didn’t have to wait long even though they were already booked. I appreciate all they did for my baby girl!!

I highly recommend. They are caring, professional, and keep me updated. My dog started getting sick and his regular Vet would not set up an appointment. I began trying to get another Vet but no one would see my dog. Excuses were too busy, not accepting new patients, COVID, etc. A few more weeks go by and my dog is not getting better. I make all the calls again and with the same results. Even calling Animal Hospital in this shuffle, but they were experiencing an emergency and my dog was not really at an emergency yet. Then my dog got worse. I called and basically began begging for someone to see my dog again. I did not feel that it was a life or death (yet) but he really needed to be seen. When I explained this to the staff at Animal Hospital they set me up with an appointment and they have been caring for my dog and he is getting better. Treatment would have probably worked better if he had been seen sooner but with out Animal Hospital my dog may not be here now. I truly appreciate the Animal Hospital and their compassion. I am still waiting on calls from other Vets from November who said they would call me back with an appointment, if that speaks to their compassion. I know other people who have received great care through the Animal Hospital as well.

We were visiting from out of state and our dog tore his dew claw on Sunday. We called first thing on a Monday morning and got a mid morning appt. The curbside service was excellent. The phone call from the vet assured us well was fine. It was worth the short wait and very reasonable fee to make sure our dog was ok.

I first went here because they were only vet giving apps but experiences of all my apps was perfect and have been very pleased with them including prices.

We needed somewhere to take our dog on a Sunday morning to have her put to sleep. They were able to get us in quickly and were extremely gracious through the whole process. They used lasting paws pet memorial for cremation and we received ashes back within the week. We are forever thankful.

My chihuahua was mauled and needed emergency care. Due to COVID-19 restrictions we had to turn him over to the staff in a kennel and leave and wait for phone call. We received information as soon as possible and were reassured he would be seeing the doctor as soon as possible. We greatly appreciated the care and concern for our baby that the staff and vet gave. I would highly recommend them and will be following up for care for my dog.

The staff here is great! Everyone I’ve spoken to over the phone has been very friendly as well as the techs that come out to get my pets. The veterinarian took the time to explain everything that was going on with my cats in a very detailed manner and made sure that all of my questions were answered and all of my concerns were addressed. I was given an appointment for all three cats in a very timely manner, which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

I needed a Monday appointment for a dog who had gone lame on Sunday afternoon and was in pain. They said the earliest they could schedule was 3 pm because they were very busy and that was fine with me. Very busy was an understatement! When I arrived (2:45) the parking lot was, for all practical purposes, full and clients were parking in the lot next door. Despite this, my dog was taken in at the appointed time by professional staff. The vet called to discuss diagnosis and treatment and my pet was returned to the car shortly thereafter. I wouldnt hesitate to return or recommend this facility.

This place saved my dog’s life. I cannot thank them enough. They diagnosed him with a rare disease after a week of hospitalization for seizures and low blood sugar. We really had exhausted all options and the outcome looked ominous. The team here suggested one last test, really just grasping at straws and it diagnosed our boy. They helped us work through the cost, stress, and emotional struggle as we navigated the entire process. I won’t take my animals anywhere else at this point. My only complaint is I feel less secure now that their hours aren’t around the clock but that is completely out of their control.

When we arrived we contacted the office and they were very prompt to come to our car to pick up our fur babies. This animal hospital is the BEST animal hospital anyone could ever go to. I always have exceptionally exquisite service. They hooked up my new kitten. I was told my kitten had a life long eye problem, they fixed her with one visit. My dog miso had an emergency with his leg and they were able to identify the issue and help my dog within an hour. They gave all of my animals help faster, cheaper, and better than every other animal clinic in the entire las cruces and El Paso area. Thank you so much for being here and being so helpful. I couldn’t be so grateful to be so close to a facility this special. This place is one of a kind.

Let me start by saying the positive: I love the vets here, especially Dr. Walley. She is very empathetic and nurturing for my dogs and I very much appreciate that.However, the curbside service is VERY poor, largely due to the lack of responsiveness when we call in. A 30 minute appt turned into a 90 minute one this last Wednesday because the staff never picked up. Ever. I had to talk to a very nice tech who was seeing another client in the parking lot. That was the only way I could actually get my pet into see Dr. Walley.30 times; thats the number of times I called with no response; just voicemail. When Dr. Walley finally called me back to discuss the examination, it went straight to voicemail because they were using some burner phone which was not in my address book (I have to silence unknown numbers because of endless spam calls). That meant yet more call backs to the office with no responses. Once again, a friendly vet tech who was delivering another furkid to their owner had to help me in person, in the parking lot.There has got to be a better way to make this system work. However, until there is, I will not be coming here anymore. Its a shame really; Ive been going to Animal Hospital of Las Cruces since the 1990s and have always appreciated their great vets and prompt services.

Me Chihuahua was attacked by a German Sheppard. I called in and they made a Same day appointment so I wouldn’t be charged the emergency Room price. They took my Baby in and and tended to his wounds immediately. I could tell they cared by the way they held Mad Max and he didn’t even growl at them. He’s receiving well and taking his meds. Best place ive been for help with my dog yet people were fantastic.

My pup and I have visited the Animal Hospital twice now (once for a routine exam and another for a vaccine update) and each time we have encountered friendly, loving staff (lots of pets for Moosey) who are straightforward and helpful. Ive not been to many vets offices where they see you quickly and while getting you in/out are still incredibly friendly and answer your questions thoroughly. Also their prices are very reasonable, when I went in for the vaccine update they only charged me for the vaccine (because I had no other questions or anything) instead of the vaccine AND an exam like most offices do. We love it here!

Although I could not go in, my dog, Phoebe was taken care of quickly and with care. She had a checkup and shots! They took great care of her! Thanks, Dr. Pirtle and staff are exceptional and caring!

This place is a disaster. They usually only have 1 vet at a time. They call themselves a animal hospital but they limit the number of emergencies per day. Used to be a good clinic until covid. Very sad las cruces needs a real animal hospital. They told me to go to el paso.

Took my dog in for an emergency, even though they were packed, they showed prompt attention to get my dog diagnosed and under treatment. The vet herself spoke with me about the specifics of his condition and treatments throughout the entire process. Sincerely so appreciative of them. It’s been 5 days and my dog is 100% back to normal

These people are awesome! I had used another vet for 20 years, and when I needed emergency care for 1 of my dogs, they said they were to busy and to go to El Paso. I came here and they rushed her in and fixed her up! She jumped a fence, and dislocated joints in her rear leg. They set the bones back in place and she came home with a splint. I had all my records transferred here this morning.

Exceptional service and knowledge. We have been going to Animal Hospital of Las Cruces since they were at the Lohman location. Although all the Vets and Staff are terrific, Dr. Morrow is very conscientious about speaking with us and explaining issues with our animals. We don’t live close to the Animal Hospital but it is worth the long drive. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

AHECLC got him in almost immediately and not because they are not busy with clients, they most certainly are, but because they are service conscience and care about what they do for our pets. Been going here for over 20 years, with numerous dogs and cats. Extremely knowledgable, frendly, and are fantastic surgeons. My dogs have had numerous surgeries that all went fantantic without complications. Staff is wonderful and very helpful. Extremely clean facilities.

Despite the continuing chaos caused by the pandemic, the vets at Animal Hospital & Emergency Center of Las Cruces were able to get my cat in for a check-up without too much delay.

Animal hospital saw my dog with an ear infection same day I called. No other vet in town was available until late March.

Even though they are the emergency vet they are “too busy” to see animals that need immediate care. Trash.

I trust them with my dog. They have been a fantastic service provider. Plus, they take PetPlan and Care Credit, which are invaluable for me.

When I first called to get more info, and I spoke to a lady, her name was Ashley. She was so nice, professional and really informative!! She gave me all the info I needed n answered all my questions!!! Once I got there, I dealt with another lady and she as well was really nice! Her name was Susana, I’m not so sure though but she was the one that kept coming out n getting the puppies from the owners on Saturday, the 25th of April. I really appreciate you ladies, and everyone at this location!!!!!!! My fur bby is back to herself!!! Thank you all!!

I brought my dogs there for over 11 years. The whole clinic has gone down hill FAST. Need an appointment? Youll wait the better part of 2 weeks. Im done with them. Theres no redeeming qualities at all anymore at this place. They almost killed my dog with vaccines...YES vaccines that she had an allergic reaction to because they put both meds in one syringe. PASS! Cristina who answers the phone is one of the rudest most condescending people Ive ever dealt with. Do they ever care? Nope.

Went to Dr Johnson for the better part of 25 yrs, he is a great vet (which is why I did 3 stars instead of 1) but the new combo with the emergency clinic is not being run well. I have never had them not work with me to get a pet in when we were in trouble until last week. Really sad about this but after they told us we could come sit in the waiting room for what they estimated would be 4 to 5 hours, we called around. Jornada gave us an appointment right away, had us in and out in a half hour and did not charge an emergency fee. I hope they get back to being a place that felt like family, but until then we are going elsewhere.

August 14, 2018 will be one week since Sandy had dental surgery at Animal Hospital of Las Cruces. Prior to surgery the doctor and his assistant went over the procedure with me so that I will know what to expect after the surgery. My little Sandy is doing a 100% better than what she was doing before surgery. I would like to say thank you to everyone for your excellent service.Ruth

We’ve been going to the animal hospital for years now and they’ve always taking care of our little dog very well.

We brought our dog in as an emergency, she was throwing up and looked very lethargic. So with concern we rushed her here. We were told she had to stay over night, with the understanding that she was not going to be monitored. We were advised that someone would come in at 9pm -11pm to check on her. And that if we want her to be monitored, we would have to take her to El Paso. So we agreed to leaving our Mamas, knowing that she was going to be connected to an IV and getting fluids. With that said, the clinic quotes a low & high end price, which was the overnight stay and 4 hours into the next day. At this time the Vet has diagnosed her with Gas! So we figure that by the morning we would recieve a phone call with the status of how our Mamas is doing. 12pm rolls around, havent heard from the clinic, so I call them. We were advised that our Mamas has been recieving anti-acids to help with gas. Tech goes on telling me that Mamas is Depressed, scared, tech took her outside and Mamas just dont want to walk. Now the tech is saying they want to keep her another day. Which at this point my concern is Mamas is not comfortable where she is at, Im asked to hold and not sure who picked up, whether it be a tech or Vet. Well whoever it was was very rude showed no concern about our Mamas and seemed very bothered when I was asking every question I could possibly think of. So they cut me off short and said they would release her in the afternoon, FOR ME TO CALL BACK! Really, this is our fur baby and Im going to ask every question to get a full understanding. Mamas is just as much family as her 4- 2 legged sister.

Order unnecessary tests in order to run up the bill, but never actually diagnose what is wrong. Will order a medication and ask you to call the office to see if it is ready, then tell you they have no record of it when you do. Avoid this place - they dont care about your pets health, only making money and they are very disorganized.

I have been going here for 10 years. Dr. Walley and Dr. Johnson are great !Front desk staff have their ups and downs, probably due to the typical frustrations of working the front desk. I have had my times where I was annoyed with them, other times when they are great. I have also had other vets there that were not so hot, but they seem to come and go.

I took my pet here when my usual Vet couldnt get me in. They thoroughly explained things to me and gave me options. I will likely go back.

Dr. Walley has been absolutely amazing taking care of my dogs. She is very professional with her procedural care of the animals, and while consulting customers. She takes a very personal interest into the well-being of all the furry creatures, that come through the doors of the clinic. She takes a very proactive approach to the health of the pets, reminding owners to keep up with their diets, exercise, play, training, vaccinations, and vigilance of health concerns. I would highly recommend her services to anyone, who wants their pets to be happy and healthy.

My dog suddenly became ill Sunday night. Took him to the Animal Hospital where he was immediately examined and it was determined he needed to stay and have tests run and have an IV. The care was top-notch. He stayed two nights and is now home and doing fine

Our dog had to have surgery on both rear legs. It was hard on him to have the first one done in November and the second one in February. It was made clear to me what would be involved both in what the surgery was and what to expect in terms of recovery. I am happy to say it all went very well. I was told it would be July before he was back to normal. He is on the right schedule to make that true. All in all, a good experience for all of us in spite of the recovery hurt for the dog. I would never consider any other facility.

Ive never had a bad experience here. They are always friendly, the wait isnt insane, and the practitioners spend more than 5 minutes in the room with the animals. I have gone to another vet/boarding house in town and had the opposite experience. I love these guys!
