I have been able to find an artist to work with my hair most anytime I used the salon. The really good ones just dont tend to stay.

Three adult family members, two haircuts and one with highlights and haircut. Everyone gives Style America 5 stars. We will all definately go back for our next haircut. Clean & sanitary, everyone very nice & professional. And followed Covid rules.

I had not been to this particular shop before but the one I have gone to for the last 15 years had closed. I was really impressed with the size and cleanliness of the facility. Erika had been with the other store so I knew I would be happy with her work. I highly recommend this store for haircuts or anything dealing with hair.

I had my hair cut shoulder length by Claudia and she did a great job but after a few days I decided I wanted to go shorter and came back. Valerie cut it the second time and also did a terrific job. Both these ladies are fantastic and Id definitely recommend them.

Dont try to set an appointment for a hair cut here. You show up and they tell you that you still have to wait behind everyone else in the store anyway. The appointments mean absolutely nothing. Very Frustrating.

Super friendly staff. Open till 7 during the summer which is a lifesaver. Mondays are pretty slow, walk ins welcome. Never waited more than 30 minutes and the stylist was helpful in choosing a hairstyle that would last a while. TIP YOUR HAIR STYLIST.

Honestly, not that great.I liked my stylist, she was very personable and all, but honestly, the hair cut was not that great. I asked for a messy bob, and halfway through I mentioned that I wanted to be able to part it on both sides, so I wanted it to be even. I can understand if, at that point, she had said, Oh, sorry, Ive already made it kind of asymmetrical, is that okay or do you want me to fix it? or something like that, but she really just put curl cream in there and sent me on my way. At first I liked it but later when I got home I realized that it was NOTICEABLY uneven around my face; the left side was a good inch shorter than the right side, and I had to fix it myself. It also looks pretty choppy; the layers dont blend well into each other. I kind of feel like I just stepped out of the 90s. Im very disappointed in this haircut, and I wont be going back.

Always great service. I am old, have but a little hair and they give me a great haircut. Wish I could get the same barber each time I go in, but I am never consistent in my days and times, so I understand.

I love to go their and get my hair cut but the last time I went the lady cut one side shorter than the other and was not very pleasant. But overall this is still my favorite place to go.

I’ve been here once before to cut my own hair, the hair dresser that I had was very good and knew what she was doing. Unfortunately, she no longer works there. I decided to take my nephew in today for a cut, showed a photo of exactly what I wanted. Clearly explained what I did not want. To start off... she did not know what she was doing, the blending in the fade looks terrible. She was also not able to do the line up correctly, the front hair line was slanted. It clearly wasn’t straight but “she didn’t see what I was talking about.” She had to call someone else to assist. I also pointed out that something else needed to be cut shorter and she said they do not carry the same styling tools as barber shops do therefor she will not be able to fix it. If a stylist does not have the proper tools or knowledge to do cuts on boys/men simply just say so instead of wasting people’s time and money.

3 years ago I went to get my hair done and it did not come out as I wanted it or even close to what I wanted. I decided to give it another try as it’s been some time. I went in and told Valerie I wanted 1 inch off and to add layers. When she finished cutting, my hair was still wet and I trusted her judgment and told her it was okay she did not need to blow dry my hair. When I got home I started combing through my hair coming to realize my hair was butchered. You couldn’t make out the layers as some were shorter and the others were longer than the bottom layers. The right side of my hair was somewhat “okay” but the left side... even my boyfriend noticed and he’s not one to notice hair. I went back to Style America on N Main told Valerie the problem with my hair. Her response to it was “that’s weird, I’ve never had any problems with my cuts before.” As upset as I was I requested a refund to go somewhere else to fix her mistake. Valerie got on the phone as there was no manager there until Friday. Pat who also works there came up to me and sincerely asked me to let her fix my hair, as she knew I would be happy with it as she can do it. I gave her a smile and sat in her chair. In less than 10 min Pat did a great job! I walked out of there pleased with my hair as I should have the first time going in. If you go to Style America on N Main please ask for Pat she is professional, sincere, kind and EXPERIENCED! As for Valerie she should not be walking around with shears, she may not have had issues in the passed as no one had the guts or were too embarrassed to go back and tell her. Thank you Pat so much I greatly appreciate you fixing my hair! Style America has a bad reputation because of their stylists but with you there I hope it will change.

Dont give them your business! Terrible customer service and very unprofessional! This on top of grieving the loss of my sons dad two days ago. We went in trying our best to regroup and move forward with life. But our experience at this place just added grief to our day. Right from the start the customer service was horrible. At our arrival I begin to sign up my sons for a haircut, the woman who is getting our information suddenly gets approached by another stylist and immediately she ignores me and begins a conversation with her. I thought for moment that she would turn to me to tell me she was done requesting information and to take a seat but I was wrong. After a while of standing there looking at them continue their conversation I assumed she was done and I go sit down. I should of walked out then but I didnt want to be brash, thinking it was my sadness causing me to be sensitive. Finally, one of my sons gets called back, then while he is getting his hair cut, the only stylist of 3 of them with knowledge of cutting a high and tight (Viviana) starts complaining of my other sons and a separate waiting customers request for that type of haircut. All meanwhile Im sitting there near her working area, with no concern as to wether I or my kids heard her or not. To make things worse another stylist walks by and says I know, I dont know why they dont just go to a barbershop instead of coming here. Again, neither of them caring that I or my kids, who are paying customer were able to hear them. Almost at the same time my sons haircut was completed and we proceeded to the cash register. The stylist who was complaining was the one to cash me out. She then had the audacity of asking me if I was going to have my other sons hair cut done (the one she was complaining of cutting). I responded I would perfer to go to a barbershop as they had pointed out in their commentaries. She didnt have the professionalism to offer an apology. My son ended up not wanting to go anywhere else to get his hair cut just to make things easier for me. Take care of those who go give you their business. Treat customers with professionalism and kindness, after all, you have a job because of us. You also never know what circumstances people may be going through and how your interactions can affect them. Never again will I go back!

Very good customer service, just very poor attention to detail. I went into the place with a 4 head and left with a 5 head and a lop sided line up. Other than that it was good.

I went in for a haircut and told the girl I didnt want it that short. I told her where I wanted it and she cut it EXTREMELY short. I am very upset with the way it came out. Very disappointed.
