I have taken a BMW 3 Series and a Chevrolet Pickup to Superior Motors to address minor mechanical issues. The BMW had a bad Idler pulley so just in case it messed up the water pump when the pulley locked up, I had them swap all the cooling system parts while they were at it. They swapped, hoses, thermostat, water pump, expansion tank, and the idler pulley too. They improperly installed the radiator expansion (overflow) tank which caused the car to overheat and the head gasket to rupture. This repair will cost me OVER $1000 to fix. The owner (Sergio) has a friend selling off his lot but is equally responsible for this bad review because he drew up the documents and processed the transaction. Jose Vara seems friendly at first but not an honest man. First, posted the 07 mini cooper with 105k miles but it actually had close to 107k, I asked over email if the car was truly great condition, no problems he said yes.....I explained Im driving from far and do not want to waste anyones time.I test drove the car....quickly I smelled burned oil and he said No I dont.... so I decided to take to a local Firestone and they found a valve cover gasket leak.... he said he was not aware but it had been leaking oil for some time per the 3rd party repair shop. I got an estimate and we took it off the price.....I purchase the car bc at Superior Motors they have a shop so they could handle other possible issues. Days later in my hometown 3 separate shops confirm it has 2 more urgent leaks. I reach out to Sergio no call back, I text Jose here is the exchange:Im sorry you feel that way. I can honestly tell you that we didnt notice any leaks on the car and never ran it through the shop........ We did nothing wrong but we are willing to work with you on the repairs if you come back this way.....I asked and no response on how they can repair.... i spent over 1k in repairs.Not honest and Yes its used but the price should have been much lower.
