They were quick to response to my call and gave me an appointment two days later. I just hope they can fix the issue in a timely manner.
Customer support was great over the phone and Oscar, the repairman, was really professional and very thorough when checking what was wrong with our washer and explained to me what he was doing and what it needed. When he told me I had a faulty sensor he ordered it and explained he would have it ready asap. Was really grateful that the part got here before the week was done. He called and came over immediately to fix it. Super happy that they were able to fix my washer especially since I had a ton of laundry that I had to do before it stopped working.
Had someone come out to diagnose my fridge (had to schedule it two days after asking for the diagnosis and with a 1-5pm time frame. Technician showed up at 5:45. Wife took time off of work to be here for nothing). It costs $89 to diagnose something, but then they try to upsell you on a warranty in order to drop the $89. The repair quoted was $720. BUT if you get the warranty, then they will cut it down in half.Apparently anytime the fridge needs repair, it is $240 labor costs period. Even if it is an easy fix that takes 5 minutes. I gladly paid for the diagnosis. Im not a refrigerator repairman and I wasnt able to 100% know that what I thought was the correct fix.So its 3 stars because-* they were late and had no contact (the website says they will contact to let you know when they are on their way. I had to contact them)-* and because the repair prices are ridiculously high in the hopes that they can get you hooked on a $50-70 a month warranty plan.
Is the worst service Ive ever had, it took them 64 days, they never know the real status of the parts, the dont honor the service dates, among other things. My best advice, do not contract Sears for servicing your appliances.
Other than the fact I was rescheduled, the service was excellent. Repairman was polite, kept me informed about what he was doing and stayed to run a cycle on the machine to ensure the job was done right! I prefer actual Sears repairmen instead of the third party services they send sometimes.
BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE! Service man was knowledgeable and courteous. Knew his work and was prompt.
The ice machine in my refrigerator was not working correctly. I requested someone to check it out. So I made an appointment with Sears. I waited a month for the appointment. The day of the appointment came and went. They never showed up. I checked on site for the reason. Supposedly they went to the wrong address without first calling me to verify. Thus the appointment was canceled. So I made a second appointment, waiting another 2 or 3 weeks. This time I specified to person my exact address and to call before going. The gentleman came and checked out the refrigerator. He only checked the freezer, did not clean nor vacuum anything nor used any parts. I was charged $99 and plus just to come and see my freezer. He could have at least given it a cleaning, but he didnt. I will look else where for repair.
# I. Get live operators on the phones. Impudent computers do not set the stage for a pleasing interaction. The repairman who came to the house was very pleasant, did his work in a very competent fashion. He did a two-man job, exhibiting knowledge well above the average worker. This man should be promoted to a place of supervision & management decision making. Sears could certainly regain some of their lost luster by promoting men such as this to upper level management positions.
Part for my refrigerator took 4 weeks to arrive, and to install. Worst of all there was never any communication informing me of the status of the part ordered. Would call Sears and no one could tell me if part was ordered, had shipped, etc. Imagine yourself without a refrigerator for ONE whole month.
Never showed up. Never called. Used someone else.
I give the repairman a 5 star rating. He was friendly, polite, and worked quickly.I only have 1 negative comment about this whole process. I have had to have a repairman come out 4 times as my washer continued to break down. The fourth time, I was informed that the washer was not repairable. Although this was a warranty repair, for the 3rd repair visit, I had to wait 3 weeks for someone to come & do the repairs. This was most inconvenient because the nearest commercial laundry was over 20 miles from my home. I believe that there should be some priority for customers who have purchased a Sears extended warranty. I do want to state that I am satisfied with the warranty coverage as it provided a good sum of money to use to replace my washer.
According to the technician, everything was good during his visit but the washer continues making a sound when on the rinse and spin cycle.
The service man was excellent. He thoroughly checked the washer and dryer and also got the rest of our appliances on new warranty with Sears.
This is the kind of service one would wish service calls from all businesses would be!!Mr. Martinez, the technician, called two days before to review time/date/issue. He called again before coming to our house. Upon arrival, Mr. Martinez explained the reason for the problem and what he would be doing to correct it. He worked quickly, and the problem was solved in half the time I expected. Thanks for having such professional technicians on your team!!!
This is a very poor service and is not acceptable from such a so called big Company that I have had my washer not working for 2 weeks and had a set apt. and they just had the courage to reschedule another 2 weeks like really when we been waiting for them to show up ....WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE HAD WITH SEARS !!!!!! DONT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR
Horrible! My brand new dryer was not heating. The repair men came several times (4 in total) and after three weeks of line drying my clothes, they finally replaced a part. The man was rough on my house, scratching the wall and dryer, and he ripped the ventilation house from the wall without loosening the singe that holds the hoses together. It broke again less than 4 loads later. This time the repair man told me it was my houses ventilation system, (built in 2009) that was the problem and not the dryer. I showed him in the manual where the vent system is way less than the manufacturers requirements and he responded that the manual didnt say everything and it was still my problem. 1800 numbers did nothing but get a woman with a script who repeats that Sears tech must deem appliance as unrepairable before theyll replace anything even if it didnt work from the beginning. Dont waste your hard earned money at Sears. Show Lowes or Home Depot or anyone else who cares about their reputation and isnt on their way out of business.
Technician was was on time and explained the maintenance work he performed. Would recommend the Sears yearly maintenance check on all garage doors.
They still havent fixed the same problem with my refrigerator for the past 3 years. Ive had six visits, even this one which no one even showed up for, and the problem still persists. All customer service calls are through a call center from India. I am giving a one star review because I cannot give a lower score.
Fast, affordable, convenient
