I did not catch his name but there is an employee there with blue hair, I had no idea what I wanted but I told him about how long and asked him to make it look good. he quickly got my hair cut and it is one of the best looking haircuts I have gotten. he did a great job.

Alex is my favorite. I have gotten a couple colors/ haircuts done by him and they have been amazing experiences. He’s very friendly and professional and does an amazing job every time. He pays attention to detail and I was comfortable trusting his judgment with my hair!

I tend to do stranger cuts and colors. In the past I found other stylists that were very good, but I was always stuck compromising professionalism and reliability for creativity and innovative styling.Enter the new(er) management and staff at SmartStyle. I know, I know, weve all heard stories from someone about certain salon franchises, but this particular salon is different. Everyone there is friendly and a legitimate delight to converse with. Ive even become a regular and, while I do go to one specific person, I can honestly say Id trust my hair with anyone in that place. For once I dont feel like I have to compromise talent and receptivity for professionalism and reliability. And all of it at a reasonable price. I know it might sound a little silly, but Im serious when I say the entire staff of this place has made me feel listened to and cared for.Your hair is gonna be in good hands; trust me on this one.

Was a bit skeptical about any business attached to a Walmart, but gave them a try anyway. I was pleased with the professionalism and quick service. They had excellent communication and great personalities. Will go again for future hair cuts! Highly recommend

Gehlan did my hair and it was the first time Id gotten it professionally dyed and I was so in love with his work!!! Manager was not very pleasant. Washed my hair with cold water. Left visable conditioner in my hair. Scrapped the back of my neck with his comb. Had to ask him to part my hair correctly before he cut it. Its uneven and I left with soaking wet hair. Im not pleased and now have to go somewhere else to get it fixed.

Got there 10 minutes before closing due to a typo on Google but the stylist, Rachel, was still very willing about giving me a cut. No other salon would have done this that close to closing time. She listened well to what I wanted and was very easy to talk to. It wasnt one of those awkward conversations that usually happens at salons. She did an AMAZING job at giving me what I asked for with my hair and was extremely friendly the entire time. Our salon is based on being able to walk in and receive a service. There are only 2 of us and we do our best to be as accommodating as we can. We take appointments for chemical services but we cannot guarantee appointment times for haircuts because if someone comes in prior to that appointment time we cannot refuse service to that guest or make them wait for someone who is not here. Chemical services take longer so we do schedule those in order to more accurately plan our wait times. Thank you to everyone for being so patient and empathetic!

I wish I remembered the name of my stylist, because she was amazing! My stepmom bas been cutting my hair for 10 years, so I was nervous to find a new stylist, but this woman listened to everything I told her I wanted done with my hair, but stayed cautious and gave me subtle advice on how to achieve my look while keeping it complimentary to my face shape. And I always had the option to cut off more, but thanks to her professional opinion, it turned out perfect! If you go here, ask for the woman with short blond hair with pink and blue tips! 10/10 would go back.

I never seem to get what I come in for. They brush you off here and there. Its crazy I had to tell the lady she made my sons hair choppy and she had the ball to say its just his hair... It didnt look like that before. I have had my long hair cut there before. Rachael did a great job .

The Smart Style at the Wal-Mart on Livingston is the best. The stylists there will listen to their customers and help them make a decision on their style. The store manager, Sherrie Taylor is terrific and cares about her employees and customers. Thank you Sherrie.

I love this place! The ladies that work there are so nice and love what they do, and do an excellent job. Plus theyre so affordable! I got my hair washed, trimmed, blow dried and styled for just $16! The gal who did my hair was so fun to talk to and she had fun with my hair, and suggested we trim it with a razor since she understands how we dont like the obvious straight edge haircut look! And the cut and style looked AMAZING! Im always going back to them for regular cuts and styles to keep my hair healthy.So rather than spending $100 at a high end hair salon, go to SmartStyle! You are providing these families with an income, meeting new people, and having them do what they love!

I have not been there but a friend of mine just got their haircut there. There are two stylists and she went in and took the one that was available and got what she considers one of the best haircut shes ever had. Both of the stylists are friendly and cheerful and according to my friends assessment theyre really good at what they do! Theyre located right in the Laramie Walmart so parking is easy and ours are good.

Came in for a haircut as a walk-in, and there wasnt much of a waiting time at all. The ladies working there were friendly, and knew what they were doing. Even were willing to work with me over time to change my hairstyle a bit. Well done.

Really nice people, REALLY bad haircut. I requested an a-line cut and instead got a choppy and VERY uneven bob. When I requested a refund (because it desperately needed to be fixed) I was told that it was not their policy to issue refunds but were willing to redo the cut. Not feeling comfortable returning there, I contacted Smart Style who was in fact willing to issue the refund. Despite that, all $20 still isn’t enough for a cut anywhere else so save your hair and time, go somewhere that can get it right the first time.Also, I would definitely recommend anywhere else if you are looking for any color correction or removal. I am aware only so much can be done with brightly colored hair, but this was an overall very bad experience. Over $100 and five hours and I get better results with a home bleach kit.

Asked for a trim and got 6 inches cut off. Did an undercut and she shaved half my head. I now have bald spots in my hair. She was a new lady so don’t go to her! She will ruin your hair!

With as many hair salons as there are in Laramie, one would think thered be no problem scheduling and getting a good haircut. For most people it may not be an issue but for a working guy like myself who often works past 5 pm during the week and am not able to guarantee I can keep an appointment, its been a challenge. Ive heard there is no room for walk-in appointments, schedules are full or the salons that cater to walk-ins close early because theyre short staffed (and have been for months). Ive dealt with this scenario nearly each time Ive needed a trim since I came to town two years ago. The last straw for me was when I had an important meeting and was able to get into one of the franchise salons. The stylist was very pleasant but had to interrupt my trim several times to answer texts on her phone. The next morning as I combed my hair I found that my part didnt lay down like normal and something felt out of place in the back of my head. I looked with a mirror and discovered the obvious clipper width gouge. I know loggers who couldve done a better job with a hatchet.I knew about the salon at Walmart but Im embarrassed to say that Id assumed because of their location that they were probably not very good and I never gave them serious consideration. We were on our way out of town for a holiday weekend and had to go to Walmart. As we walked by the salon, I took a chance and stopped in and asked if they had any openings for my son and I. Adrianne said she had to finish with her current cut and although they were supposed to close soon, if we didnt mind waiting about 10 minutes shed stay and get us in. After a pleasant conversation while she worked, I was pleased to see that we got exactly the cuts we asked for. No hacks. No new part location. She perfectly nailed the same boring old haircut Ive had my whole life. Thats all I want. Adrianne did a wonderful job! So lucky to have found her!

Grateful on did not expect the service I got from a salon inside Walmart, did get a shave a shampoo and a haircut for $27 great deal ask for Mary she only works weekends.

Generally, I choose to never shop at Walmart but when youre in a tiny town with no other options for quick errands, what can you do? My partner decided to get his hair trimmed while we waited for an oil change. The two of us walked into the salon together and the stylist treated me like I was crazy to accompany him to the chair (there were zero clients in sight and we were forced to do nothing for an hour in the store while we waited for our vehicle). She was rude, embarrassing and very unprofessional. Stick to your regular places, people. Leave the Laramie Walmart behind.

Ive come here for times to get my sons hair cut. Thirty minutes before they closed and they keep saying they dont have time. Was just there with no one in and she said 30min wait. Every time especially this last time they have been rude short and snobby. Ill never try again at this place.

They have very little experience with men’s short hair cuts. A lady cut my hair so unevenly and non uniformly.The price is cheap, but so is the service.

Cut my daughters bang extremely unevenly and charged 9 for it. Will not take her there again
