This place is the com.bomb. I saw Ross and he nailed my hair cut and beard trim -- he knows what hes doing. This was an on-the-road cut for me, but Ill definitely be back. It was that good!

Came in for a haircut with Levi the other day and was pleasantly surprised how professional and clean the shop was. Levi payed attention to detail when cutting my hair making suggestions and made sure I approved before doing anything to my hair. He was also extremely professional and friendly making great small talk to pass the time. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a decent haircut in Laramie. Definitely worth the money and making a reservation.

One of my the best Barbershops I have ever been to, when I was in College and this place opened, I was always looking forward to getting my haircut here. Unfortunately I moved out of Laramie to Arizona, and lets just say no BarberShop in Arizona can compete with Martin Barber. I will definitely come back here if I am in town visiting.

The best Barber Shop in all of Wyoming! When you walk in you feel like you have stepped in to the 1940s while being getting by a genuine smile and a person that you can call friend. Yes the prices are rather high but you will be getting the very best haircut or beard trim that you have ever had in your life! I love coming here a dating my son here!

The whole atmosphere once you walk in is very adequate. There are no call ins or anything so you will have to go to their website and set up an appointment but it is very well worth it! First, you choose the date and time you want to come in. Second, you choose which barber you want to go with (all of them are very talented and have great conversation). Third, you choose from a variety of different things ranging from a simple hair cut to a whole plethora of bundles and options to getting youre beard trimmed or having a hairline lined up. Its a great place to have a nice conversation with great, whole hearted people while getting a slick and clean looking haircut.

The atmosphere this place provides is something I look forward to every month. Working full time and four kids means I dont get much time for myself. This place is my escape. Levi is a barber of exceptional talent. He has also become a customer of mine, but most importantly he has become a friend. He is the perfect combination of entertainment and professionalism. As of one year this month I have not gone anywhere else. Walking out of there I always feel my best.

Excellent flat top haircut from Nathan. This a really cool classic barbershop when each barber displays a lot of talent and expertise in their craft. I highly recommend having a haircut here but they are appointment only so plan accordingly.

No other barber in town would touch my 2 year olds hair. Andrew was so polite and professional. He does amazing work and my 2 year old gets so excited to go see the barber!

I have been cutting my own hair for roughly 8 years now, and every once in a blue moon I’ll go to barber shop. I never leave very impressed. Martin barbershop is the exception. I got my first haircut here from Nathan and he did a great job. I was very impressed with him and the shop atmosphere. You can tell that everyone there is the real deal.

I have been getting my hair cut by Ross for over a year now and he always does a phenomenal job! He makes great conversation, is very personable. You can tell all the guys in this place take pride in their work and they wont let you walk out the door if they dont feel as though they set you up with a great cut!

This place was my go-to for awesome fades and shaves. They were always incredibly friendly and super personable. If you want a good haircut experience go to this place! Im sad they arent in California.

There are few places that evoke the kind of old-world, service-centric mood of a great barbershop, and Martin does it in an excellent way. Their barbers are friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is top notch. Keep in mind that it is not a walk-in barber unless otherwise noted for that particular day on their social media. Its a great system that saves the customer time, and they under-schedule so that they can spend as much time as they need without making anyone feel rushed.

Great experience! It can be hard to find a decent barber, let alone any that still will do a straight razor shave, that I can trust. This place was clean, relaxing, and very professional. Definitely willing to pay the extra price to have the job done right! Thanks guys!

The shop is classy, with nostalgic decor and a dash of modern flare to make for an unforgettable experience, and the barbers are friendly and professional. I cant go anywhere else after having been here.

Amazing barbers. I’ve been three times and had three different barbers all cut my hair. Each did an awesome job but my favorite cut to date has been by Levi, he took extra time to make sure everything was to my liking while also being personable and very friendly. Without a doubt the best place in Wyoming to get a professional hair cut.

Got my second haircut from Levi yesterday, both have been perfect. Im sure everyone else here is good too, but I personally recommend Levi for a sharp cut.

Levi cuts my hair every 4-5 five weeks and does an awesome job... the neck shave with the hot lather is refreshing. If you want a good cut and shave Levi is your man.

EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL. Awesome bunch of guys who do incredible work at an astoundingly low price. I am never getting my cuts/trims anywhere else in Laramie as long as they are in business. Absolutely must recommend it.

Good haircuts, friendly staff but the price is TOO HIGH. A hair cut used to cost $20 but for some reason they are now charging $25, and with a tip its about $30. The haircut is not worth $25. If you are constantly booked all week long, you could charge $20 no problem and still make a decent profit. The guy around the corner charges $14.

These guys dont just cut your hair, they are artisans of their craft. Im not that good looking of a guy, but after going to Martin Barber Co. I look better than I ever have. Im not trying to sell you on going there for your hair and beard needs Im just going to tell you if you dont youre making a huge mistake.

We took my son there for his first hair cut. I wanted a cute baber shop for his haircut. I didnt like that there was no telephone number to call so I made the appt on line and commented it would be a 2 year old. Once we arrived we were immediately greeted with, we dont do kids. I heard this statement at least 4 times while I was there. Tyler ended up cutting his hair and took his time and it was wonderful. I was a little sad to be greeted like that when I put in the comments it was for a child. If you really dont want kids there please post it on your website. Otherwise the haircut was great.

Awesome haircut and shave last time

This place is a laughable. I walked in and, wanted an appointment which they dont take appointments there it must be done online! So I scheduled an appointment online, and waited a week for my haircut only to get there and find out they didnt get my appointment (through their website), and couldnt do my haircut. I wasnt even offered anything for that day or anything else. Their mannerism shows they dont care about their customers! Theres a better place across the street!

Walked in this morning and waited at least 15 minutes, 2 barbers, 2 guys getting haircuts. Both barbers clearly saw me come in and sit down, neither said a word to me.One customer in the last barber chair got up and left when the barber was finished with his haircut. The barber then asked if my name was Dennis, I said no, just here for a haircut. “Oh well, we are booked solid” and “I have other barbers coming later but they are booked solid too”. There was no one else waiting and an empty barber chair was available. But he insisted there was no way he could take care of me and escorted me to the door. I thought I was in a bad episode of Twilight Zone or Candid Camera, this had to be a joke.After looking at the website I now understand it is the first barbershop in my life I have ever encountered that requires you to have to have an appointment to get a hairut. If you work solely by appointment then HAVE SIGNS ON YOUR DOOR!! Dont assume all customers know your appointment only policies, have visited your website or can read minds. Also, I highly suggest you don’t let a customer that is unfamiliar with your policies sit there for over 15 minutes, not say a word to him when he comes in and then tell them him you cannot provide a stinking haircut that takes 15 minutes. It was just the most rediculous customer service I have ever had. I have been going to barbers for the 25 years of my Army career and all of my adult life, I have never once, ever had to have an appointment for a barber. What a waste of time and completely situationally unaware customer service for both barbers to let me sit there that without telling me I need an appointment and then tell me to hit the bricks.Maybe you guys should look at requiring an annual membership fee as well as being appointment only!? I would expect this kind of garbage at a men’s “salon” in New York, LA or even San Fransisco that does crack waxing and hair styling but certainly NOT at a barbershop in Laramie, Wyoming. Good luck, you are going to need it.

Very rude experience with these guys today. I have been getting haircuts from this shop for close to a year now. Never again. I dont mind paying 20$ to help a local business, but this place is no longer worth it. Decent haircuts, rude owner.

Tried Martin Barber Co. because my shaving stuff is still hidden in moving boxes. $40 for a haircut, beard trim, and straight razor neck shave, which might sound high if youve only gone to salons, but I think its a fair price for the services that you cant get at a chain salon like Great Clips or Cost Cutters. Excellent customer service; Andrew was very relatable and kind. He cut my hair well, but he could have done better on my beard. The shop is up and coming. In a year or so I can see them having a great reputation. -0.5 star because I had to go back inside to have the top of my beard lined up better (which he fixed immediately at no charge). -0.5 star because the underside is uneven as well, but Im not going to go back twice to have it fixed. Ill take care of it myself when I finish unpacking. That should have been caught. -1 star for displaying an expired license without his up to date license present. Even though my first visit was not good I will probably go back and give the other barber a try. I believe the other barber is more experienced and is the proprietor of the establishment. Dont let one experience stop you from trying them though! I will still recommend Martin Barber Co. if my next visit is better.Update: My friends have advised me I was too critical on the underside of my beard. It is very close to even and they only noticed once I pointed it out. Id like to give back 0.5 stars, and an additional 0.5 for the timely and professional response to my review. Was a three, now a four!
