Love this salon! ♥️ I was serviced by Sydney, who gave me an amazing cut/style! All of the stylists were friendly and the salon was very clean! I will go back when I have need of a cut. I highly recommend this salon! 👍😁

HORRIBLE. went here because it was cheaper than the nicer salons and it was the worst decision!! pay a little more money for a much better job. my hair felt so dry and dead after getting a balayage done. She had no idea what she was doing and even tried to DRY the bleach with a hairdryer... she said i did not need a hair cut but when i went to a better salon they recommended i get one. she said the blend on her work was beautiful and i can assure you it wasn’t. i paid $120 for it!! my hair was uneven and one side was much lighter and more orange than the other side. yes i said orange. pay a tiny bit more at a better salon because this one was horrible. i got home and CRIED and immediately booked an appointment at a better salon for them to fix it! attached a photo so everyone can see. Who would ever want their hair to look like that?

She took extra time to make sure it was a great experience.

I went to get a Malibu treatment and everything went get up until the end.. I asked her to blow dry me so I wasn’t leaving with wet hair and so she blew dry my hair for a little bit and then said I was done but my hair was still soooo wet.. it was all good until the end

Ive never fully enjoyed going to the salon but this place is amazing. I came in to dye my hair for the first time and Sydney was absolutely amazing! She was so friendly and easy to talk to. You can clearly see how much she cares about hair. Everyone else was very friendly and engaged with their clients. Hands down best hair experience so far. My hair looks amazing. Thank you Sydney!

The staff here couldnt be more friendly and accommodating. Often, this kind of quality place feels stuffy or aloof. Not the case here at all. I enjoyed the time spent there during my color and cut, and I was happy with the results. Bravo, ladies!

If you ever go here, make sure to ask for Stacey! I had my hair dyed for the very first time today, I was nervous and a bit unsure about everything but she took really great care of me and my hair. She talked to me throughout the whole process and kept me calm and comfortable. Once everything was finished she even took pictures which made me feel gorgeous. My hair hasnt been cut or anything in a very long time. I was nervous and apprehensive when I got there for my appointment. My stylist Ashley was absolutely amazing. I got a complete transformation. I got about 15 inches cut off into a gorgeous hair style. She then gave me honey blond and purple foil high lights that look amazing!!! I cannot say enough good things about this place or Ashley, she was amazing and I really hope she sees this.

The manager really was able to manage my curly hair! i have 3b curls and she was able to tackle them, no problem. i also asked for bangs, and she cut them long enough so when they shrunk, they were at a very good length! 10/10 overall, a very good place for hair cuts. she did exactly what i wanted.:))

I dont know the name of the woman who cut my hair and waxing my eyebrows, she really did a great job. She’s a beautiful black american woman. I will definitely go back shes awesome and friendly! 💛 God bless!

Very friendly and professional! And helpful when I lost my debit card. I was looking all over Wal-Mart and was on my way to check outside when I heard Victoria call my name. I looked up and she was holding my card up! She thought to look under where I had been sitting and waiting before I realized it was lost. She moved the chairs out and there it was! I was so relieved! She then gave me a very nice haircut. 😊

Sydney has done awesome on my whole families hair colors and cuts! I have super curly, crazy hair and shes always made my curls look awesome. She has done well with coloring grey hair and cutting thick, frizzy hair too. She super versitile and takes on challenges like a champ. We always request Sydney when we go to smart style.

I came in with orange hair I bleached myself.. Tina got all the orange out and made it lighter!! All while doing that, she was also touching up my grandmas hair!! 100000 recommended

Wow I cant believe how much these girls do for me. I walk in ugly and I leave smiling and looking fly. Every time I come here is great. Normally dont have to wait very long and if I do its not a long wait and they keep me entertained. Julia is amazing, 10 out of 10 would recommend her to anyone and everyone that wants to look fly.

Went in for a cut of about 6-8inches and a dye job. I have had a bad expierence cutting my hair before so I was nervous. Tina was amazing, I felt Very confident and comfortable during the whole expierence. I love the new hair style and we are still working on it. I would Recommend everyone go see Tina!

I love this place Tina fixed my hair after I messed it majorly with at home hair dye. They got me in the same day. Ther prices are reasonable and service is awesome.

I took my two boys there to get haircuts in the manager Julia told us it would be a 45 minute wait so we need our appointments and waited about 15 minutes later I had asked how much longer we were going to have to wait and she told us another 45 minutes. She Should have been honest with us from the beginning instead of lying needless to say I ended up canceling our appointments and left after wasting almost an hour

We love smart style in Lapeer! I take both of my boys to Julia who is an amazing stylist. My oldest boy who is 5 has ADHD and cant sit still for very long at all. Everytime he gets his haircut by Julia it turns out amazing even though he squirms so much. I wont take my kids anywhere else!

After speaking with a young lady named Tina that was not only extremely helpful, but very polite and a pleasure to talk to, I was able to determine this would be the perfect new fit for my busy lifestyle.

I went here for my first time this weekend, the reason I came here is because my plans to go to my regular barbers werent able to work out and I was desperate for a haircut. I didnt make an appointment, but was able to get in a chair immediately as a walk-in (I quickly learned why.) I dont remember the name of the girl who cut my hair, but I dont think she should be cutting mens hair. I get a very common and easy haircut, basically a high and tight with a little length on top combed to the side and back. After she finished my cut she asked what I thought. The fade was about 1/4-1/2 inch lower on one side so I had her fix that. After that I had her fix up my beard, I basically had to instruct her step by step through that, like she had never trimmed a beard before, when she was finished I was left with random uneven hairs throughout my beard. After that she washed my hair, which she didnt offer I had to ask for (I dont know if thats how it usually works here, but Ive never had to ask anywhere else). Then she asked if Id like her to use product and style my hair, which I said yes. She didnt bother to dry my hair at all before applying product so it looked like a goopy mess. At this point I was ready to just leave because I didnt want her anywhere near my head anymore. Before I got out of the chair she didnt bother to try cleaning any of the hair off my face or clothes, so I cleaned my self off and wiped out as much of the product from my hair as I could out in the parking lot before getting in my vehicle. When I got home, i went to style my hair the way that i would do it and the side where my part is is extremely uneven and just looked absolutely terrible, I had to wear a hat the entire weekend so I wouldnt feel embarrassed. Long story short, I made a decision out of desperation, it was obviously a terrible choice, and I will never be returning!
