Frandor UPS store - Shipping is no problem, my issue has been with using their printing service. I have sent two print jobs to them, neither were completed properly and it takes far too long to resolve. Check your work before you leave the store. I paid for cardstock, it was printed on regular paper. I paid for laminating, it wasnt done and I was told it would take at least 15 minutes to warm up the machine - I asked for a refund instead which took over 10 minutes to find my order and give me cash back. I had to look up my order number so they could even find me. Whoever does the print jobs doesnt pay any attention to the orders. Most annoyingly, they dont seem to care or move with any urgency when a job is incorrect. I wont be using them again.

I will echo what folks have been saying about the owner especially not wearing a mask, nor having some sort of barrier. Exemption? Fine, then dont help customers at the counter!!! A face shield or barrier may not be CDC approved, but SOMETHING is better than NOTHING. This is just giving off the appearance that you dont care about your customers, nor your employees that help make money for YOU.. It doesnt take a genius to figure that out, and no need to be so incredibly rude about it. I wont be visiting again, during the pandemic or anytime after. Good luck staying in business when all your customers are dead!If I could give 0 stars, I would.

This place is the absolute worst. A couple of months ago they failed to scan and ship a return item and were belligerent about it; that if it had been brought in, they couldnt possibly have messed up. No offers to investigate or review.Today, TEN MONTHS into a pandemic, the snarky man at the counter was not wearing a mask or shield and there are zero barriers to keep him from breathing on you. I dont care if he qualifies for an exemption per previous review responses…get a face shield and put up a plexiglass barrier! No excuses other than apparently being spiteful. If you are unable or unwilling to protect your customers, work in the back, away from the public.

I see by the comments that the guy that works there is medically exempt from wearing a mask... however, a face shield may be worn alone instead...or even a plastic barrier. Yes saying 6 ft Apart works but for the time when you can’t... another barrier should be provided. Didn’t see any cleaning products or hand sanitizer out either...

DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE!! I have been to many different UPS stores and I have never had an issue. The old lady who works there is extremely rude and will not help you with anything. Save yourself the headache and drive the extra 5 minutes down the street to the East Lansing store where they will be more than happy to help and actually appreciate your business.

I never like coming here because of the customer service. The last two times I had the same lady help me (older with white long hair) and both times she was so facetious and condescending when I had questions about my outgoing packages. I will be finding another location close to me that actually has helpful and kind employees.

Employees as actual store are fine but delivery drivers dont even attempt to make a delivery if you live in an apartment building. I work from home and somehow they miss me every single time despite never hearing a single buzzer ring or door knock. They make ordering things completely and utterly pointless and you have to haul yourself down to their store. Would give zero stars if possible I cant wait to move so that maybe I can get a delivery driver that cares.

I went to this establishment on 8/26/2020 @ 2:15ish and the only employee (male) working was not wearing a mask. He said that he has an exemption from the governor and did not have to wear anything. There is NO such exemption in Michigan. If you are exempt in the state of Michigan from wearing a mask bc of health reasons, you are still REQUIRED to wear a face shield. I refused to be served by someone not wearing a mask. Bc of his lies I was forced to go to the Martin Luther King location instead. There a nice women helped me with my package while wearing a mask. I had to drive 15 minutes out of my way bc an employee at this UPS location thought it was acceptable to lie to a patron and endanger the public’s health. I am disgusted and disappointed that this behavior is tolerated from such a large American company.

Male employee does not wear a mask. There should be plexiglass shields at a very minimum. Medical exemptions for masks are largely unfounded-- there is no need to put the public at risk in this way and flaunt public health and safety guidelines. Avoid this location.

Complete garbage people run this location. Don’t bother even stepping foot in this location, the people working here are trash and I hope they lose their store. I’ve requested Amazon no longer to ship through UPS so I never have to come here when I miss a package at my door.Never saw the guy people talk about, Rick, but I dealt with some woman who treated me like an idiot when I was asking questions. The place isn’t owned by UPS but is privately owned. I recommend you go to the actual corporate owned location in Lansing if you want better prices, consistent service and an actual person helping you instead of some sleaze bags that deserve to lose their business.

If you need to track your package or delivery, I was told by customer service at this location that they cant assist me. They stated, We cant track packages after theyve been shipped and we arent in charge or responsible for the drivers. She was unable to help me locate where our package was.

Another excellent experience at this store has encouraged me to write a review. Ive used this location many times to send packages and the service is always very friendly and efficient. In this last instance, I needed to return 2 giant boxes to Amazon due to receivingincorrect/incomplete items. The folks at the store were friendly and very accommodating to my needing to bring in a couple giant packages, leave them in the middle of the store to complete paperwork, and supplying enough tape to get them secured. Came here on a Saturday morning, traveling from out of town, to get some closing docs notarized and overnighted back. Mike was here, to notarize the docs, and he also was efficient and calm and helped me get through a huge stack with ease. He also was able to assist Other customers while I completed paperwork. Terrible service. Went to return a package and the woman didnt do anything, the package was sent back to my house in a new box the next day. I took it back the following day to try and return it again. Almost got it sent to my home again until I explained multiple times its a return( it needs to be sent back to sender).She then proceeds to make a whole new shipping order and makes me pay for a shipment that was supposed to be a return. I called UPS corporate and they couldnt explain why I was charged for a return. I then called the original store and confronted the woman, she told me I had to pay for a new shipment because I didnt use the words refuse shipment, while I was returning the package.

Here goes with my first public review ever written. Apologies in advance for the length but the customer experience we had was as awful as you can get. My story starts off with a simple need to drop off some packages. Unfortunately, I just had knee surgery and am currently on crutches. My girlfriend has a leg injury which requires her to wear a brace and not carry too much weight. So obviously, we needed help getting our packages out of her car, one being a very large, heavy box.Once we pull up next to the store, my girlfriend goes into the mostly empty store to ask one of the two employees working for help. Being stressed out from the daunting task of getting the packages into the store, my girlfriend thought it harmless to quickly ask if there was someone who could assist us as we couldnt physically get the boxes without help. Unfortunately, the employee at the desk was still helping a customer and - instead of asking the other associate to come out, explain the store policy, or to simply ask for a few moments to finish up - her only response was, we have a dolly.So, of course, my girlfriend explains again that Im on crutches and she has a leg injury. Once again, the same four-word response, we have a dolly.Since there was clearly no other help coming from the UPS employee, my girlfriend then takes the dolly out to the car to take the box out herself with incredible difficulty. I even had to move a box into the store by hitting it with my crutches after opening the door without any assistance.Finally, the 2nd employee comes to prop the door open after Ive done all that and no longer need her help. Regardless, I thanked her.Thankfully, a customer was leaving and helped us, as it was obvious to everyone but the 2 associates that we needed it. At this point, the initial rude employee had yet to move from behind the counter and the helpful one had gone back. With the kind customers help, we managed to get the box on the dolly, then to the counter.At this point, some other customers started showing up and a different thoughtful person offered to help us get the boxes up. We were grateful as the employees behind the counter again acted like nothing was out of the ordinary and actually seemed to be impatient that we were slow in getting our package on the counter.Even after asking customers behind us to go ahead, the 2nd employee was annoyed at how long we took. She scanned our packages and snapped at my girlfriend when she was worried she gave the wrong shipping label.So, it is clear that the two UPS employees time and effort are far more important than coming to the aid of two customers in need of help - or even communicating with us to explain their lack of action. Never in my life have I been treated with such indifference and rudeness, especially when all that was being asked was that we get some assistance with our very obvious physical limitations.*Edit 8/7/19*The store has reviewed the camera footage and instead of accepting any responsibility, tried to pin the blame on the two handicapped customers. Here are some responses to that:1-Its odd that your cameras could pick up the politeness of your associate but not mine. Repeatedly saying, there is a dolly is not polite. Getting the dolly was appreciated, but an explanation of store policy would have been the correct thing to do. Dismissing a customer curtly is bad business practice. An attempt at understanding and helping would have sufficed.2-The 2nd associate propped open the doors AFTER I was already in. I also thanked her, why was there no mention of that?3-She stayed close by by going back behind the counter?4-Actually, a customer picked up the package.5-That was appreciated.6-That was appreciated.7-Isnt that her job?*Edited 8/8/19 for clarity*

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I had a package sent to this location because I wasnt home when it was delivered. So I go to pick up my package and didnt realize that the package had my maiden last name on it and on my license it says my married name. So the first time I went in to the store Rick whose the owner states that we dont have this package here and instructed me to call the the number on UPS receipt to see where it was. So I leave and I spend about 30 minutes contacting UPS only for them to tell me that my package is still at this location. So I go back in a second time and I work with Rick again. Now he tells me that I need to have a government ID with my correct name and hands me a document and told me to read it as he proceed to the next customer. I read the document which basically states that I need a government ID with my maiden name and a utility bill with my current address so that I can retrieve my package. So I go home and I get my passport with my maiden name on it and bring back a bwl bill with my current address. I then return to the store a third time. This time I worked with a different person who was very nice. She looked over my documents and told me that I had all the right documents and said let me get your package. Well Rick comes from the back and starts to double check my documents. He then states, I have to look over it so we can make sure that this is correct as if the employee was not doing her job. I then expressed my frustrations with Rick and told him how frustrated I was because he wasnt helpful and required me to make 3 trips to the store before I could get my package. He then sarcastically says well I have to double-check as well. I then expressed my frustration with Rick and explained that he could of just explained this to me the first time I came in instead of having me to come back 3 times before I can receive my package. Overall as the owner, I expected better costumer service out of Rick. I PRAY TO GOD I NEVER HAVE to deal with him ever again.

I was the assistant manager, and we knew our customers by name....where they were shipping.....always fun and light conversations. Im sure if I put a pic up, a lot of you folks would remember me.I have bad news for all these reviews....Rick is the OWNER of the store, and he has a penchant for hiring scummy people. After I left, the whole store basically went into a tail spin. Shame to hear he is miserable and taking it out on his customers. Ive not been back to Michigan for 2 years, but these reviews are cringe worthy. Maybe you should read these and make some changes, Rick. This is probably taking loads of sales from you.....but you never really were a people person.

I have gone into this UPS store three times in the last two weeks to ship merchandise to a clientAnd all three times the lady at the register was extremely rude and refused to assist me and printing out a shipping label. I would highly recommend going somewhere else that cares more for customer service, After putting this review and hear the manager who am I spoke with originally at the store then sent me an email acting as if she wasn’t aware that she was being rude and short with me and not providing quality customer service. She was sure to let me know that she was the manager. Whomever is above her in employment should really consider a position change or at least a very in-depth conversation of how customer service Should be provided. I typically use the UPS on MLK and they provide mean far better customer service so I recommend anyone looking to use UPS in the future to go over to the UPS located on MLK

VERY RUDE!!! We needed information on how this UPS store handled DHL packages. The RUDE young man I spoke to on the phone wasnt being clear in how he gave his answers. He assumed that what he was saying was helpful, but there was missing information in his short curt answers. When I tried to tell him his short answers didnt give me the information I needed, he kept saying I just explained it to you. When I tried again to get him to understand his short answers werent helping me, he said Ok, thats enough, this call is over and he hung up! He kept answering my questions as if I was SENDING a package through DHL - and I needed information on how to RECEIVE a package through DHL through this UPS Frandor franchise store. I realized later I had been trying to communicate with a Narcissistic Personality, who will NEVER admit they are wrong, or not clear. I have done many years of customer service, and being willing to take the time and make the effort to clearly communicate to a customer is top priority. I called the main DHL Headquarters, and THEY gave me the information I needed in a VERY POLITE and COMPREHENSIVE manner. It would have been nice if the UPS in FRANDOR, LANSING, MI (who handles DHL) could have been as helpful! I guess they dont feel they need to be polite and able to clearly communicate!
