Due to work constraints on facial hair I have never grown out a full beard. However in November of 2017, I decided I was going to grow one. 4 months into my beard I was relocated to NW Indiana. I was in need of both a hair cut and and beard trim. For the first time in a long time I cared very much about who I would let cut my hair (gotta protect the beard). After multiple google searches and reviews read for area barbers, I decided to give Nick at Profile Barber Club a try. I liked the fact that the shop was geared towards one client at a time and appeared to have an emphasis on facial hair. I made an appointment relatively easily through facebook messenger, and arrived armed with a few pictures of the kind of look I was considering. As a barber Nick was was patient with all my questions on beard and hair maintenance and care, he was deliberate and took the time to explain what he was doing stopping multiple time to show me and make sure we were on the same page. It is clear that Nick has a passion for his craft, and cares that his clients get the look that they are trying to achieve. Less than 24 hours following my appointment I have already had multiple comments about my look and clean and well edged my beard is. I could not be happier with the results from my visit to Nick at Profile Barber Club and feel confident that I have found my spot for hair and beard care during my time in NW Indiana.

Made an appointment for Wednesday at 5:30. I made it here on time. Tried the door, it was locked. So I looked it up and it says they’re open. Tried calling and got no response. I’m very disappointed because I’ve tried this place before and it was great. I don’t recommend this place

Went out of town and missed my appointment. I tried to schedule an appointment and was told that I have to pay for my missed appointment due to policy. Poor business choice as I will not return and won’t recommend anymore.Response- Also, it doesn’t state anywhere on your Facebook page about your policy. Instead of being understanding about the situation you are now losing all my business and my friends business. We all have agreed how ridiculous your “Policy” is.

Figured Id try this place after getting my hair messed up at the local chain hair cut places. Shop was nicely decorated, clean and spacious. Got a haircut (finally) that I didnt need to fix myself when I got home. Shout-out to JB for doing and excellent job cutting my hair, and Nick for running an awesome establishment.

Here I am minding my own business grabbing lunch when this charismatic dude runs up to me and introduces himself as Nicholas a local barber. He shoots me his story and hands me a card and walks back into his shop. His energy was so positive that I set my lunch down and followed him into the shop and made an appointment. Got a clean cut on shave on a Thursday, brought my son in on a Saturday and the rest is history. His knowledge, skill and energy is second to none.

Took my 2.5 year old there for the 2nd time today. Such a wonderful experience both times. He was so patient with my son. He even saved his Mohawk after I messed it up pretty bad! I was so scared that it would have to end up shaved!The first visit was right before our wedding and he paid extra attention to my sons Mohawk being exactly what I wanted. And even helped my *then fiancee* bald spot disappear!

Went in today with my husband and son, he did an awesome job on my husbands hair and beard, took his time and is a really great guy. It was really nice of him to put cartoons on and he even played with our son a little while cutting my husbands hair. I just found my new barber. Nick was personal and professional. I walked in looking like a dirty hippy, and walked out looking like a million bucks. My son and I needed haircuts badly, and trying to get a 2 year old a haircut is like trying to paint during a hurricane. Amusing, but not very effective. Nick took the time to give the boy a clean cut and was great about the whole thing. For myself, I wasnt sure of the look i wanted, Nick looked at my hair, saw the way it naturally fell, and went over a few different looks i could go for that would work well for me. In the end i got a superior cut from a real pro. If you want some kid fresh out of school to cut your hair, dont come here. If you want a hard sell for overpriced products you dont need, dont come here. But if you want a professional barber for a proper mens haircut, this is the place. Thanks Nick! 10/10

Nick is the Man! I had the same Barber for about 10 years before I moved to this area and struggled for about 3 years trying to find a new one. He takes his time and really cares about the quality of the fade and the lineup! As a businessman I make sure to get my cut at least twice a month. Nick is a very tentative Barber. Your first visit he really takes the time to get to know what you want done to your hair. I’m really picky about my hair and how it’s cut. When you get short haircuts every imperfection will show up, and you can’t hide it for a couple weeks. Won’t be disappointed. I like the fact you can make a appointment. Between work and a child, free time is limited. So, the fact I can make an appointment, show up and not wait, means a few more minutes that I would of lost waiting. If you do show up early, there is a nice waiting area with two large tv’s to kill time.
